I did my ET today. We only transferred two instead of three. I can't loose babies again. I am hopeful but my embies are really fragmented, basically, they are duplicating but then several sells are also dying. Something is wrong with either my bad eggs or my husband's bad sperm. However, for it to happen to all of them makes me believe my 31 year old eggs are bad.

I did have two that looked decent at 8 cell B quality and 7 cell A- quality (not sure what the minus means but can't be good) Anyway, the other 7 were 6 celled C quality. The Dr said they wouldn't survive freezing most likely but I frooze three as per my ARC contract, its already paid for. They pushed to discard all of them but I stood up for them. If this doesn't work I have a frozen chance in hell...pardon the expression.

Babyhope, still hoping...

Well ladies.. I had my ER today. I am now at home recovering from these bad cramps.

I survived my ER but it didnt turn out as great as we expected. :( I had 17 follicles but only 4 had eggs in them. So my dr. is going to work with 4 eggs only. They dont know what went wrong. They did some more bloodwork. Well, tomorrow I will get the call to see if any fertilized. I am so devastated. My PMA was so high in the sky and now it is at ground level. I mean, I still have a chance right?

Well, now I just lay here waiting for my call tomorrow and with my fingers crossed.

Lady_j,
I know four is not many and disappointing, but many people on here got pregnant with only one or two. I only had two to fertilized and I am in my 2ww. So don't hang up the towel yet. Good luck to you.

Hey Everyone-

Well I heard from my RE and 11 eggs fertilized out of 25. I am a bit disappointed although trying to remain as positive as possible. I realize that is still a good number but it is identical to last time and I am so fearful that we will end up witht the same outcome. Also some other concerns were raised today since I have a hydro (fluid in the blocked tube), but all we can do is keep positive. I am praying hard that my little embies are doing okay. Since my retrieval yesterday my hormones have been out of control, literally from tears to smiles in seconds. If I end up wtih a Day 5 transfer we will be going back on Monday.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of you. This really is such a rollercoaster and we should be proud of ourselves for pushing through it.

Wishing everyone happy thoughts of BFP's!!!!

Crashing your thread.

Elida~ Much congratulations to you and DH on your big BFP! I'm so happy for you! Sounds like a healthy pregnancy going there! I know it's twins and you know it too. You are a very sweet, supportive woman and a big asset to these boards! Enjoy it!!! :D

Chris~ I feel so bad for you that you are having such a tough time with your cycle. What can they do to reduce the size of that follicle? Could you get off the Lupron and have AF and hopefully it will take care of that follie. Is that possible? One way or the other, it will soon work out for you. You are a strong person, determined and very supportive. I wish I had a magic wand and make it all go away for you. I'm sorry.

JDC~ I was in the same predicament during my last cycle with a lead follie. What my doctor thought of doing was to let the bigger follie develop and possibly lose the egg that was in it in order to let the other develop to maturity. I didn't want to get canceled as I felt that my future baby was among one of those. It turned out that all the follies had eggs even the lead on which was around 22/23 mm. Would your RE do something like that? I wish you the best and will keep checking on you.

Big, giant hugs to all. Congrats to all the BFP on this thread, it is truly a joy to see.

Val
I know how you're feeling right now and it's not easy to go through all that. Every day we wonder how the follies are doing.

hi ladies, i'm very tired tonight; so forgive me if this post misses much of what's going on...

amanda, melo and jules...i'm so incredibly sorry for your negative results.. i hope you listen to the voice deep within you that can provide you hope and perseverance.. i'm thinking of you tonight.

and ny- i'm so sad to hear about your beta...i've not given up on this yet- i want to hear about your beta tomorrow before i'm prepared to let it go.. i feel for you right now and wish i could give you a hug.

gina- congratulations! how wonderful for you. all the best and look forward to hearing more positive news from you.

jdc- i sure hope those other 3 do some good work for you tonight! grow follies grow! i imagine you're very scared right now and i wish i could hug you too.

