Brenda: When is your ET scheduled? Mine is scheduled for 12/12 if the lining is ok on 12/08.

Has anyone had side effects from the Estrace? I am having splitting headaches at night. Since I take my pills every morning, I wonder why I am only having headaches at night.

I'm off to take some Ibuprofen.

Hackney- CONGRATS!!!! I hope your BFP rubs off on the rest of us. Your numbers sound like twins. I was pregnant with twins my 1st IVF (lost one at 7 weeks) and my beta's were lower than that.

Teachertam- I go in for my lining check tomorrow. and if all looks well transfer is on 12/8 so we will only be a couple of days apart.
I am so worried about my lining check tomorrow last month they cancelled my cycle lining was only 5mm. About the estrace - I am not getting headaches but I am having discharge (this is not normal for me until the middle of my cycle). Also have been eating more, not sure if it is the estrace or nerves.

Not sure why RE is checking the lining 1 whole week before transfer. I thought that it would be just a few days before. Any ideas???

Will check back tomorrow (hope that I have a good lining).

Brenda: At what stage were your embies frozen? Maybe you need time for the embies to thaw and divide. Mine are frozen eggs. They will be thawed on 12/09 and fertilized the same day, then three days later they will be transferred (day 3 transfer). Good luck on your lining check tomorrow.

Tammy,

My 5 embies were all frozen as blasts (5 day) (sorry 1 was at the morula stage and 4 at blast stage). I went for my lining check today and they said that I have to go back on Wed. for another check. lining is 10mm but I had fluid in my uterus. This also happened to me on my fresh cycle in Aug. 08 but they pulled the fluid out and it didn't return but I ended up with a BFN and not sure if that is they reason why. They said you are not supposed to do a transfer of any kind if there is fluid.

I will find out more on Wed. but for now they put me on vag. estrace along with my oral tablets I take by mouth.

Lola- congratulations on your bfp!

DNT- Keep th efaith , you tested early. When i got my fiirst BFP back in 04 i tested on day 8 and there was a faint faint line you could hardly see it but i was pregnant with twins but then lost one at 11 weeks. so there still is a good possibility here- stay positive

Cocosmama- good luck with your transfer- sending sticky sticky vibes your way

Hackney! GREAT GREAT NUMBERS! I am so happy for you... sound like twins in there, can't wait until you go in for a sono. When is your next appointment! You must be on cloud 9 and grinning from ear to ear... Make sure to take it easy during the holidays and don't overdo it

Teachertam- as far as the side effects, headache are for sure one of them and so is hunger. I officially have gained 5 pounds so far from the estrace- and being on the estrace for a month now hasn't helped....

I am going in for a check of my lining on Wednesday at 11:30 so keep your fingers crossed for me ladies. I think the estracw is working again since i and done with the antibotics and have been getting the discharge with ever dose which is 4x a day. I hope it has gone up to at least a 10. I will be SHOCKED if it hasn't...... I am pissed that my RE didn't recommed for me to take the z pack antibiotic since studies have found that it increases estrogen levels ( i bet that is why i get really bad headache when i take the z pack) and that amoxil dosen't allow estrogen to be absorbed propperly.......

As for me, I am going for my second beta tomorrow and depending on those numbers they will schedule the u/s! So far betas seem good - 1st 330 and 2nd 921! So now we wait to see what happens tomorrow!

Hi ladies! Thank you for your messages and good thoughts. All went well. Transferred 3 blasts, all excellent condition. Was on bed rest all day yesterday, but am up and moving around this morning. Taking it easy though. Beta is 12/11/08.

Hackney - congrats on your beta! That's a terrific number.

Now the wait commences. Off to acupuncture. Talk soon!

Hey ladies,

Went to the RE again this morning and they said that the fluid is gone from my uterus and that my lining is at 10mm (this is what it was on Monday, should it have got thicker???????????????) I start my PIO shots tonight and my transfer is on Monday. I am so very worried this is our last attempt and I am trying to keep a PMA but worried about my frozen embies and if they are going to make the thaw and how they look after that.

Good news on your uterus, lining and ET. I believe that a 10mm lining is optimal.

My ultrasound is Monday. I will keep my fingers crossed that my lining is good so that my thaw can be Tuesday and ET on Friday, 12/12. If so, we will be 4 days apart.
