Wow - How exciting that we have started to give birth! CONGRATULATIONS Sara - you must be SO relieved to have them here and both recovering from the birth well but as you say desperate to get home. I was in hospital for a week with my first baby (not long I know compared to others) but it drove me mad. I just wanted to get out of there!
And how exciting Karen - so really anytime now - make sure you have plenty of naps if possible.
Heather - Hi - yes I know what you mean - I have 33 days left - which feels like a LONG time - I'm sure it will fly by but I am ready to go now! Sounds very good that you're 2cm dilated already that's a fifth of the way there!
Love Vicky

It's so exciting thta we are all so close! We have just about 2 weeks left as they will take him at 39 weeks. I am so ready to have this little guy. I feel huge and he dropped 2 weeks ago and is just in an uncomfortable position.
I wish everyone a safe & healthy delivery and can't wait to hear the news!
Thanks ladies.
I know the end of preg is so hard, you will feel so great soon!
I cant believe I am already forgetting all the aches and pains. Only 9 days out!!!
Scarlett and Lucy are doing great and we are hoping to go home by Fri or Sat. I will post some pics then!
Thinking about all of you, this is so exciting!!!
Sara
Awesome news Sara! I know that you can hardly wait to get Scarlett and Lucy home. What day did you get your cerclage removed? My cerclage was successfully removed yesterday. I thought that it was going to be so painful, but it wasn't. I was afraid that we were going to go immediately into labor, but we didn't. So, we are now waiting it out until next Wednesday.
Sara, have a wonderful time with your new babies. I would love to see pics when you are able to send some.
Remember me!! I started out the journey with you and later decided to follow you in March.
Congratulations on the safe arrival of your little ones!!! The names are so beautiful and I am sure as beautiful as the kids themselves. Can't wait to see their pics.
Hugs to all the Dec Moms!!!
Can't wait to hear ya'll news.
We are still hanging in here. I went for a BPP this morning. We are scheduled for the c-section tomorrow morning. We can hardly wait to meet our little ones. How are you?
WOW How exciting! I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight! Loads of Luck for tomorrow - not that you'll need luck of course. Don't forget to take lots of tissues for all the tears - I balled my head off after I had had Oliver! It's SO weird isn't it to think this time tomorrow you'll have them with you! I'll be thinking of you - let us know how it all goes.
I'm feeling a bit low today - grumpy and irritable and anxious about the birth. I have been advised to try a natural birth after my C.section last time and I have stupidly been reading horror stories online about things that can go wrong - didn't mean to but got sucked into one site that had people's experiences - anyway what will be will be - there is really nothing I can do about it - I would just like to get on with it now. Anyway enough about me.
I can't wait to hear how it all goes so take care and relax tonight - you probably won't get much sleep for a while after tonight! Love Vicky

Karen - I'm super excited for you. I hope everything goes well today.l Thinking about you and your little ones. Can't wait to hear your birth story.
Vicky - I'm sorry that you're feeling so down. I can totally relate. When is your next appointment? Are you dilated at all? Why does the dr want you to have a natural birth after having a C-section???
Sara - how are Scarlette & Lucy? Are they home? how are you feeling?
Jennie - What is your delivery date? Are you being induced or having a c-section? how are you feeling?
Well I'm dilated to 3 and 90% effaced. I have contractions on and off every day. I'm super anxious!! I'm measuring 'big' so my induction is scheduled for December 9th. I'm hoping to go into labor before then. My next appointment is Monday which she will strip my membranes. This waiting is killing me!! I'm super organized so everything is done. I even have all of my xmas shopping done, wrapped and ready to put under the tree.
Sorry for being so out of touch...but I do have a great excuse. Our triplets were born on Oct. 4th at exactly 30 weeks. We just brought them all home together this past Saturday Nov. 22 and they are 37 weeks 4 days gestational age today.
Sophie Grey - 2 lbs. 14.3 oz.
Logan Scott - 2 lbs. 14 oz.
Kahne David - 3 lbs. 2.6 oz.
We spent 7 long weeks in the NICU but we had very healthy babies with very few issues to worry about. Prematurity related breathing, but only on ventilators for 2 days and CPAP fpr 3 days. We just had to let them "cook" and grow longer in the isolets. I stayed at the Ronald McDonald House the entire time and spend every minute I could with them at the hospital.
They came home at:
Sophie Grey - 5 lbs. 8 oz.
Logan Scott - 4 lbs. 13 oz.
Kahne David - 6 lbs. 8 oz.
We did have a major setback with Logan on day 8, but it was the hospitals error and not his little bodies. The PICC line (peripheralli inserted central catheter) perforated his pericardium and surrounded his heart with his lipids (food), which stopped his heart. The nurse put him on a ventilator immediately and started chest compressions. All the medical team got there and continued chest compressions for 75 minutes total. The nurse had pulled the PICC line outabout 15 minutes in after she had a "feeling" that it could be causing the problem. The doctor stuck a needle in his heart and drained the fluid, but they could still not get his heart started. I was called and rushed over at about 20 minutes into all of this and had to watch my son dying. The doctor asked permission to stop resue attempts and I gave it. He then showed me xrays of the line and what the exact problem was. He then went over to little Logan and put his stethocope to him to pronounce him dead...but my little fighter decided to start his own heart after 8 minutes of no compressions. One blip showed up on the screen and then two more. The medical staff started working on him again and his little heart kept beating. He was in critical condiition for 10 days and slowly began to get better and then just seemed to take a huge turn and began getting better very quickly.
I know many people would say that this was the grace of God that brought him back to me, but I actually prayed to my grandparents as I was watching all of this and I prayed "Please take care of my little baby for me, but I would really like it if you would not take him yet and give him back to me" They always loved me so much that they listened and sent him back to me to love and take care of.
Now we will just watch all three babies developmentally, especially Logan, and let them grow into healthy happy babies. Right now everyone is doing well and my husband is downstairs with them feeding.
I hope everyone si doing well and I will go back and read all the posts to get current on everuone situations.
Heather - Wow - HOw exciting to be having contractions every day and 3 cm dilated already - you are so nearly there! It will be great to have a week or so before Christmas to get over the labour etc. Let us know as soon as anything happens!
In the UK they are really promoting natural births after c.sections. I think they are trying to get large numbers of c.sections down and have researched much more the risks involved and feel it is okay to try. Doesn't stop you worrying though of course!
Tamara - Oh my Goodness what a terrifying time you've had - I'm SO glad your baby boy is doing fine now. What an absolutely dreadful experience to go through - you must have been beside yourself! Thank God he is as you say such a fighter - he obviously has a great purpose here.
I hope everyone else is doing okay and that we hear from you soon Karen - I do hope all is well with you.
Love Vicky
