Question about cysts

Post by Jilbert »

I have been going through ART treatments for the last year. It seems that my left ovary makes at least one cyst (or follicle that is >10mm) at the beginning of each cycle. We have had three failed IUI's. We had one IVF that resulted in two eggs, however they both failed to fertilize. We have had to cancel two IVF cycles in a row because of estrogen-producing cysts now. The cysts have interfered with the ability of the other follicles to respond to stims, and I feel that until the cyst issue is resolved, that I won't be able to do any cycles.

Does anyone know of any way to "quiet" my left ovary, so that it won't produce an early cyst/large (useless) follicle?

I do not know why your doctor would cycle you for iui or ivf if you had a baseline follie over 10mm. All they have to do is put you on bcp/patch for a couple of weeks to resolve the cyst and go from there. I think you may need a new doctor.

Hi

accupunture is great for ivf and cysts, but you will need to take herb as well. The herb gets rid anything toxic in your body. Accupunture is great to relax your body and improve the blood flow. The reason I know this been through for the past a few years. The herb keeps my body warm. I will this information on my website.

Thanks,
