ajdec, no i am actually the exact opposite. i don't feel like eating anything and when i do i feel more nauseated. however, i don't think it matters too much. when i was pregnant with my son 5 years ago i was also eating all the time, constantly eating something and i only gained about 23 pounds. i would not worry at all. it's all gonna get better in a few weeks. i guess i would try to eat as much healthy stuff as possible. for me right now, i am just glad when i eat something, so i don't worry about healthy foods. don't worry.
i am also just so glad i am nauseated and feeling pregnant, that's the best feeling.
I added my pregnancy countdown scale by logging onto to www.lilypie.com. Then you click on customize your own free lilypie baby countdown to create your ticker. Next, click on mini size or full size ticker. Then complete sections 1, 2, & 3. In order to cut and paste so your ticker will show up, you need to only take part of the HTML section. First, you need to put
But, I had to put the [img] on both ends with no spaces between the [img]s. So if you look at your section in the HTML section and find something similar in your address that you created. Last, you cut the section you just created and paste it under the signature section under your profile.
If you have any questions, please just ask. It did take me awhile to figure it out. But, I kept playing with it and it finally showed up.
I agree with Pumma. Try to eat healthy snacks as much as possible. It is recommended to eat small frequent meals because when your stomach is empty you are more likely to experience the nausea. During this pregnancy, I have to admit that I am not always eating healthy like my other pregnancies. I too am just happy to have the nausea that way I know my baby is growing to be a healthy baby. I too am feeling hungry quite often, usualy every 2 hours. My family thinks it is amusing because I am known to be a small eater. Well, I am worried about the weight also but I will be very focused after the birth to loose the weight. I just want a healthy baby.
Okay...I said I wasn't going to be that girl who freaks out over every little thing during pregnancy...but here I am! My dog, who believes he is a 50 pound lap dog, stepped on my stomach tonight! I totally freaked out! And I know in my head I'm fine...but in my heart, just a little panicing! UGH. Just have this huge sense of such protection over my tummy!
It is understandable... I am sure we are all very over protective the same way you are. We have been through so much to get to this point and we will do anything in our power to make sure it happens. So please don't worry as long as you are not have the "terrible" symptoms like crampy, excessive gas, or blod clots with bright red blood, I think you are fine.
angelaezra - Thanks for the reassuring words! I think that it scared me more than anything...because it was like I finally realized how quickly something so small and innocent could affect the baby. Just one of those first time pregnancy realizations! Thanks again! How are you feeling?
Hope everyone is doing really well. I spoke too soon - I now have the dreaded morning (all day) sickness!!! I feel nauseated all the time & vomit some times - yuck. It is also really hard with a 13 month old to care for. At the same time it is also exciting to feel so pregnant.
Take care

Thanks so much for asking about how I am feeling. I am doing pretty good. I hope and pray that the spotting and the clot has dissolved. I haven't had much spotting since I passed a few clots Wednesday. I was supposed to go on a business trip to Chicago in December but my RE said they will not permit me to travel at this time. I am kind of relieved because the last thing I want to happen is something to go wrong while I was on my business trip and I had to go to the emergency room out of town.
I am supposed to have another ultrasound this upcoming Friday, which I can hardly wait to see my baby.
I hope everyone else is doing alright out there also.
Angela - Well I hope the spotting keeps slowing down! I can't even imagine how scary that must be! And good call on the not traveling thing. My DH wants to take an overnight trip in early December, and while I would like the little break, part of me is definitely nervous about it. Just feel like I want to get to that second trimester mark first. But we'll see!
Enjoy the u/s on Friday. We go tomorrow for our weekly scan and bloodwork.
We're planning on telling our families at Thanksgiving. Right now, only my mom knows. It's killing her! She wants to tell SO BADLY! lol This will be her first bio-grandchild (DH has two sons from a previous marriage) and I'm an only daughter....so you can see why she's especially excited about my pregnancy. But she's doing very well and hasn't slipped and told anyone yet! I'm very proud of her! I think we'll tell my dad on Sunday and then the rest of our families at the holiday. On DH's side, this will be the 25th grandchild, so I expect less excitement than on my side! lol It's getting exciting though...I'm starting to get anxious to tell people!
Missmolly - I have been so lucky so far...no real nausea for the most part. I did have a couple of days last week where I thought maybe I was going to be sick. But I am finding that keeping myself from getting hungry is the key. If I just snack throughout the day rather than eating big meals, I do okay. Although once in a while, my stomach just doesn't feel quite right!
i just wanted to share my good news with you. we had our 8 week scan today and our little beany looks great. the heartbeat was there, it measured just right, the doc even saw the baby move ... well, i did not, but that's okay. yeah, ... it's so exciting.
he also told us that the miscarriage rate at this point is 2-3% which is the same when you're 16 weeks or 28 weeks, it's just not called miscarriage at that point. so i thought that was very reassuring that things should be fine from now on.
i have been telling good friends and family; it's just too exciting and we are really far along already.
enjoy your scans tomorrow and on friday, aj and angela.
I have a question for everyone. Since we are around the same point in our pregnancies, has anyone experienced pelvic pressure? It kind of feels like a pressure feeling around my cervix or uterus area. I can associate with the AF feeling or something similar. I did notice something similar when I received my BFP. It is not painful but just an awkward feeling... I am just curious if this is a normal feeling or should I inform my RE of this tomorrow.
my prego brain is so stupid! i meant to post on the july board! oh well i am due 1st july, so i can go between the two!

Angela - I haven't felt anything like what you are describing. And really, at this point, even my little twinges/cramps have really lessened. I barely feel them at this point. I definitely expect them to come back as the baby grows, but for now, I'm not feeling anything like that. Good luck!
We had our 8 week scan this morning. Couldn't hear the heartbeat because the machine was not working right! But it was there flickering away...and the baby has definitely grown! So exciting!
Hi everyone. Sorry for being MIA. Had another scare with spotting on sunday and the doctor asked me stay off my feet. It has now reduced. Hoping it does not come back again. I know they say it is normal but it just scares you even when they tell u your chance of miscarriage is 3-4%.
Pummale and Ajdec, congrats on that great scan. It is so exciting to see it.
Angela, i had a pull on my pelvic area and get lots of weird feelings around my stomach that are not really cramps but more of twinges. The doctor had sent me for an sonnogram as i was also spotting at that time but the baby looked great with a strong heartbeat. I think it probably is just the embryo growing and the uterus changing. So don't worry about it. I still get it esp when i stretch and move around a lot. I just say it is the baby moving or telling me not to disturb it
Hang in there and good luck for friday.

Thank you so much for all of your responses. I am trying not to make too much of the symptoms but it is hard because of the previous spotting. I have noticed in the last two days that I have been extremely, extremely tired. I feel like I just can't get enough sleep. The nausea has become a big problem also. I think I started to brag too much about the minimal amount of nausea I had and now nothing relieves it !
Oh well, as long as my baby keeps growing I am happy!
