Sara - happy to hear that things are going well and that you have a date! Nov 17th is less than a month away. Are you ready??? Are you still having contractions?
I've been getting as much rest as I can. I'm so boring!!! hahahaha! DH has been doing a great job picking up the slack since I'm on the couch all the time. DD is going a little crazy but she's doing fine. So far only a few contractions which makes me feel better. I know the NICU can do amazing things but it makes me nervous to have such a premie. I hope to go to 40 weeks like I did with DD.
What happened to everyone??? hello???!!!!! Hopefully everyone is OK.
I hope that everyone is well. We are doing great here. The babies are growing well and we are getting more and more excited by the day. The room is coming along. We just had our 1st shower....my goodness we received so many lovely gifts for the babies. We are still wondering where to put it all. Our next shower is about 2 weeks away. We are planning to deliver Thanksgiving week, which will be week 37. I am still on continued bed rest, which is so wonderful. I couldn't imagine being at work at this time.
Hi Everyone!
We are going into week 34 and doing well. I had my showers a few weeks ago and we received such wonderful gifts. It looks like Babies R Us in our house. I will be having a c-section but my Dr wants me to get to 39 weeks if possible. He is on vacation the week prior. There are other Drs that can deliver but I really like mine....so in my mind it will be week 37 or week 39. The nursery is just about done. I'm still working and just more and more tired each week.
I hope that you all are still doing well. We are doing well here in NC. We are looking forward to delivering our twins in 2 weeks. How is everyone else doing?
Wow two weeks that's not long now is it! You must be really excited - still 5 and a half wks for me. I am looking forward to finishing work now in three wks. Really don;t have my mind on the job! Love Vicky

Yes, 2 weeks is not a long time, but definitely long enough. We still have so much to do. I thought that I would have been through with putting away all of the baby shower gifts and reorganizing things, but not true. We have to choose a pediatrician, now that my bed rest was lifted and still meet my 2 appointments a week with my Ob. I hope to have a lot accomplished by the end of the week, so that I can relax next week and mentally prepare for our little bundles...
Hang in there!!! 5 1/2 weeks will be here before you know it... How are you doing at work? I couldn't imagine being at work during this time.
Wow you must have had loads of presents! We don't really have baby showers in the UK - a shame really! I hope you managed to get everything sorted out by the end of the week so can really relax for the last few days.
I'm lucky (in a way) as I work from home so I don't have any pressure commuting - although it's very lonely at times. I think if I did have to commute I would have stopped work earlier. As it is I will have three weeks off before my due date to put my feet up and get ready - can't wait!
Right best do some work! Love Vicky

Oh my, no baby showers?? My hubby and I feel so blessed to have been able to have 2 so far. We have received really wonderful gifts for the babies.
Everything should be nearly ready and relaxation is in sight. Bags for the hospital are ready. All of the little clothes for the babies are sorted. Some washed, folded and ready for them. The pediatrician was chosen. We have a decent stock of pampers and wipes. The co sleeper and crib are ready. The carseats are in the truck and ready. The bottles and pacifiers have been purchased and will be sterilized this weekend. The last of the thank you's will go out this weekend. We are planning to do the last of the store exchanges the earlier part of next week.
Oh, you are working from home. That's wonderful Vicky. That is a lot better than physically going into the office daily.
Your post did make me smile - you are SO organised - now just go and sit down and have a herbal tea - you definately deserve it! I don't think those babies could want for anything more! Love Vicky

Oh Vicky, that is so sweet of you. I don't know about being so organized, but I will tell you that we have tried so hard to be as prepared as possible. We have had a wonderful time preparing and now down to the wire... My cerclage is coming out tomorrow if my Dr. can remove it without much discomfort. So, we can potentially go into labor between tomorrow and the scheduled c-section date.
I hope that Sara is doing well. I think she was scheduled to deliver this past weekend or the earlier part of this week.
Vicky, I am wishing you and all of our lovely ladies on our board a very blessed pregnancy and delivery.
Hi Ladies!
Finally catching up with you.
Today was my induction date but i didnt make it. My girls were born (after hosp ital nedrest for one week, steroids, etc etc) on Sunday, Nov 9th. I had a very ling labor but a very quick delivery. They were born 3 minutes apart!
Scarlett was born first, at 4.3 lbs and then Scarlett at 5.10 lbs. The both spent four VERY long days in NICU (although they were doling great!) and are now in the graduate bursery. They are nursing and doing everything they are supposed to do, so for now it is a waiting game. I am very very anxious to get home (3 hours away).
I hope your cerclage removal goes great, Karen..(mind did). And the best of luck for a wonderful delivery. There is nothing like it!!!!
Vicky, hope all continues to go well for you.
I am thinking about you ladies...best of luck~!!!
Sara
Wonderful Sara!!!! That is great news. Have fun with those sweet babies. It is so awesome that they are nursing well and doing everything they should. You all will be home before you know it.
Sara - Congratulations!! At what point do they think the girls can go home? So happy that they are doing well and are healthy! How are you feeling?
Karen - I hope everything goes well tomorrow. When is your scheduled C-section?
Vicky- How are you feeling? Are you ready?
I'm so ready to have this baby. Only 28 days to go. I have an ultra sound scheduled for tomorrow. I can't wait to see the little guy again.
I'm HUGE! DD was 9lbs so I'm assuming that baby boy will be big too. The nursery is finished and everything is washed and ready to go. Just waiting.........
I feel OK. I can't sleep at all but other than that I'm good. I'm 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced (as of last Monday). I'm hoping to go a little early - like around Dec 1st.
Good luck ladies! Wishing all of you pain free deliveries and healthy babies.
