Brown Spotting!

Post by Embie30068 »

Hi,

Has anyone had any brown spotting? I know TMI but only when you when wipe. Not enough to have a liner. I am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant and had some spotting last weekend it went away for a whole week but today it decided to start up again. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced any of this. Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Hi there. I had spotting a few times in the beginning of my pregnancy. I was terrified and in fact I had some pink spotting as well. I went to all the boards and looked it up online but still cried a bit. I went on to have a beautiful little baby girl who is a month old now. It is normal to have some spotting in early pregnancy, but if you are worried don't be afraid to call your doctor. I did. Good luck!

Thank You! And Congrats! shes beautiful:).

How far along were you when you were spotting? Was it brownish? And was it off and on? I had some spotting a week ago and it stopped and now today it started back up.

Bleeding in the first trimester is fairly common. I had brown spotting and it was a subchorionic hemorrhage which is usually no big deal. But you can get a uterine infection because of them leading to m/c. So my doc put me on antibiotics. My son just turned 2. Are you scheduled for your first us soon? I would call your doctor tomorrow and let them know what is going on. They will probably have you come in to do your first US. You should be able to she the HB now too.

Bleeding is never normal but also doesnt mean gloom and doom or the worse case scenario. I have been bleeding since 9 weeks. I am currently 14.5 weeks now and all seems to be going ok. Since your blood is brwn, it genrally means od bood whcih is less threatening than red blood. I had to go to ER twice because I had heavy read bleeding early on, now its just brown and really jusy gross. However I highly reccomend you share this with your DR. I am sorry your expereincing this, I can totally relate and my empathies are with you. Best of luck and hoping you have a healthy pregnancy-

Hi - i'm experiencing the exact same thing. I'm 6 weeks 2 days .... and started spotting brown today. I had the same spotting as implantation at 4 weeks but nothing since then and I also worry. I did call my RE and he said that as long as it's brown and light and there's no fever or pain then most of the time it's nothing.... but occasionally it's something worse. He said if it continued to let him know. I'm going for an U/S at 7 weeks next monday but that seems ages away. He also seemed to imply that it happens more with multiples and as my #'s are high it might have to do with that.....

anyway - i am with you in your worry!!!
