lost some blood and worried to death

Post by Juliana »

Hi girls,
the worrying really never ends. i was quite happy the last days and getting more confident when suddenly yesterday afternoon i passed some blood! I had a few cramps before that and then a small but not so small amount of blood and then I kept bleeding a few drops every time iwent to peethroughout the day. i am in shock and can hardly keep myself from going into blind panic. my poor dp got very depressed and scared as well. the blood has not been very much but that's how it started last time when i had a m/c - drips and drops all week and then it was over. i really don't know how i will cope if it goes that way again. if i did not ahve the m/c last time i would have more hope that it's nothing but now i don't know. has this happened to anyone?

Hi Juliana
I've also had spotting and the hospital said that this is really nothing to worry about and it is the embies well and truly embedding in the lining of the womb. When they scanned me at 6 weeks they also told me to expect some more blood. So what I'm trying to say is that not all is lost and lots of women do bleed throughout.
Have you called your hospital - might be worth talking to them?
Please try to stay positive (I know how hard it is), but I'm sure everything will work out fine and you have got to keep up that PMA.
This whole process is so stressful, but you've done great to get a positive and I'm keeping everything crossed that all will be fine.
Love, Michelle xxxx
Our darling son Jake was born in October 2004 on our 3rd IVF attempt. I have PCOS. We're now trying again naturally, before embarking on our next FET IVF possibly late 2005... so watch this space!!!

I can only repeat what the others have said, and hope you had good news at the hospital.

I bled from 7 weeks right through to about 13ish, varying levels and incredibly scary, but am now almost 37 weeks, so it isn't always the worst.

Get lots of rest, TRY not to worry too much, we are all thinking of you.
