muchhope-twin girls! how wonderful! baby C will be in our prayers :) what were their hr's if you don't mind me asking? just not sure what the normal HR is around this time. and you already know the sex? that's amazing!

doddo-you are in our prayers and thoughts. many good positive vibes going your way

daizyp-good luck thursday! we made an appointment with our ob for around 9 weeks as well -so excited

gina1234-my DW is sooo sooo tired too-it's 7:30 and she's already in bed! I feel like the more rest she needs the better. it's good to pay attention to your body and not push it.

ladies we are all moving along! can't believe it and so happy i have this to share with you

does anyone know what a normal HR is around our time-6/7/8 weeks? our RE said it's give or take 4 days on US with age so yesterday we were 6w5d and baby A and baby B measured 6w3 and 6w1d they said totally normal and right on track-that may give you some reassurance muchhope!

HI kb,

DW is smart for listening to her body. I am always tired. I wash the dishes, take a nap. anything and everything makes me tired. Dr said it is completly normal with carrying multiples...

Wehad PGD done for genetic reasons and as a fail safe only put females back in case they missed the X link disorder. Males have it, females carry it. PGD came back with 9 healthy females and 3 healthy boys.. Only one of the boys made it to freeze.

Their heartbeats were at 6wks 1 day baby A 113 and Baby B 114 Baby C was only 90, whcih is the bottom of normal for 6 wks 0 days as she measures.. We are not giving up on her, she is in our prayers and we have faith that God will do the right thing by her.

we will have 2 US on the 15th.. one at my perinatologist office and one at our RE's office. I am not telling either that the other is doing it. I like having them, it is reassuring to hear their hearts beating...

Have a wonderful night and god bless you, DW and the Twins of yours as well

Much sticky baby dust

Baby #2 was hiding behind #1 and they both moved around this week and my R/E yelled out the good news.

Both heartbeats are great and they measured 8 weeks 4 days.

Needless to say, my husband is on could nine.

Jersey Gal-- Congratulations!! Twins-- how exciting for you. Such happy news.

I completely hear you all on being tired. As far as I know I'm only carrying one little one and I'm still exhausted! Naps every day and still falling asleep by 8:30-- DH tucking me in every night and laughing at how we've reversed roles. Guess it's tiring work growing little ones!! :)

congrats jerseygal! how exciting :) I am so happy for you!

We are having a bit of a rough time. It was this time last year we had the miscarriage so i think it brings on alot of anxiety and worry-and rightfully so. I called our RE's nurse to let her know we were worried because at 6w6d baby #1 measured ahead at 7w2d but with a heartbeat of 110. does that seem slow to anyone? she reassured me and said anything over 100 is very normal but from what i read it shoudl be a bit faster. baby #2 measured a bit behind at 6w4d (which she said there can be 2 or 3 days lag time due to them being unsure with IVF of exact implantation.) and baby #2 hr was 118. Our RE's office told us everything looks great and we know we sould trust them but all of a sudden we got worried today. Do these heartrates sound good to anyone or a little behind?

oh we just can't wait until the 2nd trimester when we can breathe a little sigh of relief.
is anyone else feeling as anxious as we are? even when there is no reason?
sorry to vent!

hi kb....i think those heartbeats are normal for 6-7 weeks..once they are 8 weeks or more.. the h/b should be faster, but right now, is good. i researched this a lot too..i'm the queen of making myself crazy with analyzing details!! i'm surprised i'm still sane.

i had a m/c too..this past june. right now, i'd be ready to birth dec 16th if i hadn't m/c'd. so i've been having a hard time..

jersey gal..i'm so excited you're having twins! i hope that's going to be my story too..i had 1 u/s and they only saw 1 embie, measured 7mm, h/b 121, at 6wks, 4days... i'm hoping next time they find 2.. or maybe i'm just hoping next time (dec 12) they find the 1 still healthy. i've been freaking out.

much hope..as i said on the other thread..i'm so delighted you've got triplets..and i'm praying for strength for baby c also.. :)

JerseyGal, congrats to you and your DH! That's wonderful news! You are twice blessed. Wow, did you have any clue with your beta #'s, or were you pretty sure it was one before then? I still keep wondering if they'll find another at my next u/s. I am so happy with our one but curious how often this happens that they find another. How many did you transfer again?

