DeeStar,

Someone also recommended that book to me however when I tried to find it on Amazon there were a lot of books with that title so I wasnt sure which one it was. Who is the author? Are you enjoying it so far?

DeeStar... I've never read the book; but I have the DVD. It was motivational; but it seemed a little "sales-y". And many of the examples in the DVD were money-oriented. Not sure how similar the book is; but I did feel like it was good to hear at least once to get you in the right frame of mind. I do believe in positive thinking and my RE is really into that, too. I'm hoping our PMA will help us with some BFPs!!

Annie973... I would tell you who the author is but it doesn't even say a name on the DVD cover...how odd. I believe the book has a picture of a red wax seal on the cover- same as the DVD.

I go for an appt. tomorrow and should be starting on lupron, too. I'm so excited! Stimming is soon to come.

Hi everyone! I'm back from vacay - I'm happy to be home, but I sure miss the sunshine and warmth back here in Chicago  .

Looks like there has been a lot of activity while I've been gone - where is everyone at with their cycles? I can post an update to 'the list'. I am still 11 days away from stimming and I used the time on my vacay to relax and due yoga. I'm feeling great so I hope I can keep this up!

Welcome to all who have joined!!!!!!!!!

Hi all. I just went in for my baseline u/s and there is a great chance that i will have to cancel this cycle. My lining is still too thick and my nurse believes that can be a problem. It's at a 9.5  Which--in my case--means that I have to wait until December's AF (end of the month) to begin this crap all over again. A month of bcps and Lupron all over again. Shoot. :( I am really just ready to relax. It seems since I've started this process in August, I have been holding my breath. I know it'll happen for me, but I just have to hold my breath a tad bit longer than i had anticipated. I was supposed to start stims on Thursday. :? My nurse will give me a call sometime today to give me the results of the b/w. She said hopefully my E2 is not high. If it is...then my cycle #2 will begin in January. My fingers are crossed that we can proceed as scheduled.

ann d. - Thanks I think I have seen this book on Amazon...I believe they have some cheap used copies. I could use some positive enforcement in my life!!

Sprouthaus - Hope you had a great vacation! I know I start stimming on 11/28. My estimated ER is 12/9 and ET on 12/14.

JennJenn - I'm sorry to hear that you might have to cancel...that must be so frustrating. Hopefully you will be able to go forward this month....if not at least it will be one less thing to worry about during the holidays!

Thanks Annie973. Well, i just received some good news! We can proceed on schedule!!!! Even though my lining is thick, my e2 level is 14. Which i guess is good. (????) According to my RE, we will continue on the track as planned. He said he is not concerned with the lining becasue AF is still in town and the lining may shrink throughout the week.

Annie973, you are one step ahead of me. I start stims on Nov. 27 (this thursday) and my ER is 12/10 ET 12/15. This is a huge sigh of relief! My appointment was this morning at 9:00a.m. (central standard time) it is now 12:30pm and I have been holding my breath waiting on the dreaded call. :D I can now relax.

JennJenn - GOOD NEWS on your bloodwork. I'm so happy that you can move forward. I had a cycle cancelled only once - but it seemed as devastating as a BFN.

Annie973 - Good luck starting stims on Thanksgiving! Looks like you are the first one out of the starting blocks :D

sprouthaus... Welcome back! Thank you for making the list of our dates. It's very helpful to see who's where in their cycle.

JennJenn... That's wonderful news that your cycle is going as scheduled! What are relief it must be to know you can proceed.

wishing4baby and annie973... Looks like you two will be up first. How exciting for you two! I'm jealous. I just want to know right away if this is going to work for me.

Well, we're leaving for Texas tomorrow afternoon to spend Thanksgiving with my parents and sister. I'm excited to spend it with my family. If I don't get a chance to come online, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know I will be thankful for having a wonderful DH, parents, sister, and a safe home to go to!

I am glad to see that you all are starting soon :) Good luck to you all and I will be hoping for BFP from all of you. I on the other hand still have to wait till my Jan 7 appt to decide when we will be doing the FET.

Hope you all have a great relaxing Thanksgiving.

Barb D, sorry you have to wait until Jan, but it will come quick. FETs are so much easier too.

Ann d, I hope you have a wonderful trip. I agree with you that we have to be thankful for the wonderful things we have, like family. Sometimes we get wrapped up in what we don't have yet (BABIES), that we lose sight of the great blessings we do have in our lives.

Sprouthaus, welcome back and thanks for posting the update.

JennJenn, so glad to hear that you can proceed as scheduled.

To everyone else, hope you are all hanging in there as we wait for our cycles and transfers to get going. The wait is painful, but hopefully BFPs are just a few weeks away for us all.

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I had a small set back today. I can't start stimming because my estrogen levels were to high. This has never happened to me before! Hopefully they will be normal tomorrow. I have to go back in the morning and have bloodwork done again.

We had a little bit of a set back to. My father in law is in the hospital on life support. :(

I was suppose to have my baseline ultrasound Wed. and then we pushed it up to Fri and now we have stopped everything all together. The Dr is afraid that all of the stress from what is going on will take a toll on getting pregnant so they suggested that I wait until my next cycle. We are really disappointed ........ but I would rather wait to make sure we have a better chance.

When a baby is born at the hospital they play a lullaby and it was so sad to know that in one part of the hospital there were people rejoicing because life was being brought into the world and the other side people were mourning because someone is losing theirs. I was sad because I was losing my father in law and also because I kinda felt like I was losing my dream of having a baby. But I know I can try again. Now just wasn't the right time I guess.

Tburks, I am so sorry about your father in law and that you had to postpone your cycle. I wish you and DH strength during this time. You will be in my prayers.

Natasha, thanks so much for your prayers and your great optimisim. I love the thought that we are all going to have babies soon. It is hard to keep the optimism up but your note helped :-).

Annie973, how are your levels today? I hope you everything went back to normal.

Hope everyone is doing well. December is almost here!!
