Blastocysts not surviving the thaw process

Hi Ladies,

I have just had a FET and the 1st embie didn't make the thaw overnight so they thawed another one in the morning and I had it transferred.

My question is: If one blastocycst in a batch of 6 didn't make the thaw are the others likely to react the same?

Has anyone got a BFP from a batch of embies when the previous ones didn't survive the thaw?

I need some peace of mind.

Hi! Don't worry too much, I had the same thing happen, my first blast didn't make it, the second survived the thaw and is now a bouncing one year old! Good luck! Fee

From what i have read that if a blast does not survive the thaw than almost always it was genetically abnormal. So the second little bean is hopefully a healthy one. Good luck. STICKY VIBES coming your way.