Gina, I think I mentioned to you on the other board, but good luck next week at your u/s! I know you must be excited. I really can't wait for my 2nd!

Daizyp, I totally agree with you and everyone, it is tiring! I went to bed at 10:00 last night, which is early for me, but still could use a good nap in the middle of the day. I'd love to curl up under my desk right now but already pushing it with being on this board so much.

Kb and Karen, sorry you're both having some hard times. I am anxious and haven't had the unfortunate past that both of you share, so I completely understand your difficulty. I hope that faith will help see you through so you can enjoy your pregnancies. This is a glorious time in all of our lives!

hi girls, i am a little reluctant to join this new forum as i have not allowed myself to be comfortable with the pregnancy yet- but here i am... due July 24th :D

My first beta at 14dp3dt was 70, 2nd: 16dp3dt was 165 and 3rd: 22dp3dt was 2,325. I had my first u/s yesterday and at 6w5d my baby was showing 6w2d (which is right on according to the RE) but the heart beat was 99.6. I am so sick of 2WWs but I am yet again stuck in one until my next u/s to see if the hr is progressing.

I scanned through the messages but didn't really see what ya'lls hr were on your first u/s... any input from experience? My RE said its not bad but not where he wanted to see it and advised I still not tell too many people just yet- i just dont think i will be able to relax until i am holding the little guy in my arms.

Have a good day- I'm looking forward to seeing what ya'll have to say :D

Hi Ladies-

Just got back from my second u/s. RE said the baby was right on schedule growth wise and that the heart rate was also just fine- but when I asked the heart rate number, he said it was 160! I was freaking out thinking it was high- but he assured me it was ok (I also read it was normal online for 8 weeks) but I'm still unsure. Does anyone know if that is ok? I'm officially done with the clinic now and being sent to my regular OB. Guess that is positive.

Welcome Waiting for 4. We all know the feeling of hating that 2WW! But is sounds like all is right on track for you.

Hope everyone else is feeling ok and hangin in there!

Hello everyone,

Waiting for 4 - welcome to the group. Try to relax, things will work out great for you. My husband and I are on cloud nine but at the same time very nervious. I did get pregnant on IVF#2 with a singleton but had a m/c at early. We never really did get a heartbeat. This time things are much much better. I am currently at 8 weeks 5 days with twins. Like I said in my note yesterday I didn't know we were having two until u/s #3 that I had yesterday. My r/e re-assured me that everyting is going good and babies are at the right size and heartbeat is good. He does NOT give the heartbeat numbers to us. He is very straightforward. When we lost the first child he told us from the very beginning that the numbers were not climbling right and then the sac was not growing at the correct pace. He also does bloodwork (beta, progest, estrogen) at each weekly visit. Yesterday's numbers were beta 138,000, progest 141 and estrogen 1246.
He told me to go home, enjoy the great news and come back next wed. for my next u/s.
He's the chair of the r/e dept. at Thomas Jefferson Univ Hosp. in Philly and just wonderful.
My advise is to try to stay calm (easier said than done) and just follow what your r/e tells you.

Wonderce - We did a 3 day transfer with 5 embryo's, 4 grade A, 1 grade B. This was our 4th IVF and last one covered fully by our insurance so we asked our r/e to put back in all 5 that worked.
My first beta number at 13 days past 3 day transfer was 487. And we thought that was very high for a single. My husband kept telling me that it was twins even though the first two u/s showed one. If you see my belly for the amount of weeks going by it's already grown.

We just can't wait for 12 weeks to pass and we will be more comfortable with things.

Does anyone have testing scheduled??? I am on for Dec. 22nd. First the Nuchal Transparency and based on those results the CVS after that.
