My surrogate is due in Feb with my twins. I'm hoping you could shed some light on my situation. My baby boy's heart rate this morning was only 125 bpm while he was sound asleep. When he woke it was 133 bpm. My GC said the dr didn't seem concerned at all. Had I been there I would have asked more questions. But seeing as though she's clear across the country I wasn't there. What do you all think? Should I be concerned? Help!!
By the way, my girls heart rate was 145 bpm.
Thanks ladies!

Last week my baby's HB was only at 138. This was lower than I'd seen previously so I asked the doctor about it. She said that normal HB ranges from the 120s to 180s and they don't get concerned if it is in range. I'd ask your doctor if you are really worried but my guess is it's probably fine.

Yeah, I heard the same here. Anything between 120 and 180 BPM is just fine. Your in that area so try not to worry about it. I'm sure your boy is just fine.
Thanks ladies for the positive words. I'm tired of worrying about everything. Hopefully you are correct and that things are ok!!! I'm sure they are, he was probably just tired......

when you say 120-180 is that after a certain week? our RE told us anything over 100 at 6 week ultrasound was normal. we are worried because with our twins 1 has a HR of 110 and one of 118. is that normal at 6-7 weeks?
