Well my doses are max. Doing 450 of gonal f and 150 of menopur, but just changed the menopur to 225 as I added the ganerelix (which suppresses you and stops ovulation).

I will hopefully have awesome news tomorrow!

I had my 3dt 11/11...when do you think I could start HPT with accurate results? I'm the 41 yr. old with 5 embies. My husband's birthday is tomorrow and my daughter's on Monday the 24th. It would be so cool to get a BFP to correspond with one of those dates. I'm due to go for beta 11/26. My friends are telling me to NOT do a HPT. When I went through IVF 7 years ago I took a HPT and it came up BFN and I ended up being prego. This is such an emotional rollercoaster. If you ask me one minute if I think I'm prego, the answer is absolutely. Ask me 10 minutes later and I'm positive I'm not. Ugh. Thanks for your responses.

Let's see a 3 dt on the 11th puts you 12 DPO today. You could test tonight!!

Don't worry Renee your eggs will not be any different in March. You need to do whatever works out best otherwise. I need to get into shape and drop about 10 lbs. I finally joined a gym and worked out for the first time last night. It was the first time in about 3 years. My husband works out everyday and is in great shape and i am a squishy old lady. I have got to get it together.

Kris, you could test anytime. Like Lynnie said you are 12dpo. But how will the results affect you if they are not positive? Will you be so distraught it ruins you daughter's b-day? It is still a little early so you might test negative and really be pregnant. Just think it through before you do it. Just my 2 cents worth.

Lynnie, i can't wait until tomorrow. Let us know asap.

Elida does your doc say 2 or 3 are cooking?

And Kris, its true what Kelly says. I found that even when I was sure it was negative, seeing that negative on the test was horrible. One time I tested at 9 DPO, negative, I started spotting that night, tested at 10 DPO, negative and a lot more bleeding. I told everyone it failed and was so distraught. Then just decided to test one more time at 12 DPO and guess what it was a +. I was actually in vegas with DH and my brother and his wife. We were leaving that morning, so I tested just in case it was a + so I could tell them n person.

But you say u has a negative HPT before that was a BFP later be beta. So it sounds like you can handle it. If I were you, I would test tomorrow AM first thing when you get up and then celebrate DH's bday in style. That is just me though! I do not have to deal with the anguish of a dreaded BFN.

Sense you think it might have worked, I feel positive for you!

Renee -- I totally know what you mean about waiting the the clock ticking. I flew to MD to do another cycle as I did not want to wait for workups at a new clinic. CCRM insists on a clomid challenge test and I did not want to waste a month, not to mention, I would then wait another month to to get the clomid out of my system.

But I have a year and half on you having turned 42 in July. Many clinics draw a line at 42 which means once the clock strikes 43 you are done. So given that, you still have time! I do not think March is going the change things from what they are in Feb. On the other hand, is it that you are nervous about starting in Feb? If its nerves and fear, we can help you with that, talk you through it, etc.

Kris, I think it is far enough past transfer to take it. I would take the first response, it detects a beta of as low as 12.. I used it 4dp5dt and got my 1st BFP...

Kelly, The doctor does not want to say based on my beta what he thinks about how many, however they did say those numbers could likely be more then 1.......... Guess they are covering themselves....I really dont care as long as my girls are healthy I am Happy..

Good things is my US is 12/1 and I will be busy this week preparing for Thanksgiving, since the kids will be by us this year... I love the Holidays, the kids no matter how old they get are so excited.... Nice to see the children in them come out.... Especially my 21 yr old daughter...

Ladies, I got brave and took an HPT today, 10dp3dt and it's a BFP!!! It's my husband's birthday and we're cautiously excited! I called my ER to change my beta from next Wed the 26th to Mon the 24th as that's my DD's birthday. They congratulated me but cautioned that my numbers may still be low on Monday. When I did IVF 7 years ago, I had beta done 14days after egg retrieval, now they wait til 18 days past ET. Does anyone else have to wait that long? With my DD my numbers were so high they thought I might have had multiples, but we didn't. Just wanted to share and tell everyone there is hope and God answers prayers

Thanks, too, for the advice to go for it and take the HPT!

Krisnerol, I am very excited for you...

I had my Beta 10dp5dt and my beta was 405 2 days later is was 924.. I am awaiting my results this afternoon of beta #3 another 2 days later...

This is torture.. I got a BFP 4dp5dt on a HPT. However my embies were hatching when transfered and my RE said they would start implanting in a just a few hours since they were so far along...

I think 14 days is way to long to wait, I think they just want to see how much torture we women can handle...

I look forward to hearing your Beta numbers on Monday and Happy Birthday to DH and to DD...

Question to everyone,
If the IVF fails when do you know when to expect AF. Does all of the stims make it late. Have any of you got AF before you were to have the beta? Thanks.
