Hang in there Indy. My E2 levels got close to 3000. I always felt really bloated and aware of my ovaries. I am sure you are growing lots and lots of follicles. Just try to take it easy and stay calm. Don't think too far ahead.

Gigi-29- when is your transfer?

London -glad to hear you can get your cycle going.

I had my ultrasound this morning. My lining is 12 and we are all set for our transfer thursday. Happy Friday to everyone

indy - your E2 values look good - did RE tell you how many/how big your follies were? I didn't have much pain or discomfort during stims - but then again, I didn't respond that well and only had 10 follies - so I don't think my ovaries were very big either.

wishing 4 baby - how'd your appt go?

I know we have some FETs on the board - but for all the fresh cycles, is everyone doing a long lupron protocol? I am doing the micro-dose lupron protocol - just wondering if anyone else has gone through it. Or if anyone is doing the non-lupron protocol?

sprouthaus - I (think) I did the microdose Lupron protocol. I did Lupron from 11/12 till the day before yesterday. I started with 10 units for a few days then changed to 5 units.

wishing4baby - I think my transfer will be Sunday according to my nurse. That will be a 3 day transfer. I was hoping to hold out till Tuesday for the 5 day but I trust their judgement. They do play it by ear so they will call me to discuss on Sunday morning.

I just got a call from our office and out of my 13 eggs, 10 fertilized.

Gigi-29 - thanks for responding, but I think you are doing the long-lupron protocol. In the m-d protocol I am taking lupron for only 2 days before staring FSH.

Congrats on your embies! 10 out of 13 is great! My RE says she expects about 80% to fertilize so you are right on track. Now all they have to do is GROW, GROW, GROW!!!!!!!!!

I, too, am doing 10units Lupron til AF arrives then once I start Gonal-F they'll bump me to 5units for like a week. How is everyone feeling? bloated, crampy?

Hi everyone. I had my u/s & b/w appointment this morning. My usual ultrasound technician or nurse wasnt at the office this morning, so they gave me this other lady that i dont really believe she knew what the heck she was doing. Stabbing me with the thing-a-ma-jig! According to her she could not even get a good visual of my lining becuz my ovaries were so large. She proceeds to stick the be-jesus out of me searching for my left ovary. She actually stopped counting on the left bcuz according to her she couldnt see that other half. WTF?? She apologize like a thousand times bcuz i was in friggin pain and left her know it.

I am scheduled to go in for another u/s & b/w appointment tomorrow morning. This would be #5. I will find out tomorrow if I will trigger this Sunday and ER is scheduled for Tuesday.

Day 8 - u/s & b/w
Lining: 11 (Tech wasnt sure)(Was 15 on Day 6)
E2: 4708 (said this was a good number)
Follies: 23 (she stopped counting on the left ovary. Personally dont think she knew what she was doing.)

I'm exhauseted. In pain. Long day at work. G/L everyone.

Sorry you suffered so much.

I wish they wouldnt put people that dont know their job in this kinda work,as if it wasnt enough we`re suffering,we don`t need any more pain!

JennJenn - I'm sorry to hear about your u/s experience - sounds REALLY horrible. On the plus side - you sound like you are progressing very nicely! I don't think my E2 ever got to 2000 - even after 10 days of stimming at max dose.

Keep us posted tomorrow and let us know about your ER date so we can all throw baby dust your way and positive vibes.

Hello everyone, long time that I have not signed on. I finally went to my RE and talked about the FET in Jan., I have an u/s appt 12/22 and he said hopefully we can start the lupron again and go from there. Kinda nervous since this is my first time for all of this and with the holidays coming and not having family in the new hometown it is pretty sad and lonely. I am also really anxious about the whole FET.

Hi all-
I just came from my Day 9 b/w and u/s. According to the nurse, my follies are maturing nicely. She said i have "so many" (didnt share the number but said she wasnt going to count them all.) She also said, I have what the call "kissing ovaries" meaining i have so many follicles that the ovaries are touching.

The bad news is, my E2 levels are very high. 6789 to be exact. It was a little of 4000 just yesterday! My RE has decided to stop the Gonal-f completely. So, i will actually continue on .5 Lupron and 75ui of Menopur. I will then go in to see the doctor on Monday morning. So, with this recent development I will not be triggering on Sunday. They will tell me more when i go in on Monday. She was being very vague, so I dont even know what is going on. Its making me nervous. I wont be able to relax until Monday.

JennJenn - I hope everything works out ok. Perhaps they just want to slow you down a little bit before the ER. With all those follies you've got to have a great count! Let us know when you hear anything.

Barbd - thanks for all the positive thoughts! FET's are a lot less stressful! I'm sure you'll get your BFP

I had my b/w and u/s today and they want me back tomorrow. I think this means I will trigger tomorrow and have the ER on Tuesday. I'll have a update tomorrow!

JennJenn - my goodness, I don't know what to say! Kissing ovaries! Estrogen over 6000! How do you feel? (Other than anxious because they aren't telling you much - argh! ) I hope that you have hobbies and other things that can help fill the time this weekend - I'm sure it is hard to think about anything else - but if you can get your mind off of what is happening, I'm sure you'll feel better. Admittedly, I am not an expert - and I don't even know that much about IVF - but I'm surprised they didn't trigger you immediately! - what do I know though.

Annie973 - good luck to you as you progress - I can't believe your ER is almost here too!
