2WW Day 10 - anyone else out there?

druiett: thanks for the info. no genetic testing so I guess we'll wait the standard time to find out sex.

Yes my first ultrasound will be around the 6 week mark so end of december for me. I'll post an update after I get results tomorrow. I'm so excited & nervous!!

I know what you mean. During the whole Ivf procedure we were wishing for twins now we're like hey they put 2 in it could really be twins!. haha
Is there somewhere that I can go to see "normal" numbers if there is such a thing. I'm curious as to what numbers have turned out to be multiples. I'm still waiting for my results. Oh the torture...

time to update my signature....

got my BFP!! My number is 404. My response was "isn't that high?!" she said they like it to be 100 or higher & it's very good, no reason to worry, doesn't necessarily mean twins just that we are off to a great start for a healthy good prenancy." I'm thinking twins, how about ya'll. Dh thought it was my imagination but I told him a couple days ago I already "felt" pregnant, pants tighter, etc. Maybe that's why!

Anyway, happy day!

TKH..... Big Congrats to you hun.... I see twins in your future.. lol. jk, nah I aint no physcic. But Hopefully u do get your twins. That would be wonderful. Now your DH can beleive the results... cuz it's official. Congrats to you and your DH.

I really think you are looking at twins!!! Those #'s seem really high esp. with the test being done at 10 days. I can't wait to hear.. I am an identical twin... my husband is a fraternal twin

I was kinda hoping for twins myself but I can't complain.

lilmd - TWINS?! Yes, I to have a feeling that we have more than one lil' bean in there. Guess we will find out at 10am today!!! My hubby is also a an identical twin!

I know I only had 1 to put back BUT I also read that with a day 5 transfer the chances of identical twins go to 25%. Does anyone know if HCG #'s are really high also with identical twins. Seems to me that it may be different since they are typcially in the same sac therefore the numbers are closer to a single??? Just a question.

just wanted to do a quick update and let everyone know i am preg with twins. found out this morning. i am a little scared now. when i went in on friday witch was 16pt my hcg was 4500.

Ok ladies what do you think about this... I went today for my 1st ultrasound... it seemed to go normal. the resident doing the US and prior conversations with nurses said it is normal not to see the heartbeat this early (6Weeks 2Days)... Then when I came out my regular doctor was there and he said "next week we need to see the heartbeat or we're in trouble". They then sent me to the lab for another beta test. I was freaking out. My results came back at 5211 so they said that was good and I need to go back next week so they can catch the heartbeat. Has anyone out there had their first US and when did they see the heartbeat?
