Wow... sounds like we have a lot of activity going on.

Sprouthaus... good luck with the trigger and ER. I'm thinking of you!!! So you're doing the trigger tonight and have your ER on Wednesday? I can't remember how early the triggers are before ER. Anyone know?

Annie973... great news about your ET!! Like I've said before, I hope I get as luck as you! I hope our embies go to blast, and I really want to transfer 3. My RE said if we did a 3-day transfer, we would only put 3 back, but we never talked about how many we would put back if we have 5-day embies. I just assumed it would be the same amount. Hmmmm...

Gigi and Kyli... sounds like you two have some good news coming along the way!! Keeping my fingers crossed for both of you!!

Kyli... the cramping feelings are normal. Many women I've read about on this board talk about cramping and then getting a BFP. If you're on your progesterone, you won't get your period. At least that's what my nurse told me during my first IVF. Try to keep up the PMA. I know it's hard, but that's why we're here... to help!

As for me... my RE says it looks like I won't do my ER until Thursday. It looks like I have several follies; but I can't tell how many are the right length. He tells the nurse the lengths so fast, I can't keep them straight. He says he wants the follies to be around 20mm, but my lengths seem to be all over the place. I'm trying not to let that bother me. You all know how that goes...

As for HPTs.... I didn't do one during my first IVF. And it was a blind-sighted feeling when I got my BFN. For my FET, I thought I would do it, but never did... didn't want to let my hopes down. I got a BFP and it was worth the wait. Unfortunately, I m/c. I have an HPT in my bathroom but I honestly don't know what I'm going to do this time around.

ann d. - Good luck as you continue to stim! I think my RE told me that about 36 hours after your hCG shot, your body will ovulate - so they try to harvest close to that time - but before ovulation occurs. I think my RE goes for around 30 hours - erring on the side of caution that some woman might ovulate early. Do you know if you will trigger tonight or Wed?

I know how you feel about follie sizes - I'm hoping the 5 I do have can manage to keep growing together! I had a couple others that stopped growing over the past few days - so I need the rest to do all they can :P

wishing4baby - Will you be celebrating festivus with the rest of us? Here at work we have been looking for an aluminum pole to put up and are looking forward to the tradition of "airing our grievances". Do you remember this episode? George's dad invented a new holiday....

As for HPT, I really want to avoid it this time around - BUT, I also believe that one should never say never. Also, if my beta is after NYE - I will probably POAS before NYE just to see if it is safe to have a glass of champagne at midnight 8)

Just wanted you all to know I'm thinking about you today. There's a lot of activity in this group with ER, ET, HPT, etc. As for me on all previous cycles my curiousity got the best of me and I couldn't resist doing a HPT (or two...) all BFN. I know it will be tough for me to hold out this time but I think since it'll be our only attempt at IVF I want to wait. Maybe its just superstition but I'm hoping this is THE one. And I'm hoping for BFP for all of us!!!

Sprouthaus stay strong for those 5 lil follies. Good luck with ER tomorrow.

Hi Everyone, I am back from my ER and feel pretty disappointed. They got 6 eggs but I had 20 follies so they were expecting many more. I had 14 the last time so just feel really let down now. I don't understand what happened. I did accupuncture this time, ate right and did yoga. Sorry I am so gloomy right now.
Ok, I am off to get som rest.

KMHTTC - I am soooo sorry for your disappointment. I know PMA is so difficult at times like these - get some rest and perhaps try some deep breathing. Sometimes that helps me turn my mood around. I am doing my best to keep my PMA up because I feel I'll be in your situation tomorrow - but with only 5 follies, I am fearing we will have no eggs.

Like not hopeless yet said: It only takes one - the one that is meant to be YOUR baby. I believe that your baby is there in the 6 eggs and I am thinking of your eggs today while they fertilize.

Thanks so much gals! I appreciate your kind words and the positive thoughts you are sending my way. I just had a little cry fest but am going to try some deep breathing and relaxation to get my PMA back. Ugh this process stinks! Good luck tomorrow Sprouthaus... I know you will do great.

KMHTTC - That's the way to do it! Let it flow and let it go

I am going to leave work early today and do some meditation at home. I would do yoga - but my abdomen is really sore today (I guess the hCG shot is really getting those follies ready :?: ). I also have acupuncture tonight so I should be in a pretty good mental state for tomorrow.

NHY - Thanks for keeping our spirits up - it doesn't go un-noticed that you always have kind and supportive words for us!

Go follies go :!: :!: :!: :!:

good for you sprouthaus - acupuncture and meditation before ER!

my belly is getting sore too and its only been 4 days since I started stimming. I had initial bloodwork which estrogen was 101 on Sunday and went in this morning for blood/us. They called to say estrogen is 299 and multi follies on each side but too small to measure. I go back in on Fri for more monitoring. I have no idea what the estro #s mean but I'll keep you all posted.

oh and one more silly thing... a lady at work (i've only confided in two people & my mom that we're doing IVF) gave me "fertility" earrings that someone gave her 20 years ago.
She said she wore them one time and got PG with her son! Ever since then she said they've been in a drawer and everytime she opens the drawer she's like "yikes, no!" but she knows I've been ttc for a while so...
Gals, I have them on today and hope they bring us all good luck. :) I don't really believe in things like that but thought "what the heck I might as well wear them" and I figured this little anecdote would make some of you smile.

NHY - I love your story - wear those earings proud and strong!

Your numbers look good to me. If today is day 4 of stimming, then you started on Friday, right? My RE only monitors starting day 5 (but I'm also a low responder) and they require Estrogen of 100 or greater on day 5. Since you got that after 2 days - I'd say you look good!

We had 12 follies last week and Friday on ER day, we only got 6 embryos. I was very disappointed!! This is our second try and I couldn't bear to not have any left to tfr. The good news is that on Monday, we transferred 4. Good luck and you'll know soon.

Here's to hoping for morning sickness;-)

KMHTTC.. Sorry to hear about your let down. I wish our IVF journey would be easier on us. I am often amazed how we are all able pick ourselves up and continue fighting until we have our babies! I know that this board really helps a lot and I hope you get your PMA back soon! I know it will come back!

Sprouthaus...I trigger tonight at 10:30 and will have my ER on Thursday with a possible transfer day of Saturday or Monday. I will be thinking of you tomorrow. I KNOW you will have eggs!!

dagnymichelle..That's great that your transferred 4! Is this your first IVF? Good luck to you!!

I'm letting my mind get the best of me. I've been thinking why I wasn't ready for my ER "on time" like I was on my first round. Now I'm starting to wonder how many eggs I will have come Thursday. I hope it's a good number... or just good enough to have a baby!
