Sorry to hear such devastating news Eddie......I was vey much hoping for you both that things would turn around....so sorry ...my thoughts are with you-
Hi Eddie,
I just saw your thread for the first time, and I read all your posts. I know the numbers don't sound great, but IVF has a way of pulling the rabbit out of the hat sometimes. I bled with my first IVF and now have a DD who is 4. This IVF I was pregnant with twins, and began bleeding profusely in the seventh week, and then lost one of the twins, but noone could figure out why I bled so much. Things looked bleak for about 3 1/2 weeks. Then the bleeding subsided, and I am now carrying a little boy.
If God forbid, things do not improve, you have the right train of thought when you said that it was a positive thing that she did get pregnant. That is a huge milestone with IVF. Many women will never get that positive result, and if it turns out to be that there was a problem with hormones, the doctors can monitor your wife during the proceedure help future pregnancies. God Bless you and your wife, and I hope to read that everything has turned out ok for all of you.

First off, everyone, I'd like to say thanks all for the support, and kind words. We're all in this fight together, and you all really show great hope where sometimes in these situations, hope is really tough to have. That having been said, we now know for sure that she's miscarried. Her numbers went down, so at this point we're prepared to move on. I have another question. Our infertility issues lie with me. I have low sperm count and low motility. I have been advised to use acupuncture from several sources and have read several pieces of research that show that acupuncture is great for sperm count and motility. Anyone have experience with it? This IVF attempt was our third, and we're going to take some time off to rest her body and to take a mental break, but I was thinking of doing acupuncture once per week for the next couple of months. Any thoughts?
Eddie,
So sorry to hear about your loss. It is never easy. I do not know much about the acupuncture thing, but I do see quite a few posts on it, so you may want to start a new subject post re acupuncture, and you will probably get the info you are seeking. I do have a friend who had the same problem, and they put him on clomid to increase his sperm count and it helped him tremendously. Good luck!!!

Hi there, I'm trying to stay upbeat but I started bleeding on day 7 and now its day 9. The amount was small spotting at first then about a cc now very little to nothing. The color was brown and watery. I am so nervous. Reading your comments I think the timing for implantation bleeding is right but have any of you had this color before?
I had one wiping of very light red then the next morning had a small amount of thin brown discharge. I've read lots of others having the same, pink to brown. Try not to worry although I know it's much easier said than done.

I took my baseline and it was negative. I was pretty upset due to the fact that now with my new position, neither of us have insurance coverage for IVF treatments and this last procedure was our final try. We don't have the 20K to make it happen. Good luck to you all I hope your dreams come true!
