Hi
you cannot have ivf unless there is infertility issues.
And as you said you can get pregnant so they wouldnt allow you to use ivf just to try and get twins
hope this help

IVF is used to help those of us that would not be able to have a baby other wise. Not for people who have no problem concieving and just want to design their pregnancy.
I'm sorry, but I feel like you have a lot of nerve to come on here and ask us such a trivial and insensitive question. We have all been through so much pain and suffering not knowing if we will ever be pregnant at all, and there you are with your beautiful baby boy that you didn't strive for for years and pay thousnads and thousands of dollars for and wheren't sure if he would EVER exists, wanting to know if you can use our life line, which for most of us is our last hope, just to concieve twins.
I don't mean to flame, and I would never be so harsh about something if it truely didn't cut me to the quick like this question did.
I'm sure you didn't mean to be hurtful, but I ask you, as a fellow woman, to please take an extra second to think about what it would be like if you thought you might never have a child of your own and how devestated you would be and how much you would cry and be angry if it was hard for you. Then ask yourself how you would feel if someone who had no problems at all asked you a question like that.
Enjoy your baby and your fertility and please realize that many of us will never be in your position and that you have more than any of us could ask for in this life: No problems in becomming a mother when ever you'd like.
Good luck and God bless.

Silverangel you didn't have to apologize for flaming...she asked for that one! I worry everyday my first cycle is a success so I can at least have one child and she has no fertility problems just wants to have twins, just be thankful for the one you have and the ability to have children without the stress and heartache we experience.
