Hey everyone! Sounds like everyone is doing good.

Annie - congrats on the 5 day transfer. Can't wait for you to join me on the 2ww.

Sprouthaus - glad to hear you are feeling better. That is really all we have...positive thoughts :-).

I am going a little crazy in bed. Don't know why my RE requires 5 days in bed, but I will try anything. I have been talking to my 3 babies all day and night...telling them to snuggle in really good.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. :-)

I posted this to another topic but i just wanted to mention that my ET is scheduled for Wednesday, 12/17. They revrieved 18 eggs and 13 have fertilized. I am currently being monitored for OHSS. I have to watch my weight, measure my stomach and watch for nausea, vominting, dizziness etc. I was not expecting to be in so much pain. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain but my ER was no match. It was painful. I remember telling DH (pre-ER) that since i was a high responder that I wouldnt mind having a cycle just to donate. I dont think I can handle the pain and discomfort a second time. Hopefully, this is a BFP becasue it is a really trying process. I dont know if my body can hadle this again. I could barely walk and I had to climb 4 flights of stairs to my apartment. I did not expect this at all. I thought just a little cramping. Maybe a little backache. :? OMG.

Anywho....on a better note (it is the holidays)...I am cautiously awaiting the ET. Seems like i will have my beta around New Years. My friends want me and DH to go to Vegas for Neew Years. They dont know we are going through this process. They just look at me wierd when I turn down a drink. (I love my margaritas!).

Good luck to everyone having their betas, ER, and ETs this week and next! December seems like a really busy month! Happy Holidays everyone! :D

JennJenn - I am really surprised you are in so much pain. I am curious do they put you to sleep during the procedure? I've had ER twice now and have never been in any pain. Does your RE act like this is normal???

Jenn Jenn- sorry to hear you are in so much pain. At least you got a lot of great embryos growing for you. I am sure you will start feeling better in a few days.

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.

I am getting of sick of this bed rest thing and I still have until tuesday until I can get up. It just leaves too much time to think. I have been reading and watching movies, but the distractions aren't working anymore and my back is killing me. Thanks for listening to me complain. :-)

Happy baby thoughts to all!

JennJenn--I remember doing my ER and they retreived 20 follicles and 13 were fertilized and frozen. I was in so much pain I could hardly move or go to the bathroom. The doctor waited a week and did and u/s and told me I had developed OHSS and it was best to freeze the embroys until my body got back to normal. I never expected it to hurt so much and it was really a big surprise. This was my first IVF and even though I would do it again, I will say it hurt like hell.

I am scared to have the FET because it might hurt all over again. Try to relax and take some pain meds, my RE said after AF I would feel better and boy was he right. I hope you dont have to freeze and could do the ET as planned. Keep me posted.

not hopeless yet-- how is stimming going?

wishing 4 baby--only a few days left for the best rest :D it must be hard just staying in bed but it will all be worth it with a BFP :D

Everyone else that I did not mention have a happy Sat/Sun

I've not been posting because I have a horrible cold. I've been trying to rest and get better, but it doesn't seem to be working.

JennJenn... Sorry to hear you're in such pain from the ER. I have my ER this Wednesday and was thinking I could go back to work Thursday, but after reading your post (and BarbD's too) I'm now second-guessing it. My RE said that I "could " go back but if I could take it off, I should. My first IVF was so long ago, I can't remember how I felt the day after. I know I took the day off because I was told I should, but I thought I remember thinking I could've worked that day. It wasn't that bad for me.

Wishing4baby... I remember my back hurting from all the resting. What really helped was a warm compress. I have an herbal pillow that I heat up and put on it. It helped a little. Hang in there. Time is almost over.

Annie...Congrats on making it to Day 5! I hope I get as lucky as you! Can't wait to hear how many go to blast!! Yay!!

Hello ladies,

I hope your weekends are treating you all well and you are surviving your wait for ER/ET or 2ww. My emotions have been so up and down the last couple of days but thankfully I have so many positive people around me helping to keep me going.

