Hey everyone... still driving myself batty in the 2WW. I have read in several posts that high E2 is not good for implantation chances which just about had me in tears because mine was really high the last time they checked it. Hopefully it works anyway. I guess my office does different than most. They want me to do a HPT on day 12, call with results and then set up BETA. I may just call and see if they can do a BETA earlier... I don't know if I can wait until next Thursday to find out.

Gina - Congrats on your ET. Welcome to the 2WW... baby dust to you!!!

Karen - Sounds good... no signs of AF. Good luck! Can't wait to hear about your BFP!

Michelle - So sorry about your BFN. Hope you stay around for support and don't give up hope.

Chris - I loved your quote, it had me in tears. Thanks for sharing.

Mrs. Cutter - Good luck with your ER today! Hope it goes well.

havebaby - 20 follicles is great! Sounds like you are well on your way!

wickedwheel- Congrats on your BFP! :D

JDC - good luck with your stimming. Glad to see your getting started.

Jules - welcome to the group! I know how you feel about the 2WW - it's so difficult! Hope you have good news for us soon!
TTC for over 4 years
HSG - tubes okay
DH semen analysis - good
Multiple clomid rounds and IUI - no sucess

Good morning girls, wow so much has been posted and I've just been reading everyone's updates each day.

Just wanted to say to Michelle, I'm so sorry about your results. I hope you can find comfort somehow in your friends, family, this board, or however you can. Hopefully after you take some time for yourself then you will find that you're ready to try again.

Mrs Cutter, good luck at ER today. I think your follie count sounds great. Let us know how you're doing once you feel up to it.

Gina, yeah! Only 9 days huh? You can do it, so hoping for a BFP for you!

Chris, love your quote from the blog. Very inspiring and appropriate for the feelings that go along with IVF.

Karen, I'm saying prayers for you for tomorrow!

Congrats Wickwheel! That's wonderful news!

To everyone else in the 2ww, stimming, and in the process of getting started, I'm thinking of you all and wishing the best.

Hi all - just wanted to jump in quick and say congrats wickedwheel! fantastic - the fact that you succeed with one egg is just amazing!! Yah!

also Melo - they are checking my betas but they space out the tests. I guess they can't be bothered with extra tests so I had a beta at 9daysp5dt and then a week later and then 2 weeks later i'll have another beta and u/s. I guess more tests would give me peace of mind but they would also be expensive and wouldn't change my outcome....

anyway welcome julesg!

more personals soon.

Hi guys,
Sorry I've been MIA. I've been crazy busy with school and I also have a bad cold. :-( Anyway, just a few personals today...

Michelle - I'm so sorry to hear your news. I wish you the perseverance to move on and try again. We'll all be here for you...

Gina - Congrats on your ET and welcome to the 2WW!

I hope I didn't miss any BFP's in trying to catch up quickly - just in case - Congrats to all of you!

As for me, I had my first beta test today but my clinic doesn't call after the 1st one. So, I have 2 more days to go! I'm getting pretty nervous - I've only had minimal cramping, mild breast tenderness and no spotting. Not sure what that means. I'm too nervous to POAS so I'm just going to wait...

I transfered 2 at day 5 and had two separate days of spotting - one two days before beta and one the day after. Each one lasted maybe a half day and was brown light spotting.

Hello Ladies...

Jules: Welcome to the board.
Michelle, i am so so sorry for your BFN.
Wicked... Congrats. Hope u have a Happy & Healthy 40 weeks.

Well, I went for my first US scan after starting stims on 11/08. Everything looks good so far according to my Nurse. My Uterus Lining is hardening, which is good. And my follicles are about 8mm still and she saw about 6-8 in each ovary. I will be going in on Friday or Saturday again, and they can see how many are actually there and hopefully they will be bigger by then. She said 8mm is the normal state they should be in for the time I am on Stims. So basically everything looks good so far.

As for the Stims, she said thigh or stomach should be fine. So I will continue on my front thigh.

I'm so excited!!!!

Gina-I had no implantation bleeding at all, my DH noticed I was "hot" meaning he could tell to the touch my temp was higher than normal. He must be super sensitive! I was prego with the twins at that time.

Melo-About your HCG question, I took a HPT with an IUI on June 30th (IUI was June 17th, HCG shot June 16) This is 14 days later, negative. I took it July 2nd and it was positive, 16 days after IUI. Hope it helps with your math as to when to POAS.

Lady_J-congrats, we are about the same timeframe.

Things didn't go so well at my US today, they had me come in to see what was up after a high E level of 700 after just 5 days of stims. They noticed somewhat of a dominate follicle on each side but most were 8-10. They are letting the dominate ones "go" (I wonder where they are going) and going for the "group" that is up and comming. Anyway, I only have about 6 in this group which is very dissapointing. I am only 31 so I had wished for double or triple this number. I wonder if I should even try this cycle. I had a better response to clomid! I had 4 eggberts with clomid so I ask myself, why spend 2 grand on meds for just two more eggs. Why go through the process and get a loan for 15K for something that is lining up to fail? Please nobody respond with it only takes one. I would rather not hear anything than that right now. I am just really down. I don't know how much longer I can continue to lie to my friends about why I am not being physically active (I hike, mountain bike, play competitive soccer etc.) nor drink wine with them anylonger.

I offered to cancel the cycle but the doc said we will know more Friday. I just don't see where more eggs would come from. If half are mature, that is 3, half fertilize, that is 1.5 then half make it to day three, I am looking at .75 of an egg. So for those thinking it only takes one, I don't even have that! HA! Nothing...expect nothing, get nothing.

I never got my hopes up for this but after loosing two babies I didn't want to get emotionally involved or attached to a certain outcome because I have had so many bumps in this journey. My DH says, "we wouldn't try if we didn't thing it may work." Then again, he isn't sticking himself with needles 3 times a night and suffering headaches and bloat.
