Cocosmamma- since i am new to these boards what is PMA? I have seen it used in other threads i get the gist of what it means but can't figure out what it stands for I am feeling a lot better had a good weekend and Wednesday seems to be coming fast around- that is when i go back to check . Hey don't be too sure that you will be the last, you never know with my lining i just might be right behind you if my lining doesn't cooperate Hope not though but then again you never know....

Hanckney ! I am so excited for you, i feel like i am going in- wishful thinking right . I will be sending you stick vibes in the am... When should we expect to hear from you? will it be on Friday? Enjoy the 3 days of bed rest! I am actually looking forward to plopping myself on the couch and watch non stop TV! With My crazy schedule I never get to watch daytime TV and i miss it Just make sure to stock up on the snacks(healthy ones of course) and RELAX My thoughts will be with you tomorrow. BTW i was thinking of you yesterday- i made my DH hang 3 shevles for me from his Honey list - he wasn't too happy about doing it but it got him to smile so thank you it worked and i will be using it more often

I am back, both frosties made it through the unfreezing - woooooohooooo! Had a 4bb and a 5cb, they said they were pretty good! Go for my P4 test on Friday and my Beta on the 28th!!!

I am feeling very sick today. I am laying on the couch watching TV. My throat is sore and don't know what I can take for it. Anyway, I will be going to the RE tomorrow to check my lining hopefully good news.

Yes, we were a little worried about both making through the unfreezing but both did, I was so excited. Came home and took a 6 hours nap, feeling really good.

So, now we wait!

i'm back
I was sooooooooooo sick! I had 102 fever for 3 days!!! I was flat on my back on the couch not able to do anything but watch TV and eat. I had body aches, congestion in my nose and throat being a bit sore. I was really really sick- hadn't been that sick in more than 6-7 years! I am now on antibotics along with the estrace. I feel much better today. Still sick but i am able to get things done. I didn't even have the energy to get on the computer. I am sorry i was MIA! My Dh had to take care of everything - drop of our little guy to school and pick him up and run back and forth to work. Thanks goodness tomorrow we will be back to normal. Hopefully my little guy won't get what i had. DH seems to be getting it today though......

I went to check my lining on Wednesday- i still kept my appointment even though i had a high temp _ and my lining is only an 8! I don't understand why it is taking so long this time around. LAst FET iw was on the vivlle patches 1.5 mg and now i am taking the pills3-4 mgs and my linign is so low. I wonder if the patches are more effective? or if all these antiboitcs are affecting the lining. I now upped the dose to 4 mgs a day and go back to see the RE on Wednesday. I hope i am ready cause this is taking longer than i expected and i am getting frustrated.... I feel so bloated and fat! ok enough of me venting

Hey Ladies,

More than a week late and AF came this past wed. So I have started my estrace and accupuncture. I go for a lining check on Moday Dec. 2 (week from today) and transfer 2 weeks from today on Dec. 8th. We are thawing all 5 embies that we have left. I am hoping that at least 3 of them look really good.

Need your thoughts on this!!!!!!!

We we did our ER back in August the Doc who runs the lab said to do a 3 day transfer because we had 4 that looked perfect and the other 7 would not make it. We transfered 5 thinking it might give us a better chance and that 5th one was going to arrest anyway. Well we had a BFN AND 5 of the 6 we had left made it to blast. The Lab Doc said that they looked awful at day 3 (they thought that the embies would arrest) then on day 4 she said they turned around. What are the chances that they will turn out to be a successful pregnancy if they looked so bad to begin with? Have any of you heard anything like this?

Just need your thoughts on the matter.

Maybe your embies were fragmented and that is what the dr. meant when he said that they looked bad. If they made it to blast, they should be good enough to transfer.

I start my estrace this Wednesday and it looks like my thaw/fertilization will be 12/11 and then the ET on 12/14. i will confirm with my RE office this morning. We have 4 frozen eggs. I sure hope they all survive the thaw and fertilize. We will transfer all that make it.

