Ladies:

My ET went very smoothly yesterday. My embie was a 4 cell embie and the embryologist said it looked like it was getting ready to start dividing again before transfer. She said it was graded between a 2 and 3 (on a scale of 1 - 4) with some fragmentation. She did say that the grade will sometimes improve as the embie advances along and that I should not be concerned. I just need for DH to get my pineapple at the grocery store today, as it is supposed to aid in implantation. I was on very limited activity yesterday, as I was supposed to be sitting or lying down most of the day. Today I can have light activity around the house, but I'm planning to still be careful. I can resume normal activity tomorrow.

Lynnie: How are you doing?

Elida: The 1st trimester is the one where you feel the most tired. Once you get to the 2nd trimester, you will have more energy.

Take care all,
Tammy

Good afternoon, Ladies!!!

Unfortunately, my Mother had a burst appendix so I have been preoccupied with that situation... Luckily she is stable now and will make a full recovery---now I am just worried about my Dad who has not slept since it happened. (Last Tuesday night!)

Anyway, I am just catching up on all the great news on "the board". Lynnie it was SO great to read that your beta had doubled!!! :-) Now hopefully you can relax and enjoy "the ride"!!!!!

Tammy congrats on the smooth transfer--I hope the 2ww goes by quickly for you!!!!!

Elida have you tried acupuncture for MS? I heard it helps....

Kelly, thank you so much for your kind words and keeping the board updated!!!!! I began my cycle this past Thursday (I almost did not do it because of my Mom BUT I was afraid my husband would change his mind about doing another cycle so I did not want to wait......Lynnie, that is why I have decided against CCRM at his point. It would be TOO hard to get my husband to agree to fly to Colorado for IVF.)

And a big hello to everyone! I hope you are enjoying the weekend!

Right or Left ovary?

Post by Sisi1 »

Hello everyone,

This summer had a chance to do 4 back to back cycle monitoring.
I noticed a pattern that I got much better (like 50% more follicles) when it was the left ovaries turn.

Has anyone else experienced this or am I a freak of nature?

I can't possibly imagine there has not been a discussion about this here already? Please let me know where if you can :D

Looking forward to get to know y'all and sharing the experience.... :?

Hi ladies, I am very sorry I am to tired to do personals this evening.

I had my second US this afternoon. DH and I are happy to annouce that baby C has pulled through and looks wonderful. her sac is measuring perfect as is she , she is actually measuring 8w 3d and her HR was 174..
Babies A and B were right on target also with HR's at 163 and 169...

We are so thrilled about baby C that we have decided that we will keep close tabs on her location and when she is born her name is to be Angelina.. Our strong lil Angel..

Well ladies I am off to bed, it has been a very long day.

Much sticky baby dust to all

Lynniecat: That is wonderful news!!

Elida: Wonderful news about your little Angel!

Sisi1: Welcome to our site. With my first IVF, the RE only retrieved 3 eggs but with my 2nd IVF, he retrieved 12 using the same protocol.

Regards,
Tammy

Sis thanks for the congrats on baby C...

Lynnie, You are doing fine, as long as your betas are doubling you are doing great. go to betabase.com it has stats on betas there...My prayers are with you. I know this is your time.. (((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))

Teacher, I am telling you tired is an understatment. I know it is the Placenta forming that is wiping me out, I cannot wait until next month so I can regain my energy... Thank goodness I have an amazing DH who just wants me to rest and relax. He does not let me lift a finger.. It s very cute actually how he worries about everything I do!!!

Off totake a nap.

OK, why do I always have to learn things the hard way? I just got back from my RE and it has been six days of stimming and I only have TWO follicles "committed"...At this time last cycle I had NINE!!!!! I guess my poor old body was just not up to back to back cycles....If we do not see more by Sunday than we are going to switch to an IUI....SO BUMMED.

Anyway, Lynnie congrats on the doubling betas!!!! SOOOOO exciting!!!!

Sisi1, welcome!!!!
Tammy, I hope your embryos are snuggling in tight !!!!
Rhonda and Elida, I hope you are getting all the rest you need to support those precious little ones...:-)

Kelly, are you about ready to start stimming? Whoooo-Hooooooo!

Cheers,
Hilary

Hil,

Sorry that is F****** bummer!!!

Better be first rate quality!

I can't help myself I have to ask, is that the same side ovary or the other one? Did you ovulate between cycles?

I am so interested in this, someone told me everyone had a "lead" ovary that is more active then the other and the responce can vary greatly!

Elida, i am sorry i called you Rhonda. I know who you are. My brain had a spasm or something.

Hil, it is still a little early i bet you will see more on Sunday.

Kris and Helen how are the twins?

Lynn, Tammy any news?

Yep, Hil, it won't be long now. It is hard for me to get too excited because of the CGH/Banking i won't being doing a transfer for 6 months or so. So it is all feeling a little anticlimactic to me.

Hello to everybody else. Later

Hil --- that does suck! I typically would have 4 committed on day 6....

I am not sure how they count or what they count. My sonographer would measure everything she saw bigger than 6 for me as I had so little.

I hope more grow and I wonder if you should cancel to save money or do the IUI? If its not much more do the IUI. I know people who have gotten preggers from a converted cycle! I never did IUI and often wondered if that would work better for me even with my small numbers of eggs.

Oh and what day are we starting Stims kelly? I am so behind on reading the board.

My beta today at 22 DPO is 1991, up from 676 48 hours earlier.

I am having some serious stabbing pains in the center of my uterus (I think that is where it is) right now. OWWWW! Hope is ok. Nurse said go to ER only if it gets really bad, but its probably my uterus stretching out.
