Steph: We are getting the monthly RSV shots which helps put my mind at ease. We had to go to the hospital last night because she was breathing so fast and wheezing so bad and you could see her ribs when she breathed in, so I took her in and she had a temp of 100.3. They did an xray and it was clear...they just put her on steroids to help with her breathing so hard...

Lauralou~ It was sooooo great to see your post! I agree with Kim that we need a pic. You know I'm a sucker for the identicals! Can't blame you for wanting the tubes tied. Who would have thought right? My OB said it could happen but in all honesty I really didn't believe him totally. Guess I was wrong!
Also, glad to hear your little ones jabber but don't say too much for real either. Mine really try to say things and they talk ALL day. . .or yell, but we can only make out a few things. They ran around saying "Yes" forever but this morning my little guy said "no" for the first time. Uh-oh!

Kim~ Thanks for checking out the blog. I don't keep up on it as well as I should but my family loves to go check out the babies. Wish I was better at taking pictures but I'll settle for what I get! About the car, now I wish I had went even bigger! The Tahoe was great for the family of 4 and 1 dog but since my center row is 2 captains chairs I am going to have to crawl in the back and strap one of my kids in. Plus, now with even one third row seat in my BOB stroller won't fit???? UGH!!!!! I cannot trade this thing in either. I HATE spending money on cars and just cannot stomach doing it again. Gives me anxiety to even think about it!

Suga~ Sorry to hear about the hospital trip last night. Ihope she is alright now.Keep us posted for sure dear!

better run. I have two little ones that should be napping but instead they are screaming back and forth at each other and I hear that they are jumping in their cribs. It's pretty funny and they are having a good time but if we miss our nap completely then I'll be the one to pay.

Have a great day!

Hi Suga, sorry to hear your daughter is sick. I hope she feels better soon... I can't believe your babies are 9 lbs already. Great job. I hear around 10 lbs babies start sleeping through the night. It sounds like it's going to happen to you very soon!

Kimberly, one baby is a good thing! That's what I was worried about, too, beause I took a blood test and they told me my numbers were high. I went back to my IVF clinic because my friend recommended me to go back there. I didn't even think but I guess I could have had some hormonal problem because of my tubes. Anyway, turns out, the nurse there said my progesteron level is a little low. So, they put me on the progesterone capsuls until 12 weeks. So, it might not hurt for you to check with your IVF clinic?? I am so excited for you. Your baby will be two month behind. I understand your dilemma about your embies. I used up all mine also like Kim, so luckily I don't have to deal with it. About the car config, I put Sean in the third row by himself and twins in the middle. I guess I have to put one of the twins in the back with Sean when the baby comes. We just have to see which one is more likely to fight with Sean and decide that way.

Steph, I definitely have twin skin. I was not lucky at all. It is really sad looking and my belly looks like old woman's. I will have to get some kind of cosmetic help in the future after this baby is born.

Kim, you are so lucky to not have the twin skin! I've always been a skinny person, but that did not help at all. My husband is 6'2" and my babies were way too big for me, I think. I am only 5'4".

I am 15 weeks this week. I've announced the pregnancy in my English and Japanese blogs. My employer might find out that way as my colleagues are starting to discover. I will wait one more week, I think because the work is very busy right now. I guess I am just putting it off.
Anyway, my Aly is fussing so I have to go.

tolbee: I do not think I said congrats yet even though I have meant to! So, if I have not said it, CONGRATS! haha. Yay for 15 weeks! I am so happy for the both of you!!! I hope 10 lbs is the majic number! haha. I dunno about my little Mackenzie though. Brooke I can see her going through the night.

The twin skin is nasty! I have it! I can not put on old pants because that fat is still there too. I have a doctor appt. on Wed so I am hoping that he puts me back on metformin to help with regulating my cycle (PCOS). Plus that will help with my insulin levels and help me lose weight. I wish there was just a happy pill that made you lose all the weight! haha. Fertility drugs is what made me gain most of it though. But, I have to admit, it was worth it!!

I think Brooke has allergies. I am going to go out and buy an air purifier to see if that helps any. She always wakes up with puffy eyes and sneezes A LOT. So if that helps great! We do live in an old apartment and there is mold, dust, pet dander, etc. I can not wait till May when we move to our house!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks Sugar! Hope Brooke's allergies get better with air purifier. poor thing... You know my twins didn't sleep through the night until 3 month of age. I am sure yours will very soon!

Well, Aly and Noah had their 9 month well check yesterday.
Alyson
Height 29 inches 95%
Weight 21 lbs and 13 ounces 90%
Noah
Height 29 3/4 inches 90%
Weight 21 lb 6 ounces

Noah feels much heavier than Alyson, but the scale said otherwise. Surprised about that. I bought Britax carseats the other day online as they have officially outgrown their Snug Ride. We'll just save one of them for the new baby.
For those of you with new baby. There is this new vaccine for Rotovirus (stomach bug) and it is only available for infants under 3 months of age. I wanted to have my toddler and babies get one but they are too old for it. If your newborn has older siblings who goes to daycare etc... it probably is a good thing to get. My toddler suffered a nasty stomach bug last winter and he became very weak and miserable. He couldn't even stay sitting down...

Anyway, hope everyone's donig well! Its raining and raining in Seattle and it is very depressing!

Tolb: I think Mackenzie weighs more than Brooke yet the scale says different as well. Just their build I suppose!

