sprouthaus - how are you feeling today? Give yourself some time. You have plenty of time for more follicles to appear. Also, it only takes one. The one that is suppose to be your baby. Hope your massage went great and you are feeling good again. This is such a roller coaster.

Annie973 - yay on 13! Let us know how they progress. Your ET will be here before you know it and you can join me on the 2WW.

not hopeless yet - good luck on the stim start. Keep us updated.

KMHTTC - hope you are feeling good and the stimming goes smoothly.

Gigi-29 - we will survive this 2WW. This is my first day of 5 days of bed rest that my doctor requires. It is a long time. I think our Christmas miracles are on the way.

Kyli - Welcome! Glad you are here. We will need some support over the next few weeks.

natashamom - I always worry a little about the shots right before my DH gives it to me, but it never ends up being that bad. I hope the 19th comes fast for your.

I had my ET this morning. We transferred 3 blasts. I have been feeling pretty positive about everything all day. I just know it is going to be a struggle to keep up the PMA during the whole 2 weeks. My beta is the 22nd.

Thinking of everyone. Hope your are all doing well and feeling happy :-)

wishing4baby - 5 days of bed rest?? Wow - that is a really long time. I hope you have some good books! My doc only requires 24 hours and I was pretty much going nuts by then so I couldn't imagine 5 days but the doc's know what's right so good luck to you!!

Kyli - I was really tender after my ER for about 3 or 4 days. I was begining to think something was wrong, my belly was extremely bloated. But things started to go back to normal and when I went in for my 5 day transfer things were just about fine. I hope you get to feeling better. Everyone's bodies react differently to this process, remember that.

So I am back from another session of being poked and proded this morning. There are 16 follies in there ranging in size from 16 to 11.5. Just wanted to share my update...
I am bloated and my pants are TIGHT! I am thankful that it is the weekend so I can change out of my work pants and into some comfy yoga pants. TGIF!

Sprouthaus - Did you get a fertility massage? What is that and where do you get something like that done? A regular spa? It sounds like something that I may need to treat myself to :D

Hi everyone, I hope all are well. JennJenn - we haven't heard from you in a while. I believe your ER is today so I hope everything is going smoothly for you. Your E2 is so high - you will have many good eggs and then embies!

I think we are due for a 'list' update - so I'll get right on that. If any dates have changed - let me know, and I'll edit the list.

My fertility massage was great. KMHTTC - I would definitely recommend a massage regardless of type during this process! My masseuse specializes in fetility massage and she works directly with my OM Dr. (Oriental Medicine, i.e. acupuncturist). She did a lot of normal massage techniques but she also worked on some reflexology points that help nourish the ovaries. She also did a lot of abdominal work (that you wouldn't get in a regular massage) and I swear it put me into a trance. I was really bummed because I fell asleep - which I hate to do during a massage - I'd rather be awake to enjoy every second!

Also - congrats on your follies! It sounds like you are cycling quite nicely and will have GREAT quality eggs. My next monitoring appt is tomorrow so fingers crossed for me

wishing4baby - I haven't updated the list yet, so I can't keep everything straight. Are you doing FET? Is that why RE says 5 days bedrest? On the one hand, it sounds excruciating - on the other hand, it sounds amazing. I love being in bed :D

natashasmom - Jan 19 is just around the corner. I am so excited for you!

Well....off to update the list. (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))

Thanks for the update on the list Sprouthaus! Sounds like we all have a lot of activity going on this week into next week.
Also, thanks for the info on the massage. I'm going to see if I can find a place by me that specializes in fertility massages... I go to accu as well so maybe my guy knows of someone...

Yes I get to start Gonal-F tonight! I've used this med on 3 previous cycles but only 112units. They're starting me off at double the dose so I'm praying for double the # follicles than I've gotten previously. Sound right?
How are you feeling?

I feel great! I feel a lot less bloated after my fertility massage yesterday. Don't know if that is good or bad though. My pants don't feel tight and tomorrow will be day 8 of stims. I am still hoping for the best and trust that this cycle will be all it can be. : ) Of course there is a tiny part of me that wishes this cycle were going better; but for the most part, I am able to keep these thoughts away and just be happy I am where I am. It must take a lot of work though because I fell asleep during my massage yesterday - and then during the 3rd quarter of Da Bears game last night! Very unlike me

I hope you are right - that double the dose will be double the follies! And even more important - double the eggs :D When will be your first monitoring visit?

So I start stims tonight and go for prelim bloodwork on Sun. If it goes like my past 3 cycles then I"ll see them exactly every other day til trigger. I usually take the train to work except when I'm doing fertility treatment and drive to the doctor for testing. But having the car next week for monitoring will be nice because I can meet girlfriends for lunch and get last minute holiday shopping done instead of being locked into a train schedule.
I know next week will fly by because I have 3 holiday parties, 2 brunch-and-learns at work, and before I know it Christmas and ER will be here the following week. It feels like the weeks zoom by yet the days are torturously slow. I'm checking these boards literally 100 times a day. I don't know if that helps or hurts me. :)

not hopeless yet - With your schedule next - next week is sure to fly by! I hope traffic won't be too bad too since you'll be driving :P I live in Chicago and traffic can be a nightmare - driving all over to get to appts doesn't help my stress level

Traffic in Boston is horrendous... my commute is 24mi door to door and takes a minimum of 1.5hr each way. I do find myself more stressed when I drive than when I take the train. But atleast i'll only have to do it every other day for the next two weeks. Then after my BFP ( :) i'm thinkin' positive over here!) I'll get to relax on the train.

Have a good weekend everybody!