jan and ladyj. it's hard when we dont get what we hope for out of fertilization..and especially to you ladyj- having 4 good embies is enough to get you a baby. i'm pg right now and had only 5 mature eggs, only 4 fertilize... 2 are implanted now (and hopefully growin into twins) and 2 are frozen..i hope the same happens to you.

chris- i'm so praying you don't get cancelled next week. and despite the hangover i hope you had fun last night.

bell, congrats on FET! and babyhope-hang in there...you are a fighter and i believe your embies are too.

as for me- had another beta test but no results yet!! what a lesson in patience..good thing i m too exhausted to be pissed off about it.

i'm sooo tired. must go. love to all, karen ps. i'll try to update the board soon, but if someone else feels inspired- have at er

Hello to all. I haven't posted in a couple of days. I am growing tired of the 2ww already but I am trying to hang in there.

to_have_fun08 Good to see that you are hanging in there and staying positive. I hope that everything works out for you and that your cycle doesn't get canceled.

Amanda, Melo_P and Jules sorry to hear about your BFN. I can't say that I know how you feel since this is my 1st cycle but I do pray that all of you get through and don't give up. Although I do know how financially draining and emotionally draining it can be. Stay optimistic that the next time will be your time.

Congratulations Gina and Grateful on your BFP!

bell_02 Good luck and I am glad that your little embie fought through and I know that it will continue to fight!

N4thtry Sorry to hear about your CP. Try to stay positive and I wish you all the best with the next cycle! If I am not mistaken, I think you have some frozen??? I'm not sure if I am correct but if you do, that makes it a little easier.

Rosario Good luck with your b/w Saturday.

babyhope1 Congratulations on ET and good luck in your 2ww!

wonderce I see with that your 3rd beta is 10 times more than your 2nd, is it possibly twins??? :)

JDC Do keep your head up and try to stay positive. In one day those follies can catch up and I hope they will.

Mrscutter I hope your 2ww is going well. I think we have our betas on the same day 11/26. I don't know about you but the suspense is really getting to me!

Lady_J Congrats on ER but sorry to hear that you are cramping. :( I hope you feel better. And try not to worry because you sitll have a chance with 4 and I hope that all of them fertilize.

If I missed any BFNs I hope that you're doing ok. To any BFPs I may have missed CONGRATULATIONS.
Lots of good luck, sticky badby dust & BFP to all.

Mrs Cutter... u r giving me alot of hope. U did it with 2 and here I am worried. Many congrats on your PG, I really do hope u have a blessed PG. I guess I am just worried that none will fertilize... i wait for the call tomorrow. Thank u.

Karen... It would be lovely to have 2 in your oven right now... congrats to you as well. I hope and pray that all 4 fertilize so I figure, I will also transfer 2 and if it dont work then I will try the next 2 on a FET. and if it dont work, then its back to the drawing board. I just hope my insurance will cover another cycle. Thank you again karen... and dont worry, we understand u r exhausted.

Wishing for blessings.... Thank u for the PMA... I still feel cramping. How long is the cramping normal for? I have been taking tylenol all day. It's not as bad as it was right after the ER, but the cramping is still there. TMI... but I am starting to beleive its more gas than anything. My mom said it may be that alot of air entered as they had me stirred up and I am noticing alot of gas passing thru and feeling relief. Sorry TMI. Or it may just be the Tylenol kicking in.

Once again, thank u all ladies for making my PMA rise again. Once I get my call tomorrow, i hope to be high in the sky again.

Gina & Grateful... Congrats on your BFP. U r blessed.

Good Morning Ladies,

Gina congratulations on the confirmation of your BFP

To all our BFN - I am so sorry, I wish it would have been a better turn out for you, just remember everything happens for a reason, I know it doesnt make sense now, but hopefully it will later - I know that probably doesnt help, but I am thinking of you ladies.

Well I went in this morning for my first ultrasound and blood test. I was told that my uterus is tipped (which she said isnt a bad thing) and that my one ovary is really high and that they will have to watch it because they may not be able to get any eggs from it since it is up so high :x the other one looks good so hopefully that will be a big performer for me. Now I just wait to hear from the nurse this afternoon to see what meds I take today.
