Hi guys - Trying to get the PMA going. Just got my monitoring results and I have to admit I'm disappointed. My Estrogen is only 145 and I have only 4 follicles in each ovary. This is a new protocol for me, so I was hoping for a better response - instead, my response is worse. Last cycle on this day, I had 16 follicles.
It's funny how the PMA can come crashing down so quickly - right? I'm making myself smile now for lack of anything else to cheer me up - and when I get home, I'll try doing some yoga. After all, it is what it is and I can't change that.

As for me, starting stims, it is exciting. And I think Sprouthaus asked me earlier if I'll be taking anything with Gonal-F and the answer is only a reduced dose of Lupron everyday til trigger night. After ER i'll start progesterone. Yay!

Annie congrads that is such good news!!!@
I hope I have that many eggs because this time me and DH is going to freeze our embies also!! That is great
Yes we all are on our way to a BFP!! I cannot wait!!
sprouthau-what protocol are you on this time? Keep the PMA things could turn around quickly and you can go from 4 to 20 in days. We just have to have faith that things will be what they are suppose to be.
Wishingforbaby-Good Luck tomorrow or I should say today since it is 153 in the am where I am at
Natashamom-I am also doing FET in Jan, good luck and keep us updated
Annie973- 13 is a great number, how many will you transfer?
To all that I have missed, since I am at work and sick people always need some pain meds or toilet I am sorry if I missed you but I will be sending PMA to all
I'm officially off my 24 hours of mandatory best rest (and then some voluntary )... I'm back at work this morning. Tuesday morning we transfered 2 5-day blasts. The doc said they looked good so I'm praying this will work out. My betas are the 15 and the 17. Hard to believe I'll find out a week from yesterday. My thoughts are with everyone!!
Congrats Gigi - I'm glad your transfer went so well! Did you have any left to freeze?
Barb D. I'm on a micro-dose lupron protocol. I did the "normal" long lupron protocol last cycle and had 16 follies by this time - I ended up with 10 eggs, 8 fertilized, but only 2 made it to day 3. I had hopes that todays results would've been better than last cycles. As you said - it is out of my hands so worrying and being upset won't get me anywhere!
wishing4baby - I have you in my thoughts today. I hope your FET goes super smooth with great results : )

Gigi that is so exciting... I was trying to explain to DH how on one hand this process flies by. I know I'll be having ER around Christmas and with all the shopping and holiday parties coming up it will be here before I know it. On the other hand each day feels like an eternity and I check these boards and look at my personal calendar and shot timeline and I pray to God to make it go quicker... So I bet this next week, until your betas, will fly by and yet feel like an eternity. But we're all going to be waiting online to hear your news!!

I am still stimming over here and trying to keep up the PMA. My RE has me on a slower stimming cycle this time around since I responded very quickly the last time around. I had my 1st u/s on Wednesday and there were 3 measureable follies on the right side and some smaller ones on the left side. I had many more the last time around but am trying not to think too much about it. It's hard not to analyze and compare notes to my last cycle.
Any way, hope everyone is doing well!

Thanks for all the well wishes. not hopeless yet - you are sooo right about the way this is flying yet standing still. It's very hard but will be here and done before we know it. I did just find out that we have 2 that were good enough grade to freeze!!!
Hi everyone, my name is Kyli and I am 2dp5dt. This is my first round of IVF w/ ICSI. My husband and I have been trying for over 4 years to have a baby but just recently found out that I have pelvic adhesive disease and my tubes are no good because of that and my hubby has MI. They said without IVF we would have a 0% chance at ever getting pregnant. They transferred two blasts on Tuesday and I'm on bed rest still until tomorrow. My beta is scheduled for Dec. 19th.
At egg retrieval they were able to retrieve 16, perform ICSI on 14 and 11 fertilized. Two days after we found out that we had 2 excellent grade, 4 good grade, 1 average and 4 poor. They put in the best 2, they said 7 didn't develop past 8 cells and 2 were good enough for a fresh transfer but not to be frozen. So we have none to freeze and are just praying that this works because I'm not sure we can afford to do this a second time.
We got the picture of our little embryos and my husband has named them Eeny and Meeny and we are ok with a Miny but I'm scared for a Mo.
Also, I have a question, I'm still extremely tender in my uterus and ovary area. Is this normal?
I am so thankful for these boards because as I lay here I can read through all of your journeys and it brings me peace. Good luck to you all.
Kyli - Welcome and good luck! December is going to be a great month!
Gigi - Congrats on your frosties! I hear FETs are a lot easier and perhaps even better for embies??!!
KMHTTC - I'm hoping that "slow and steady wins the race"!!!!!!!!!!!! My RE said at the end of last cycle that she would like more eggs to harvest in hopes that more are high quality. I've been working with my acupuncturist on egg quality - so maybe I'll have fewer eggs, but better quality : )
I'm getting my first fertility massage today too - and we'll also work on egg quality (I'm interested to see what happens.) After that I was hoping to do some yoga to help my mental state - but DA BEARS play tonight so I don't think I'll have time!

Kyli - Regarding your tenderness - is this new after ET? Or has this been since ER? I was only tender after ER and only for two days - but everyone is different.

I was very tender after ER for about 3 days, then it was only tender if I applied any pressure to my belly (like a seat belt). I'm back to being very tender again since day 5 ET. It has been two days since ET and I'm still very sore. ET wasn't hard on me at all so I don't understand what would make me tender. I've always had really really bad cramps my whole life so I "think" I have a high threshold for pain. This isn't like normal cramps, my belly is just very tender.
