Still no AF...

Has anyone had wacky cycles after an IVF cycle? This would be my 2nd month with AF after our failed IVF cycle. Last month AF came on time like clock work. I am currently 5 days late and just took an HPT which was a neg. Just wondering if this is normal. I am sure that AF will arrive but of course my mind is wandering....

That was me exactly. After an unsuccessful IVF, once I stopped progesterone injection, AF came as scheduled. So, I figured that I was back on track. Well, the next month, AF was so late...I think she finally came after 49 days. Apparently, this is normal...I spoke to my doc about it...I guess it just happens sometimes. Even the following month, my cycle was 46 days. I guess it just takes time to get back to normal.

OK cool.. thanks! Did your doc put you on anything to make AF show or did you just have to wait until AF showed up?

Well, I actually waited a while to contact my doctor because I knew he would tell me to take a pregnancy test...and after so many months of trying...I think I have a fear of those things now. OnceI got up the nerve to take the test, and it came back negative, I did call my doc. I think that was around day 44. I went in for a blood work...then the nurse called me and told me a would get my period any day. Sure enough, I ended up getting my period in the next day or two. So, no...I didn't take anything to bring it on.

Thanks! Looks like I will be doing the same thing... I hope it comes soon so I can get started with my next cycle of IVF>
