sex after embryo transfer? how soon?
hi, when is it safe to have sex after ET?
38 yrs. DOR, TTC since '04, recommended DE but didn't listen
3 IVF's & 1 FET: 1 cancellation, 1 m/c @ 12 wks, 1 chemical, 1 miracle boy & miracle 'natural' PG right now while waiting to cycle (WTF?)

I didn't let Dh touch me until after the first trimester was over 
i was too nervous! But my Re said the same thing to wait until things are settled for a few weeks after the transfer.

yes, you should at least wait until the test day, they will then tell you how to proceed.
yeah, DH and I were too nervous to do anything during the first trimester, so we waited after my 12th week. A looooooong time, I know! but we were willing to wait and avoid the risk.

Same here. I was told no sex until after the blood test. We where given the ok after that but we where way too nervous to do anything until after the first trimester. Even now at 18 weeks we've only actually "done it" all the way 3 times. everthing else feels like we're teenagers trying not to get cought by our parents.....lol. It's actually kinda fun.

My RE has some unusual advice in the info packet. It says its helpful to have sex in the 2WW as semen contains stuff that aids implantation!!!! My DH says it makes sense and likes the idea
but my last RE said no sex till further notice, so i think i am a bit scared to put this therory to the test!!!!!!
At the end of the day, 'normal'people dont stop having sex just because they are pregnant!!!!!!
