hi praying- hope you're doing ok with your news about your eggs and having to make a decision...my thoughts are with you. i know sometimes when i find a decision to hard- i rely on my dh more. he's more objective as i get so wrapped up in everything.

hi mary- with your m.s- are you actually vomiting? i'm not. just an almost constant urge to. it's gross. most of the day i've felt like this for the past 3 days.

i'm stressed cause i have a big obligation at work tomorrow- to lecture for 1 hour to about 80 clients... i think i just need to call in sick. it's the kind of work place that you're either 'there' and doing everything you're supposed to, or you just don't come in. i'm worried if i go in and ask to cancel and have a modified day, it just wouldn't work out and i'd have to do it. i'm horrified by thoughts of being nauseous mid-way this lecture and being trapped.

i hope everyone else is doing ok. when i updated the board, either i've lost track of how some ladies are doing...or we haven't heard from people who had betas in the last week or 2. i'm a bit worried.

congrats kas on your fert report :D :D ..i want to do commercials for DHEA
love to all, karen.

JDC - Looking for a good Beta number today. Good luck!!! I will be checking in on you.

prayin4BFP - Sorry that only 4 of your embies fertilized. Since you have to do PGD, I think I would do what the RE recommended. I know PGD is hard on your embies and from what I hear a lot of times embies don't make it through the process, so doing another cycle and having more to choose from might be better in the long run. I know it is hard trying to contemplate doing another cycle. IVF just takes so much out of us, physically and emotionally. I do want to let you know that after my BFN, I thought I also really wanted to take a break for a while, but after a couple of weeks I was ready to start again. I am kind of in the same mood now, and I was only canceled a week ago. You are a strong woman and you can trudge through another cycle. It won't be easy but it can be done. Wishing you the best of luck.

Kas - Congrats on your 8 embies. I am so happy for you. Good luck at ET tomorrow.

Karen - Sorry you arn't feeling so well. Hopefully it will only last a few more weeks.

Pixelgirl - Only a couple more days till your beta. YEAH!!!! I think I am in the same mindset as you and DH. I am going to try IVF till I can't try anymore. Which would be 3 more cycles because I have insurance coverage. After that I am done. I just want to know that in my heart that I have done everything that I can to have a child. That way no regrets later on down the road when I have no grandchildren. If I don't get PG within the next 3 cycles, then I am going to have fun and live my life with DH. Good Luck.

Well, paper is done and turned in. Now I have to study for my final on Wednesday. After that I am on a break till January. YEAH!!!!

Hi Ladies, sorry it has been so long - I just got back into work today and have been off since the 26th of November.

Congrats to all you who got your big fat positive - that is awesome. Hopefully I will join you soon.

Chris, I am so sorry that they cancelled your cycle - I am praying for you and hope that next time it works for you.

I dont have time to address everyone as I have tons of work to say, but I wanted to do a quick update. So I did ER on Thur and they got 32 eggs - yes 32! Out of the 32 only 20 implanted and as of yesterday 18 are doing really good and 2 are legging behind. They have decided to do a 5 day transfer so tomorrow afternoon it is. Looks like I am not the only one doing ET tomorrow - good luck to everyone. Sending lots of hugs!!!

Big thanks to everyone for their support about my embies. Only 3 out of the 9 have made it so far so we have decided to freeze them and do another cycle in January or February. I am just devestated but I hope this is just the hormones talking and I will be mentally prepared for another cycle next year.
Best wishes to everyone and I hope you all get the BFP you are wishing for.

Yeah Kas! Good luck tomorrow. You have a great # with your 8, and especially if you transfer 4!

Prayin4BFP, sorry about your recent challenge and understand your feeling devastated. It sounds like you and your DH came to a decision that is best for you though, and at least now you can focus on the next step. I'm wishing you the best with your next cycle.

Karen, call in sick if you need to. I'm trying to do everything I can to alleviate any undue stress these days. If the work lecture is causing you any anxiety, I'd back out if it wouldn't cause you any trouble when you go back to work. And I'm like you with the nausea, feeling the constant urge to get sick all day but never actually vomiting. My RE told me Zofran is completely safe to take during pregnancy, so since I got the prescription filled last week, I'm going to give it a try. I lost a couple more pounds at my visit this morning and that's not good.

Hey Gina, I'd love to hear how you're coming along if you get a chance later.

JDC, great news! Congratulations again!! I hope you celebrate and cry later if you want to! It's an emotional time.

Kke, congrats on the twins! You are twice blessed. I'm sure everything will be fine with your 2, especially if your RE didn't give you reason to think otherwise. Did you get heartrates and measurements?

Wow Mary, now that's a lot of eggs! It sounds like you will have great chances with your ET. Best of luck tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is hanging in there and doing well.

Well Ladies. I want to thank you all for your support thru all of this. I am sad to announce that my results were BFN. Sorry I didnt get back sooner but I was devasted all weekend. I thought if I would get a bfn I wouldn't take it so hard, but I was crushed and still am. I just don't understand.

You know how every month u symptom spot and u decide to take that HPT and it comes back negative and then u think oh well, I'll try again next month and again and again, nexy thing u know it becomes second nature and u get use to the whole BFN thing.

Well, this is completely different. I was hoping so much for a BFP. I figured with the extra help in the process I was so positive.

I mean, I dont know what I did wrong, I did everything I was supposed to. I just dont know. And even with the test results, I was in denial. I was so wishing and hoping that they would call me back on Monday saying tat they made a mistake. but, yesterday I got my AF so I new it was over.

Well, my husband was crushed as well. but he said everything will be alright. We are going to try again after the holidays. I want to avoid any extra stress. This time I am going to stay home the whole 2-3 weeks of the process of ER/ET.

Thanks again for all of your support ladies. And congrats to all with your BFPs.

Lady J - (((((HUGS)))) So sorry about your BFN. Don't blame yourself, I am sure you did everything in your power to get a BFP. It just wasn't in the cards this time. I am also so used to seeing negative HPT's. I don't even believe those stupid things have 2 lines. Like you said it becomes second nature that it doesn't work and then we do IVF and get our hopes upl, just to be let down, AGAIN. It is good that you can do another cycle. . I know there was some survey that went around and the survey concluded it takes 1.84 times of IVF to get PG. There is no reason that your next one won't work. Wishing you and your DH the best of luck with your next cycle.

Karen,
My m/s is like yours just feeling of it but no vomiting which I think makes it worse because by vomiting maybe I feel better now I have this feeling all the time. I tried everything but not much help :(
I can totally understand that you can't do your lecture. I try even not to talk to my coworker for more than 5 minutes I can't even stand my husband :) anyway I think we really want these babies right??
