High E2 levels early on (taking Bravelle anyone)

Ugghh My E2 level is now 3800. Taking me down to 1/2 vial Menupor.

So your e2 level is now exactly the same as mine!! Did they say anything about triggering yet? I guess if they have altered your dose of menopur they want you to carry on for now.

When do you go back ?

Kas- I go back in the morning 7:45 for us and bw. At appt today Dr. said I would probably trigger tomorrow w/ER on Mon, tonight would probably be last night of stims, but all this depends on tomorrow appt. This is so hard everything is so iffy.

At least they are monitoring you very closely.... I'm guessing that you're right, they will get you to trigger tomorrow and do ER on Monday, so you will be right behind me....

Right now, i'm getting all the laundry done and cleaning up so that tomorrow after my ER i can just relax with movies while DH goes to work!!

I have to admit i'm getting pretty nervous.....

JJC- My E2 levels are at 4708. My nurse said that was a good number. I am confused by what different RE/nurses call high. I also go for an additional u/s & b/w appt tomorrow. I may trigger Sunday. I'll find out tomorrow.

JenJen - sounds like you are coming along well. They triggered me at 3800 so you are probably right about triggering tomorrow.

Just got back from ER 9 eggs might not sound like a lot to everyone but i am a poor reponder with diminishing ovarialn reserve, and 4 is good for me, so i am happy with this

JJC - how did your u/s go today????

Kas- 9 eggs I think that is great!! Let me know how they fertilize!! I'm happy for you.
JennJenn- My RE is now acting like my E2 is no big deal. I have read so many different accounts of what E2 level means on these forums. I guess you got to just trust the RE. They didn't even call and let me know what E2 was today. RE did say we are doing ER sooner rather than later because of higher E2.
My appt went well today. I am triggering at Midnight and going in for my ER on Monday. I am nervous about the trigger. RE said I should have a good number of eggs and that I probably can do a day 5 transfer. We are doing ICSI do to low sperm count.

Good evening ladies. I honestly dont know what the hell my clinic is doing. My e2 levels today were 6789! It was 4708 just yesterday. I will not be triggering tonight or tomorrow for that matter. They want me to come in on Monday morning. I am discontinuing the Gonal-f. I am confused. It just seems like they are playing everything by ear. It seems like they dont really know how to proceed. Also, i had a different u/s tech than yesterday. My DH is pissed

and will tell the doctor on Monday. When you are dealing with these type situations, accuracy and consistency is extremely critical. I am freaking mad!

JennJenn- That stinks. My RE was on top of it, he never told me there was a problem but he drastically reduced my meds right after my first E2 level was taken. I was down to a half of vial of Menupor last night and no more stims tonight. I feel terrible for you. I know I am not out of the woods yet, but hopefully it will go well. This whole process has made me feel like a science experiment. Please let me know what happens.

JennJenn To give you hope I have read another women's story recently and her levels were in the 9000 range and she coasted with no meds for a few days and her levels came down and they were able to do ER. She is waiting to here about transfer.

Hey Ladies,

JenJen - Your levels are high thats for sure!! But at least they have stopped your meds. They are probably waiting for them to drop a little before they trigger you. I'm sure by Monday they will be able to get you to trigger!!! I know what you mean about being upset about how your cycle has gone. This is sometimes how it goes as they can never predict how anyone will repond to the same dosage of meds. At least they are keeping tabs on your e2 leels and they seems to have adjusted accordingly... Hopefully Monday you will know more ang finally get to trigger!!!!!

JJC - I know MOnday you will probably be triggering as well! Lets hope your levels have evened out a little and i cant wait to see how many eggs you have at your ER!!! Ususally high levels = large number of follies (and therefore eggs)

So i heard today i had 8 eggs fertilise!!! I will go in on Tuesday morning for ET. How old are you ladies by the way?????

KAS- 8 eggs fertilized thats great! What a high fertilization rate!! I triggered last night and my ER is at 10am tommorrow. The trigger was not bad. MY DH did a great job I don't even have a bruise. Wish me luck tomorrow.

29 eggs!! However they are still worried about OHSS. I've been told what to watch for.

29!!!! Thats a fantastic number though!! You will have plenty of frosties which is great as a back up plan or for a sibling further down the road!!!

As far as OHSS goes i have seen much advice on the topic, and the cure-all is gatorade as it replaces the electrolytes. And protein...

You will probably feel quite bloated tonight and tomorrow (like you have really bad gas). Dont forget to sleep propped up a little tonight. my RE likes us to sleep in a recliner if posible for the first night, but i just have a few extra pillows

Let us know when you get your fert report tomorrow, and enjoy a nice easy evening ....
