BFP After First IVF Cycle?

Have any of you ladies received your BFP on the first try? I would love to read success stories from you guys.

Hi Jenn Jenn - Yes, we had a BFP on our first try, and we are expecting a baby girl in March! I had my cycle stopped right before starting stims due to 2 gigantic cysts on one ovary, but I did AP, and they shrunk in a month to the point where we could move forward!

I supplemented my RE treatment with AP.

Hi, I didn't get preggers in my first try, BUT about 3 or 4 of the ladies that I first cycled with a year ago got their BFP in their first try, so it DOES happen!

Yes I got my BFP on my first try and just had my twins a week and a half ago at almost 34 weeks. I have a few friends outside of this forum that had the same thing.

Thank you all very much. I continue to read all of these threads and sometimes you can absorb the disappointing news of others. I prayerful that it will work for me the first try becasue I really dont want to go the the emotional rollercoaster again. I am being optimisitic and trying to keep a positive attitude. My ET is tentatively set for December 10th.

good luck on your cycle, we got a bfp on our first try and my little bean is perfect and bfeeding as I type!

We got our BFP on our first try too! And just recently...October 24! We only transfered one five day blast. So it definitely does happen! Good luck!

Yes, I did get pregnant with my first IVF cycle in January 2004 and delivered my DD in September of 2004. I also just went for another IVF this past July, and I am 19weeks pregnant with a little boy. So, not only can it happen, it DOES happen, and for me it was twice in a row. Much luck, keep your faith, and God just may give you the best Christmas present you could hope for! Keep us posted!!!!

Hello JennJenn,

When I went through IVF for the first time, that was exactly the question I had and I am happy to say I too became pregnant on my first cycle of IVF. So stay positive; it can definitely happen!!

jennjenn...i also got pregnant my first IVF jan 07 and delivered a boy 10-8-07, now we just did our 2nd IVF in nov and pregnant again...so it really does work...

I transfered 2 3d & got a bfp on first cycle. Now waiting for ultrasound to see if it's twins!!
