Hi everyone,

So sorry havn't checked in for a while.

Karen, that is super news your pg Congratulations, I am really happy for you and your DH, good luck with everything, I hope its an easy ride for you. :) :) Your first beta is a great number let us know how you get on.

Priya: It is great to have you back. I too have been MIA and it looks as though Iwill be joining you in the wait until next year. I have not been ovulating so my doctor has changed my dosage of metformin in the hope it will kick start ovulation. It is making me feel really unwell though, nausea and stomach cramps, no fun.
I hope you enjoy your break from ivf, I'm going to try to.

Angela; I hope your spotting has stopped and your able to get some rest from the worry, it truly is exhausting for you. Take it easy my friend. :)

My sister had her baby on 17th november and he is beautiful. Lets hope its my turn next, my sister has been very kind and thoughtful which helps.

Hope everyone else is doing well, my thoughts are with you always.
Take care
Kerry xxx

Hey guys --

So my update is that I got a BFP on 13 DPO. But I started bleeding brown with clots, lots of clots, brown but scarey looking. That is finally tapering off and I hope it stays off now. Its 20 DPO for me. I have had 3 betas:

14 DPO : 34
16 DPO: 96
20 DPO: 676

My numbers are low, but doubling. I have my fingers crossed, but with the low HCG and the bleeding I am worried.

Its a wait and see game right now. Man, I really want this to be it for me!

Hope everyone is doing well!

sorry i haven't been in touch for so long. everything had been going great with my pregnancy til last night. large clot came out, with tissue in it, and a gush of blood.

went to hospital, had 2 more gushes of blood. none since. ER doc think's it was placenta of 2nd embie that didn't grow properly...(my hcg was high for 1 embie). ER u/s machine is sub-standard. they could see my fetus, vaguely saw a h/b, but i need to see radiologist today to confirm everything's ok. i could be m/c'ing............

i just had an u./s on friday, and it was 'perfect'...i so want everything to be ok. especially cause today was the due date from our last pregnancy that i m/c'd in june.

say a prayer forme, will find out in 3 hours...

i'm OK!!! saw the baby, h/beat is strong at 167..had a sub chorionic hematoma...this is still a danger for me, as if it bleeds more, it could wipe out the pregnancy, but this is unlikely....

thanks for your thoughts...how's everyone?

Do Not Lose Heart

Post by Towachi »

My dear friends here, Kerry, Priya, Karen, Angela, Sue, Lyin and all others that I have not mentioned, it has been quite an age. I have been missing in action due to to work and school. But scholo finally ended and I had to deal with the holidays still thinking about each and every one of you. I missed the interaction but still kept my hope that someday I will have time to come back here to interact with everyone. I am glad for the goodnews I have read so far, Karen, Lyn, and Angela, I pray that your joy is made full in Christ name.

I have not made any progess other than my period finally caming back after three months and I am still spotting after three weeks. I have scheduled an appointment with my doctor for January 6, have no intention of starting anything yet until I am done with my studies in March. I am hopeful that God who have started a good work in my life will complete it. I had thought that my body failed me when my AF refused to come, with all the hot-flashes that I was getting, but God is merciful to see my heart that I still desire a child and restored my AF.

Priya, I know you will be starting next year, when?

Sue, where are you sweetheart? Say hola

To all, Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year 2009. May our baby dreams come to pass in 2009 in Jesus name, Amen.

Love you all :D

Hello Towachi,

It is great to hear from you. I know you are so excited about your upcoming finish to your classes in March. How exciting...

Well, I hope everyone else is doing great as well. I have been doing very well. I am almost 14 weeks along and finally starting to feel a little bit better. I have my good days and I also have my bad days. I finally had to break down and buy maternity clothes as I couldn't fit into my regular clothes. This is the farthest I have ever been with any of my pregnancies so I don't know what to expect but I am looking forward to the rest of it.

Well, happy holidays to everyone!
