Waitingfor4, thanks for sharing your tip on the ginger beer. I'll have to look for it now. I wonder if I could get away with fooling my friends into thinking it's real beer? I still haven't told them yet (waiting for 12 weeks) and we have a party to go to so I know they'll ask why I'm not having cocktails.

Pixelgirl, best of luck to you today! Can't wait for your next post!

tick, tick, tick, tick, tick (visual of the clock in "the breakfast club" ticking forward twice and then ticking backwards...)

i just came from giving blood for the test and now i wait... DH desperately wants to be with me when we get the news so i'm leaving early from work at 2pm and told the office to wait until at least 2:30 to call so that we can be together.

tick tick tick...

Hi ladies.... I just wanted to stop and once again thank everyone who has supported me thru this cycle and beyond. It still has been hard to accept the BFN.. but I am managing, hopeing and praying that the next time will be the one. Just trying to prepare myself in the meantime.

I may check in for a few more times to see how the rest of the Oct/Nov/Dec girls make out. I just wanted to wish u all good luck and congrats to the ones that got their BFPs. ANd to those that got their BFNs, hope u can join me in the Jan/Feb/Mar forum.. which I hope to produce.

Pixelgirl... good luck to you today. Hope u get your BFP.

hi everyone i just want to check in and let everyone know i saw the heart beats today. is there anyone out there that has been preg with twins and not had morning sickness. i am going on week 7 and so far so good. but i heard with twins it was suppost to be twice as bad and that morning sickness is a good thing. could progest shots and the estrogene patches help with morning sickness?

KKE - Some people never get morning sickness. It isn't a bad sign, just because you don't have it. Be grateful. Congrats on seeing the heart beats. I am sure that was really special. On the Pg after treatment boards there is a section for twins/triples, I would go on there and get some advice.

Lady J - I am sure I will be seeing you on a board Feb/March time frame. Hopefully will find out more of a specific time at my appt tonight.

Marynaz - Good luck with you U/S.

Marynaz- my first u/s was pretty easy. got there on time, they made me empty my bladder and the scan took about 15 minutes. the consult was fairly quck to so I think I was out of there after about 25 minutes. Nothing major :) Hope all goes well

Anxiously awaiting Pixel's beta.....

anyway, I have a question. Last time I had a BFP but there was no detectable heartbeat at 6 and 7 wks. I am so fearful that would happen again - anyone heard of it happening twice to someone? I'm trying to tell myself that the chances of it happening twice in a row must be slim, but I don't know.

hi everyone! sorry i haven't been on in a while-with the holidays things sure do get busy! we had our last RE appointment yesterday-twins are measuring right on schedule at 8w1d and 7w6days! HR's were great 161 and 153. the only thing i was worried about was the gestational sac for baby a was a bit small although the crown/rump length was normal. The RE said the baby might not be as strong as baby B but if he/she has made it this far with a strong heartbeat he/she should be ok. does anyone have any experience with this? We see our OB for the first time next week- so excited!
good luck to everyone having US's this week!