Brooke is getting better. Still has the wheeze but she will eventually out grow it when she gets to feeling better. I do not want to jinx myself but there have not been projectile vomits in like 2 weeks! The rice cereal really has helped! But I still feel bad for Brooke because she has heart burn bad. I mean it hurts her coming up and she gets the thick spit along with her. Wakes her up sometimes. Poor thing! So they got her the stronger acid blocker to help out with it so hopefully that helps.

The girls get their Christmas pictures tomorrow so that will be fun. Hopefully they take great naps so they are awake at night for them (I did them early evening when they are usually awake). So I have to get them to nap well tomorrow! Hopefully I can push back their feeding time by 30 minutes because we will be there when they are supposed to be eating and they really are on an eating schedule. They know when they are supposed to eat. It is crazy.

I do not know if I have said this over here but Brooke is socially smiling!!! I am so happy! So she is right with her sister and wanting to look at mommy and smile! (daddy too!) She also coos now too so it is nice to know she is not far behind. Today Mackenzie laughed! Really laughed! It was too cute.

Steph: TOO CUTE! Adorable! Congrats again!!!

Ladies, ok the girls have been sleeping in their car seats cause of the reflux. Mackenzie is TONS better in that area so I am going to transition her back to the crib. I tried during one nap today. She fell asleep before I put her in there and once she was lying in there she woke up! Is it because she is used to just being so tucked into her car seat? How am I going to break them of this?! Any ideas/suggestions? I am going to start with naps during the day then move to the night stuff.

Steph, awwe your babies are so cute! They look a lot alike, coloring and such, don't they? My twins looked completely different from birth. Congratulations! Enjoy every stage because they do grow up so fast!

Suga, maybe you could elevate the crib by raising head part of the mattress with a rolled up towel or something and swaddle your babies? I don't know how else to break them from the carseat habit. But then they do adopt very quickly to the new setting, if you are willing to let them cry it out. Good to hear that Brook is getting better! It really is tough when a baby is sick...

All three kids are sick with cold right now. Noah might have an ear infection because he is very fussy and he keeps hitting his head (?) Sean's cold is getting better but now of course the twins are sick. It's impossible to keep them from not getting each other's sickness. I am sick, too, but I can hold up. I just feel bad for the babies.

Any plans for the Turkey Day? We were planning to go to our friend's house but with everyone being sick, we are thinking we may stay low this year. I am not a big fun of turkey, so thinking of buying a roasted duck or something. Haven't decided yet.

Anyway, hope everyone else is healthier than us now!

tolbee: I have a little wedge that goes on top of the mattress but under the sheet. They usually slide down it tho. I am going to go to Target today to look at wedges.

The girls are totally on a different nap schedule. I mean it is not horrible because I am up anyways and they entertain themselves pretty much in the swing or bouncer BUT it is annoying! When one wants to sleep the other is WIDE awake. At least they go to bed at the same time! So hopefully when they are a little older we can work out a nap routine that they both will do. (like 10AM and 3PM or something like that).

It is too cute though! Now they see themselves in the mirror and start to smile at themselves and "ohhh" "ahhhh" themselves. So they really are not that far behind! Gestation ally they are right on track!

Oh, have you ever noticed if you babies are backed up that they will not eat? Mackenzie needs to poop majorly but she only ate like an ounce at this past meal...so Kayro it is for now suppository if it does not happen later today.

Hi Suga, yeah I notice decrease in appetite when they are constipated. Noah's constipated and doctor suggested giving him Miralax. I mix it with pear juice. I put it into a sippy cup so he dosnt' drink much though...
My twins initially was on a different schedule but they feed and nap around the same time now. As long as they wake up around the same time in the morning, I think your babies will start to follow a similar schedule.

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? We are all sick so had to cancel plans with friends. It's ok, we had a nice relaxing time at home. Mike went and got some Chinese food from Chinatown. Too bad I couldn't taste anything. My senses are gone from being sick. I feel sluggish and lazy.

Cannot believe it's December already. My Mom is going to come and visit on Christmas day so looking forward to that. And on 29th, we'll have the second level ultrasound and we are able to find the baby's gender!

Anyway, I better get busy and do a chore while babies nap!

Hope you are having a nice Thanksgiving day!

Suga, have you tried the incline pillows at babysrus. They don't like wedge them up too high but it seems to help mine. They have only thrown up recently when they have eaten too much or I hve jostled them too soon. Nothing when they were laying down. Course it is hard to cosleep them next to each other because in the bassinet they hve to lay on opposite ends. I try to put them in their swings or cribs during the day. My ped actually recommended the car seat for the reflux though.

Steph: I have noticed that Kenzie is a lot better during the day cause she is up for at least 30 min after she eats and then will go to bed in her crib on her back! But at night I am still keeping her in the car seat cause I can hear it trying to come up. Brooke will be in the car seat for awhile though because she still has it bad.

As for me, we went to my moms house for Thanksgiving. Next year, all of the holidays will be at our house. No joke! I am never doing this again! It was just a pain in the butt and too much stuff to drag along. But of course, thankful for the girls.

Pissed off about insurance though! I did not know I had to tell my fertility clinic about a secondary insurance so all my IVF claims were DENIED! So I had to submit the claims to the other insurance company and ask for letters of denial (not late filed claims) to send to the other insurance company to see if they will still file the claim and pay for it. If not, we owe like $10,000. We do not have that kind of money! So please pray that the other insurance company gives me those letters of denial and Aetna accepts them late and pays the claim! Otherwise, we are screwed.
