Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Annie973 - how exciting!! Keep us updated. I hope you get lots of great follies.

JennJenn - I had really high E2 levels my last round. The doctor held off on the trigger for a few days. I think he called it coasting. I wasn't taking anymore follistim but he was letting me coast to let the follicles mature more. I think the HCG also can send your estrogen higher. Coasting you for a few days lets them keep a handle on it. Not sure if this is what is going on with you, but my situation was similar to yours. Just try to stay calm and relaxed. You have a bunch of follies. Your ER and ET will be here soon!

BarbD - glad to hear your FET will be starting up soon. I am doing a FET transfer Thursday and it has been SO much easier than a fresh cycle. Just try to stay relaxed.

DH and I got our Christmas tree today. Trying to stay busy. It feels like Thursday is taking forever to get here. Positive thoughts to everyone :-)

wishing4baby, what protocol are you using? I just got over AF and my RE made an appt for 12/22 to do u/s and possible start me on the lupron(again). I am a little nervous but I guess it is expected at this point of the game. It seems this year flew by and the 22nd can't come fast enough, time for me has just stood still know that we can financially move on to the rest of the journey :)

I think this entire thing has been hard since we started full force and had to stop after the ER due to finances. We froze 13 embres but I don't know the quality of them and that is really bothersom.

Hi everyone! It sounds like we have a lot going on with our cycles now.

I started stimming Friday. My RE said I had many baby follicles. I have about 10 on the right and "at least" 5 on the left. On my first IVF, we retrieved 18 eggs, and ended up with 11 embies. I'm hoping for the same, if not better, amount. I want really good quality embryos too so that we can hopefully make it to a 5-day transfer. It's getting really exciting. :D

Wishing4baby... good luck with your FET! You're right, FETs are less stressful. I'm a bit jealous as I would prefer an FET and skip all this stimming stuff. How many are you transferring??

Ok it's official the ER will be on Tuesday!! Thank God! My RE's office is an hour away from home and work. I am really getting worn down from driving there all the time. They still want me to come in tomorrow for one last check up. Oh and my trigger shot has to be done at midnight then I have to get up at 4:00 a.m. to get ready for work, get down there and be at work by 8:00.

I'm really thinking of splurging and getting a relaxing massage before my ET because I am so stressed!! Does anyone else have a long commute to their RE's office?

I am so excited and so jealous for all of you! I should've done my ER on the 5th. :( My father in law died on the 2nd and I'm really glad we post poned the stimming. I guess I will still be on the board for Jan. tho. I have to call when I start my period and we'll get started again. I'm thinking that should be around the 24th.

Good luck to all of you.

By the way how does it feel to have all those eggs in there??

Annie - Good luck tomorrow. I actually live about an hour and 15 minutes from my RE's office but my RE's office is right next to my work - that's right, I drive that everyday! It sucks. Our house if for sale but it's really hard right now to sell. It's been for sale since last Sept. Oh well.

My doctors office called me yesterday and said that our embies were all looking good at day 3 and they wanted to wait and do a day 5 transfer. That puts me at transfering tomorrow! Wow, how unbelievable that this is all happening.

Ann - it looks like you're moving right along, grow follies - grow!!

London - we'll be freezing if we have any left over, it's part of the package that we purchased at our RE's office. Just in case, all thought this will work :) (positive thinking).

Jenn - Hope your appt went well this morning! Keep us posted.

Wow Ladies, tomorrow is an exciting day!

Annie good luck with ER - I can't wait to hear how you're feeling and how many eggs you get!
Gigi29 good luck with ET. Do you know how many you're putting back? Oh, and you were talking about your suck-commute. I, too, drive 1.5hr each direction each day. It totally blows! :)
tburks I remember you from another thread and heard your FIL was sick. Sorry to hear he passed away but try to stay positive about this cycle. Christmas Eve will be here before you know it and you can start again - so exciting! And glad you're on our thread!

Well as for me I took my last BCP yesterday and get to start Gonal-F later this week after AF arrives. Meanwhile we're doing Lupron and I'm getting a lot of burning with it. But mostly I'm just happy to be underway and know ER will be here in the blink of an eye.

Annie973 - I will be thinking of you tomorrow - may you be blessed with many eggs that turn into many embies! Let us know how everything went as soon as you're up to it.

Gigi-29 - Good luck with your transfer tomorrow! And congratulations on making it to day 5 - that is a big hurdle for many women! Will you be on bedrest following transfer? I can't believe your 2ww starts tomorrow!!! Start us off strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ann d - When is your first u/s bw? How are you feeling? I've been stimming for 2 days and I'm feeling tired, but good.

tburks - don't worry - your time will be here before you know it. Especially with the holidays coming up! Be thankful that you aren't dealing with everything at this time - after all - now you can have a glass of wine on christmas eve. Doesn't that sound delightful? :D

Oh - and Annie973 - GET THE MASSAGE! Sounds like you need it! I have already booked a fertility massage for this Thursday during stims and I've booked a relaxing massage during my 2ww. I am all about anything that will keep us relaxed (I'll keep doing yoga too).

My RE has 3 offices in the Chicago area - so depending on what day of the week I need to test - my commute can be long. If I'm lucky, the office is in between work and home - perfect. If I'm unlucky, it is an hour west of my house and my work is 30 minutes north of my house - so, not convenient. And we always have to go to the far office for ER and ET.

Hi everyone. Happy Monday.

BarbD - WOW 13 embies!! That is a great number. I am sure you have many that are great quality. I wasn't on lupron. I was on BCP for about 20 days after my last period. I then started estrogen a day after my period started. I had estrogen shots every 4 days with increasing dosages. Last night I had my first progesterone shot and will have one every night until the day of the transfer, at which point I will start 2 of those a day. The estrogen shots are every 3 or 4 days. I also started medrol and tetrocycline 4x/day and 1 baby aspirin/day yesterday. I know how hard it is to wait. Our last cycle was July and it has seemed like forever for this FET to get here. But the 22nd will be here before you know. This month is always busy. It will go fast. What protocol are you using?

London - starting stims on Christmas Eve, that sounds like a great day to get this process going! I know it will get here quick.

Ann d - sounds like you are making a lot of great follies. When is your tentative ER? We are transferring 3 blasts. You were right, one more than they do with a frozen.

Annie973 - Good Luck tomorrow!! Let us know how you do.

Tburks - I am so sorry to hear about your father in law. Sounds like you will have an angel looking out for you when you start stimming. The 24th will be here before you know it.

Gigi-29 - congrats on making it to 5 days! How many will they be transferring?

Not hopeless yet - I loved taking that last BCP. Then you know your cycle is right around the corner.

Hope everyone else is doing great. Positive thoughts to all :-)

I'll be on bedrest, just for the 24 hours that my RE requests. I'll take off work on Tuesday for the transfer and Wednesday and lay in bed all day and night till I have to get up for work on Thursday. Hopefully I'll be able to take it easy. I'm a project manager so I'm out in the field alot but my bosses know what I'm doing and they promised to help me out.

I think we'll just put back in two. That, of course, depends on grades. If we have 2 strong ones, that will be all I will do. I couldn't imagine life with Trips... That would be tough but I could do it if I had to. Just want to limit the possibilities, you know!
