Well guess I did start spotting this morning and i feel very crampy so this means that by tomorrow I should have AF full blown. I hope thats a good thing since my appt is tomorrow. I am praying to God my RE is good and doesn't give me a hard time about my weight and/or my cycle lengths. Congrats on our new BFPs. Most of you cycle buddies have gotten BFPs which is crazy. Lets just pass baby dust all around.

JDC I was on stims for about 16 days. They said i had about 20 follies but only 8 eggs (all mature all fertilized).

Rhonda mine beta was 10dp5dt. You are 11dp3dt which is still considered I believe to be 9 days post blast, which is only 1 day short of my beta date..

It is not to soon. I am at th Sher institute and they always do a 10 day dpot transfer beta. It is enough time for any trigger HCG to be out of your system and to get a good beta ready.. My opinion, you should be fine..

Good Luck with you up coming beta.

You are Image :)

Amanda - Was your beta today? Wishing you the best of luck!!!!

Julesg - Will be keeping my fingers crossed for a positive beta from you.

Gina - Congrats on your BFP on HPT. Keep us posted on your beta #.

Mrscutter - No your beta is not too early. They start counting the date of you retrival because that is the day your embies fertilize and start growing. So if you had retrival on the 12th and Beta on 26th you are 14 days past transfer. The beta test are more sensitive then HPT's so if you are pregnant you should have a HCG reading on a beta test.

Babyhope - Congrats on ER. My last cycle they did 50/50 since we are unexplained infertility. We know DH's sperm knows it does it job but I still would rather have ICSI done. I think it give more chance of fertilization. I haven't watch Baby Mama yet. i thought about it but I think I already see too much baby stuff already. Tonight I was watching Friends and they had the show that Phebe did the transfer of her brother embies. Of course they showed her getting a BFP a few hours after transfer which is totally unrealistic but it still made tears come to my eyes because I want that feeling someday.

havbaby1627 = Also congrats on ER. Good luck on ET on Friday and going into the wonderful 2ww.

Hey Ladies-

I had a question for those of you with BFP. Following the transfer, how soon did you resume normal activities??? Were you on bedrest for a few days??? I was going to take a few days off and just veg on the couch. I know of 2 people who got pregnant by IVF and they said they literally didn't get off the couch for 3 days. So I would really appreciate any feedback.

Thanks so much!!

Well, I hate to bring the momentum down on this board, but I got a BFN today.   I had started spotting Sunday and was bleeding like normal AF by Monday so I pretty much expected it, but it is just devastating. I am so sad :( I just don't know what to do at this point. I just feel like it's never going to happen. My insurance didn't cover anything so I don't believe we'll be able to afford this for another year so so. It's just so heartbreaking. Congrats to all those with BFP's. I really am happy for you all; just wish I could celebrate with you.
TTC for over 4 years
HSG - tubes okay
DH semen analysis - good
Multiple clomid rounds and IUI - no sucess

I am so so sorry that this cycle didn't work for you. I know it is downer and really hard to deal with especially when you don't have the $ for another cycle. We are here for you. Maybe after a while something will come up and you will find a way to pay for another cycle. Wishing you the best of luck.

hi ladies...i have missed something- melo- have we heard from you and i missed it? i'm worried about you....beta results? hope to hear soon.

marynaz- CONGRATULATIONS! how exciting. i'm very grateful for your good news.

ajdec- so happy to hear your scan went well! i'm soooo eager for some time to pass and to get through this 1st trimester.. wish i was ahead a few weeks like you.. hope you're enjoying it.

robin- it'll be good for you to focus on something else during the wait- might as well take advantage of it and keep life 'going'.

jdc- very happy to hear about your follies :D they are persevering..as are you. grateful- great beta numbers !!! must be such a relief! i can relate.

mally, all the best for your FET! you must be so excited.

well, as for me, my ridiculous fatigue i've had is getting better (but then of course i worry this means my pregnancy is disappearing), can't wait for my next beta- 2 more days. my clinic does them a week apart, which is DRIVING ME CRAZY. then my obgyn will do them weekly following that for my 1st trimester. he wants to do extra as i m/c'd last time.

love to all, karen

jandc33- I was back at work bright and early at 5:45 am the day after my ET. For the 2WW i did very light exercise (like walking or slow cycling at the gym), didnt pick up anything heavier than my purse and made sure to eat/drink healthy. There has been no evidence to show bedrest for more than the afternoon of the ET makes a difference in the pregnancy rates. I did have to take a day off due to pain from hyperstimulation. I hope that helps. A friend of mine had a BFN with her first IVF and she swears its because she didnt baby herself for the first few weeks... Dont be a couch potato but dont push anything, if you feel a little overheated or tired- Slow Down!

marynaz & Gina.... congrats on your BFP. So exciting. I really hope u have a happy & healthy 9 months.

Amanda.... I am so sorry about your result. I wish IVF was a guaranteed procedure but apparently it is not. I hope u and OH find cope in each other.

And to anyone else I missed... I am thinking of all of you.

As for myself. It is 10:15pm Tuesday night here... I am taking my HCG trigger shot tonight at 11:00pm. SO I am just up looking at post so that I wont fall asleep. I am so excited as my time has finally arrived. I do ER on Thursday 11/20 at 11:00 am. I went today for my US scan and told me tonight was the night to trigger. My uterus is at about 13mm thick... she lost count on my follies cuz they were getting huge. between 14mm - 20mm. On the left she counted about 8 and on the right about the same.

I am so excited ladies yet so scared. My OH is so excited too.... I am doing a 5 day ET so i guess I will be doing ET on the 25th.

Wish me luck ladies...
