Discount Fertility Drugs

Post by amy GA »

Hi,

I'm new to the board so not sure how the "talk" goes but wanted to see if anyone has purchased their drugs from a mail order, discount provider. I will be doing my first IVF starting in early January. Any direction will be much appreciated!

If you don' t have insurance coverage, check out IVP Care or any pharmacy that has the Design RX plan. That helps save on some of the more expensive drugs.

Did you ask your clinic? My nurse ordered my medications for me at a discount mail order pharmacy. The pharmacy called me, got my insurance info-a little bit was covered for some of the more common drugs. After insurance verified what would be covered, I paid with a cc over the phone & they shipped out that night. I recieved my meds the next day packed in a cooler. It was really easy & cost less than major chains. Therefore, my first thought is to ask the clinic where you go what they recommend.

I'm the same as catlady My RE's office had the discount pharmacy contact me, I paid over the phone with cc and meds were shipped on whatever date I wanted. My RE uses this pharmacy for clients who have to pay cash (or credit card/same as cash) for their meds. The RE's office ordered my Lupron and Follistim through this discount pharmacy. You may need your RE's office to set it up, but if you want to send me a personal message I can give you the name, address, and telephone number of the pharmacy for your RE to contact. I just don't know if I'm supposed to post that kind of info here, so just IM me and I'll give it to you.[/b]
