FET in Nov?

I am now so confused. I went for first Blood & Sono today. As long as everything goes accordingly I will FET on 11/22. I mentioned to the nurse I am not looking forward to the needles this time. She looked at me and said what do you mean? I said I hate the PIO. She said no this time its all natural. We aren't doing the Hormone replacement this time its all natural. I am so confused now. I should have asked but it was too early. Any help would again be reat

DNT0809, I wouldn't worry. Clinics usually do 2 types of FET; Natural and With Meds. It appears that you are going ALL Natural.

Ok Ladies- i am back from the RE appointment and i am bummed <sigh>

my lining is only at 7 i have to keep on taking the estrace but he doubled the dose. i was on 1mg 2x a day now going to take 2 mgs 2x a day. My next appointment is for Wednesday 11/19 and we take it from there. i am guessing if everything goes well on wednesday then maybe the FET will be on 24th or 25th? not sure.

Cocosmamma i think you are right we will make it 3 for 3 this time around! Novemeber looks like it is bringing lots of BFPs over at the OCt/nov/dec boards. Last i checked they were 7 BFP's to 3 BFN so let's keep those numbers going.

DNT0809- you should call your clinic and ask them exactly what you will be taking, don't know if this will confuse things but i won't be taking any shots either. I will be taking progeterone suppositories once my lining is ready before FET.....

Don't be bummed Hope33, Remember I am on a higher dose of the estrace than you 3 mgs 2x a day. You are still on the bus with the rest of us, just maybe sitting behind us - LOL.

7 isn't bad - I read that you can have as low as 6mm to support a pregnancy!

Hackney- you are SUCH a sweetheart! Thanks!! I am not depressed over it just a little bummed- like my whole excitement flattened- I am sure by tomorrow after a good night's sleep I will be feeling much better . You are so right I am not off the bus just sitting In the back seat watching you drive the bus straight to a BFP stop!
The reason why I was on a low dose is that I am hyper sensitive to medication last time I took 2 mgs at once of estrace I had a weird reaction to it so I am a little worried about taking 2mgs at one dose. I will just have to break it up and take a little throughout the day. I just took 1.5mgs tonight and this estrace make me hungry!!!! I think I have gained 2 pounds since starting estrace
Anyway. I am really lucky to have this board esp. This thread to get me through this journey. Nighty night

Good Morning Ladies,

Hope33 you are feeling better this morning!

HOPE33: 2 pounds?!??!? Please, that is nothing! Since starting the estrace on the 10/31, I have gained 5 FREAKIN' pounds!! When the nurse told me that one of the side effects was hunger I thought 'oh lordy'. I eat from sun up to sun down it is so shameful. I swear yesterday I ate all day; it was to the point that I almost made myself sick. Even though I couldn't possibly eat anymore I did. I swear the estrace some how cuts off the signal from the stomach to the brain that tells you that you are FULL!


So tomorrow morning I call for my time slot for my FET on Tuesday. YeeeeHawwww!!!

So where is everyone else on the FET for Nov???

Ohhh a funny little story this morning - well kinda. The DH was doing my 'butt shot' and freakin' hit a vein! On top of bleeding to death, that meant I had to be poked again!!! Could have just killed him! Only good think is he felt really bad and now is being so sweet, will have to use that to my advantage to get him to do his 'honey do' list without fussy! LMAO!

Have a wonderful afternoon ladies will check back in later have to run and do some errands - especially hitting the grocery store! Because as you know I am starving to death!!!

Well a good night of sleep takes care of a lot. Iam feeing better at least the FET wasn't canceled.
OMG talk about hunger. I thought I was the only one wanting to constantly eat.I have to be careful last FET in june I gained 5 pounds that I didn't loose so I have to watch it this time around.
Hanckney-OUCH! Hope your butt is feeling better. Def milk it today . Honey list- love it! Maybe I should start calling dh's to do list a honey list- dh may respond better to it? My nagging doesn't seem to be working :):)

We have to go to a baptism today which will be an all day event. We will be getting back late so not sure I will be able to check back in if not I will check in the am

Hi everyone...I'm an scheduled for my 1st FET Jan. 9th...anyways I just got my calender listing my meds and when to start them. I haven't taken most of them before, but was wondering if the dosages sound where you all are. I am taking Lupron starting Dec. 1, 2mg of Estrace daily starting Dec. 20, starting progesterone shots 50mg twice daily Jan. 5, and 16mg Medrol daily starting Jan. 6 - transfer Jan. 9. I've never take the Estrace or Medrol before...I've been reading the posts about Estrace making you hunger...looking forward to that any side effects with the Medrol? Also, how are the prog. shots, I've heard their "oily" ...Good Luck to you all!!!!!

Deerstar- YEAH! Your meds sound just about right. How exciting that you are starting too! I was neer on the progesterone shots or the medrol i was on progesterone supp and the steriod was a different kind. I will have to ask my re about the medrol since i see that is the drug of choice from the re on these boards.

Hackney- where are you???? Did you get the call yesterday, i was sure you would have posted! Let me know when you go in tomorrow!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!! How are you feeling?

Yep, the FET is tomorrow morning, I go in about 9:30am, which means the procedure will be about 11am or so.

I swear it seems that I am more nervous this time around than the other 2 times, not sure why!

I am on the verge of tears! Thank goodness I am the only one in my little area today! Gonna be a very looooonnnnggg day!

Hackney - so excited for you. Does your clinic prescribe bed rest after transfer? I am so NOT looking forward to the PIO shots. Ugh. It's taken me about 6 months to lose the knots I had and now I'm about to start regrowing them!

Hope - glad your PMA is better. It'll be fine. I am sure your lining will be great in the next few days! When do you go back in to check it?

cocosmomma: yep, 3 days of bed rest. That is the worst!!!

'Butt Shots' (PIO) as I like to call them, has my butt all bruised up!! I swear the 1st round of the 'butt shots' I had very little bruising, the last 2 times have been just horrible. I never got the knots, we put a wash cloth under hot running water while I am preparing the shot and while he is giving me the shot and then he massages the area with the hot rag for about a minute, this seems to help me.

Yep, I have 2 little blast frosties just waiting for me to come and get them. They were graded a 4aa and 4ba (RE said that was very good) now we pray that both make the unfreezing tomorrow and we can transfer both.

I made a boo boo the nurse double checked this morning and I am doing a Natural cycle like I did last time. I must have misunderstood her. It looks like this Saturday will be the transfer. These are the last of my frozen embroyos. So this has to work Good luck to everyone else. Please keep us all posted. One thing is strange I don't have to do PIO only the supp. Weird but hey I will take it