The last two days I have had some cramping but the worst part is my lower back. It has gotten to a point that it is hard to sleep. If I remember right this is a side effect of the pogesterone? I feel like my period is going to start and I have been eating like crazy. I was scared to get on the scales this morning and was surprised to see I've actually lost weight. I'm hoping this is all normal and by Friday my beta will be positive. I feel like a maniac, one minute I'm like "I'm so pregnant, this is awesome." The next moment I'm like "I'm so not pregnant, how am I going to handle this." Add in there eating lots of food and having to pee all the time and you have my entire day over and over.

Well I must be going, please know that I'm praying for each on of you.

Hi everyone - I hope all had a pleasant weekend. It feels like there is a never ending list of things to do before the holidays. :P

Gigi - Let us know your results today. I am rooting for you.

annie973 - How did your transfer go? How many? Did you have any left to freeze?

JennJenn - Congrats on your ER! 13 is great! Great news too that you can proceed forward with ET - that high of an estrogen level must be rough, rough, rough! Don't worry about ET - it is NOTHING like ER. I felt no pain during ET or after. All bloating, discomfort, etc was only from ER.

KMHTTC - Good luck with ER tomorrow. May you be blessed with many healthy eggs.

Kyli - Good luck staying sane in 2ww :P Thank you for your prayers.

ann d. - I hope you start feeling better soon. Cycling is tough enough without throwing in a cold.

BarbD - Don't worry about your FET. From my understanding, it is just like a fresh ET - you should have no pain or discomfort during the transfer or after.

wishing4baby - I'm guessing you've seen "It's a Wonderful Life" about 300 times by now - try to set a new world record

I went in for monitoring Saturday and again this morning. Not much to report because this cycle is anything but stellar. Putting all my energy towards not being negative. Of course, you all know - it is frustrating when things don't turn out how we hoped. My RE tried a new protocol in hopes of getting more follies, but I have less than 1/2 of what I had with my last protocol. Feeling a bit let down by RE - but also know it is all a bit of trial and error. Can't help but feel like my money is running out quickly for a cycle that should've been cancelled.

So - I'll stop being Debbie Downer now! The good news is that I have 7 follies going strong all about the same size. Heck, some women would kill for 7 follies so I will just believe that they are all A+++ quality and I'll have 2 to transfer and 5 to freeze! :D

Kyli - I SO know what you are talking about. One minute I know it worked and the next minute I am so nervous about how I am going to handle another BFN. I eat and go to the bathroom and lay in bed. I know how you feel but we will get through this. I keep trying to think it can happen for us too. Hang in there.

ann d - hope your cold is better. Hang in there. Thanks for the advice on the bed rest. One day left, I will make it.

KMHTTC - I am thinking of you. Let us know how the ER went. Hope you have lots of eggs.

Gigi29 - I am praying for you. Start us off great with a BFP!!!!!

Sprouthaus - glad to hear you are staying positive. 7 follicles is great! But I understand the feeling of throwing your money at things that aren't a sure thing. We kind of all are gambling with this, with there being no guarantees. But the day we hold our babies in our arms, which we all will, we won't care about the cost, the tests, the waiting. It will be worth it. Hang in there.

Happy Monday. My Beta is a week from today. I hope the time flies by.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to post a quick update. I transferred two blasts yesterday! We tried to get the RE to transfer three but he wouldnt go for it.....as of yesterday we had 10 blasts left (not including the two we transferred) so I guess whatever made it to today will be frozen. I won't know how many for a week or two. My beta is 12/23! I think I am going to start POAS on Saturday....or is that 2 soon?

Annie973 - congrats and welcome to the 2WW. 10 blasts is great. At least you have the comfort of know there will be frozens. Your beta is a day after mine. We will make it through this.

I have been fighting with myself on doing an HPT. I don't know if I should. Part of me wants to so bad, but the other part wants to keep all the hope alive.

What do the rest of you girls think?
