acronyms -need help

Hiya,
Can anyone please direct me to the place where I can understand all the shorthand that's used in this site -eg DH, BCP etc? Would be very helpful as can only partly decipher messages at the mo.

hi there and welcome! the General Forum has a Sticky list of all of the abreviations (or most anyway) it takes some getting used to - but you'll know them in no time!

Hi Verity & Peter-
I find the Sticky thread overwhelming so I'll fill you in on a few abbreviations:
BCP = birth control pills
BFP= big fat positive
BFN = big fat negative
hpt = home pregnancy test
dh = dear husband
dp = dear partner
ER = egg retrieval
ET = egg transfer

thought of a few more:

ttc = trying to conceive
AF = aunt flow, period
2ww = two week wait
pma = positive mental attitude
pupo = pregnant until proven otherwise
