No, they won't tell me anything. It's kind of a known thing with them, don't even ask because it's not going to happen! Some of the girls sign a waiver at Quest to find out on the first beta, and the girl that wheeled us out on the day of ET said that just pi***s them off. I really can wait. Like I said, this is a breeze compared to last time! These girls I'm cycling with are dying and thinking this is the longest wait ever, they just have no idea!

Robbo~ This is completely self pay and technically it's my 3rd try. I did one fresh and one frozen and none of it has been covered by insurance. My insurance was pretty much eaten up on the 6 IUI attempts we've done through the years.

Thank you girls all so much for all your thoughts and prayers. You guys are the best! Still havin' lots of cramping and back pain. So far no more spotting.
I'll keep you guys updated.

Jenn- You are always so sweet to keep track of me and what I do. Yes, it is almost time for Christmas break. We actually only have 4 days left, but who is counting?????? THe kids have been bouncing off the wall for over a week now. I finally told the kids that if they continued misbehaving they would not have a party. MEAN, MEAN, MEAN me.
I hope you have been feeling well. I am sure Anna will make a wonderful big sister. I am envious that it happened natural for you. Sure makes life easier (and cheaper) for you.

Okay, so I'm trying to read back through the posts...I can't believe it's been more than a month since I was last on here. Jeesh, time flies!

Jenn, I just came across you asking about Lucy's eating. Are you still having problems with Anna? I was trying to think back...I never really gave her baby food we just went right to the real stuff. Sweet potatoes were probably the first vegetable she really liked. I think she had them every night for weeks on end! I'd just stick one in the oven at 375 degrees for like an hour and viola, mashed potatoes! She was a lot like Anna, and just went for the sweet stuff. Loved bananas and really any fruit that you put in front of her. Still does. After sweet potatoes, it was green beans. Just remember that babies don't like change and so they resist new foods. Keep giving them to her and eventually she'll eat them, I promise! (Well, except avacado, Lucy hates it.) Lucy is a great eater now....she eats anything (For the most part) that I put in front of her. The only problem is that she has to feed it to herself. I can't feed it to her. Luckily, she's already mastered using a spoon. She is so stubborn.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I'm hanging in there. Not thinking about having another one, yet...am too busy with Lucy to start getting paranoid about getting pregnant again. Plus, my sister is getting married in Cancun in August, so would like to be in good form for that. Maybe after that the "oh my god, can I get pregnant again" paranoia will start to set in! I'm still trying to lose this blasted weight, too. I'm such a lazy bum. Blah, anyway my dh and I have started a new regime this week, so we'll see if we can make it. Holidays are going to be tough, but oh well!

Good night!

Hi girls!

So last night I finally had one, a negative day. DH and I have been SO positive about this whole thing the entire time. Never once had we let it even enter our minds that it didn't work. Tina, like you said we read the book "The Secret" and I actually even went as far as making poster boards with words and babies, and things from magazines and posting them around the house! So anyway...last night, getting ready for work, I started to have what I thought were AF cramps. And I know, I know people say that's what "they feel" before a BFP but it really made me nervous. So I went to work last night (what a great place to be when your feeling down about this is a Labor & Delivery floor!) and had the low cramps and heartburn all night. So I told myself, I know it's early but I want to know something. So...I took a test this afternoon when I got up and there they were.....2 beautiful lines!!! We are, of course, sooo excited. I sent dh an e-mail and said "would it brighten your day if I told you...you're going to be a daddy?" with pictures of the test.
I can't wait to hear my betas tomorrow!

Still waiting.....

So, I went to Quest this morning to, of course, have my beta drawn. The lady says "there's no test written on here". They forgot to check the box that says hcg. So I ask her "can I just do it?" and of course she says "no". So the office didn't open until nine so she tells me "I can draw it but I can't send it until I call and get an order". So, at 10 (the office opens at 9), I call and the person I talked to didn't think they had called yet. So I try to call the lab and it goes straight to a message. So guess what my psycho a** does? I drove back up there! One thing you can't do is mess with an IVF'er on beta day! So she said yes it had been sent. So it might be delayed a little but I should still hear this afternoon.

I will let you know, first thing (well after I call my husband!!) when I hear something.

Oh Nickster, this is exciting!! I am very happy that things are looking positive. Sorry about the stuff around with the testing...I think the sistas may need to get into the sistahood station wagon and head over there to kick some ass for ya.

Looking forward to your results!

Hi to the other sistas, Mego and Robbo, fantastic to hear from you both.

It's 2.30am here, Rio has decided to get up and play...

I'd better go and join in...

AHHHHHHHH!!!!! I just knew it!! Nickster I am sorry I have been gone these last couple days, I had the stomach virus. YUCK!! I would rather pull all my hair out strand by strand than have the stomach virus! I am waiting for your beautiful betas. I have to take Anna to the Dr. at 2 and hopefully by the time I get home you will have heard. Oh I am so excited for you!!!

Meg~ thanks for the sweet pot. idea. I think she will love it! That is her fav. baby food. I think her problem is more she doesn't want to pick anything up. If she doesn't like the way it feels, she throws it on the floor. The dog loves it since we have never given her table food, but mommy and daddy are about to lose it!!

Gotta run- I am days behind now since my little virus came to town! I'll be back to see Nicksters good news later!!
Jenn
