Progesterone Shots versus Suppositories

Post by KMHTTC »

Any thoughts on the Progesterone Shots versus Suppositories? My RE will use both and due to my fear of the large needles she said that I can use the suppositories. I have heard that the shots are better though. Does any one have any thoughts on this or first hand experience?
Thanks!

I am on the suppositories and a patch...no needles for me! And I'm 6 weeks PG! I'd much rather not have to deal with needles!

According to my Dr. he said that research shows no significant difference between the 2 of them. I was concerned about this as well and I think mentally we just assume that the more invasive method would be better but my Dr. said that was not the case. If you are really questioning this or have concerns You should speak to your Dr.

Good luck