Yesterday was my Transfer. I had 3 embroyos left from previous fresh cycles. They made it through the thaw. I had 2 5 or 6 cells rated a 2 then my good 8 cell was rated a 3 I thought they were better but my fingers are still crossed. I questioned my Dr.s partner as to why wasn't I doing PIO this cycle he said you don't need to this is a natural cycle. I said thats what I did last time and I did the PIO. He said no need. I wasn't complaining but if it worked last time why not? I did miscarriage but was it due to the PIO? My Husband said after they wheeled me away they were whispering so I really don't know who is right and who is wrong. SO please send your wishes and prayers over here. I really could use them. This will be my 5th time and its getting harder every time. I do put a brave face on and say we can do this until we get it right. But I don't know. This time it MUST work!!! You are all in my prayers and thoughts

That is wonderful news that all 3 embies made it through the thaw. Good luck with this cycle. I know it is very stressful during the 2ww. As others have said, you are pregnant until proven otherwise

I am wondering when I should reduce my caffeine intake, I started AF yesterday and will begin Estrace on Wed. My ultrasound is scheduled for 12/08 and my transfer is tentatively scheduled for 12/12. I need my morning java, but tried to limit my caffeine intake during previous cycles. Any input would be great.

DNT- CRossing everything for you! You an hackney are on the 2 ww together! I wish you both lots and lots of baby dust and may your embies stick! Make sure to keep positive and relax,take it easy. I know this is the worst part, not knowing but you made it through and your embies thawed out well! That is what i am worried about, i have 4 left ans we will be transfering 2 don't know when though, i will know more on wednesday.
I am excited for you both!!!!

Brenda- don't be discouraged, anything really is possible. My friend did a FET and she only had one embie left it made the thaw and it was only a 4 cell i think but i know for sure the grade was not good at all and she did the transfer and she got her BFP and now her son is 18 months- goreous little boy. Keep the faith..... Can't your re thaw out a few embies at a time to see the quality or do you just want to thaw and but back all 5 and not save some for later Just in case? whatever your decision is i am sure it will be the right one, just trust your gut....

Hackney - thinking of you girl. let us know how you are feeling, you are almost a week since tranfer! Wow that went fast but not fast enough for you i am sure

teachertam- i switched to decaf cause i LOVE my coffee and could't give it up all the way. The one i recommend is chocks full o nuts decaf. that is what i have at home and i even serve it to friends and family that come over and i don't tell them it is decaf and always get compliments on the coffee from them HEHEHEHEHE. i but if you can't resist, i am sure one small cup a day won't do any harm just make sure you watch your caffeine intake with sodas and chocolate......

Teachertam- I don't drink alot of caffeine ( try to stick to water or caffeine free diet coke) But my down fall is chocolate!!!! I love it. I do try to limit to very small amount only every other day or so once I start AF. Hey everyone with Thanksgiving coming what do you all think about the effects of wine on my cycle ( not due to transfer until 12/8) I didn't know if it stays in your system like caffeine or not. What do you think?

Hello Ladies,

Had my P4 tested on Friday and it was low at a 9, they scrambled around to find a pharmancy that carried endometrim and finally found one. So now I am on the 'butt' shots and endometrim 100mg 2 times a day.

Beta is Friday but I started cramping on Saturday and it has continued. It's like my body wants AF to come but the drugs aren't letting that happen.

About to lose my mind in this freakin' 2ww!!! Even though my hopes at this point are low. I will take a HPT on Thanksgiving just see.

hackney- don't get all in the dumps keep faith maybe this endomitrium is doing the trick. Is 9 very very low? I am not familiar what it should be since i have never gone in for a progesterone check after the transfers that i have had in the past. try to stay positive it is not over til its over! there is always that chance that it took so see what happens in the next couple of days and maybe the extra endomitrium will get your levels higher. maybe the cramping is implanation??? anything is possible right? Did you RE say anything else? Praying for you!
