Sunshine - it sounds like your follies are growing nice and evenly which is a good sign, my sister grew her eggs for us and they retrieved 5 more than they had seen on her scan so sometimes they pop up or they are hiding and they cant always tell they are there. Its the quality that counts, sending lots of growing energy to you. Hope the reaction settles down. Do you have someone to confide in to help you through I cant imagine how hard it must be to do this alone. Will be thinking of you tommorrow.

lynniecat - Hi my middle name is Sara, I was a member of this board before but when we found out last year I could not concieve with my own eggs I was devastated and thought it was the end for us. It took me a long time to come to terms with not being able to have children and I could not bear to look at anything remotely to do with babies for a while. Then my sister came along and has given us another chance, I came back here but could not remember my password and have a different email address so had to log on again and as I had used Lee last time could not use it again. I am in a completely different place emotionally this time tho and feel so much better about everything including the possibility this still might not work. We have 4 frozen embryos if this little one does not make it, We will keep trying with them and if none of them work then I have all ready come to terms with my life. This time around is a chance I never thought I would get so I am lucky. Thankyou for the heartbeat vibes I shall return to you the beta vibe rise rise rise!!

Hope - What a week, sorry to hear about your uncle. Glad your DS is better, look on the bright side all this has happened before your embryo/s have been put in to grow so now the next couple of weeks should be easier for you. Your lining is now perfect ready for monday will be thinking of you and sending you lots of calming energy for monday morning.

Take Care everyone
Lee xx

Hope, I'm hoping you're not having terrible side effects. Keep us posted please.

Just got back from the doc's. They found a bunch of follicles today, most at about 13 and the rest smaller. I'm glad they're growing relatively at the same time. Back again on Monday. I suspect they'll tell me to take my HCG on Tuesday night (hoping Tuesday so I can go to my company holiday lunch/dinner on Wed). If they grew 2 since Thursday then by Monday they should be around 15, maybe 16, which means they'll have me come in on Tuesday and they should be about 17 (nice and ripe).

The reaction to the repronex has subsided, although yesterday was the day to go to the thigh for injections and I nicked my vein. So of course now I'm developing a nice black and blue (good times), and get to add that to my list of feeling like I have charlie horses on my tummy and thighs. My acupuncturist now has to be a little more careful of where she's placing the needles in my tummy since we don't want to prick in areas too close to the injection sites.

Hi

How is everyone doing? Sunshine good news on your follies, Hope have thise side effects all subsided yet or are you still suffering?? Lynniecat any news? Mally it was lovely to read your post. Have you started taking the fertil tea yet?

We are off tommorrow for our second scan, still having very positive pregnancy tests, sore boobs, no bleeding and nausea so feeling a bit more positive. Can you still have all these pregnancy symptoms if our little embie has died? I didnt have any the last time I miscarried but it was so long ago perhaps I have forgotton what I felt like.

Anyway will let you know tommorrow what they say, keep everything crossed for me.

Take Care

Hi sara- just read your post and your pregnancy sigb are a very good indication that things are progressing. when I did my first ivf and I was pregnant with twins my sysmptons were bad but then on he 11th week symptoms subsided somwhat and were more bearable and when I went in for a scan they found thatone of the twins baby b stopped growing. That expalined the lessening of the sysmptons.
Had the transfer done today. Everthing went well. Transfered 2 embies one 6 cell and the other 8 cell. The embriologist said that one started growing alreday and that the thawed out exactly like they had been brfore the freeze so things look good right now. Now I am in the 2WW and I am thrilled to be here ;). Speak to you all later

Sara - I hope everything is coming along nicely

Mally - good luck on your tests. Prayers for the little ones to grow grow grow

I went to the doc yesterday and most were around 17 or so. They had me come back today and I have a bunch at mostly 18 & 19 so the doc said to move forward with the HCG tonight. So I took my last shot minus the lupron this morning. My parents are coming over so I can get my shot in a few hours (I just can't reach around and do it without hurting my back). My retrieval date is set for Thursday morning at 8am. I know everything will be fine. The trick is the get the little bugger(s) to attach to the walls.

Prayers for us all!

Hi

Sadly there was no heartbeat and my little one had stopped growing at 6 weeks. The pregnancy sac was still intact and functioning which explains all the pregnancy symptoms. I have had a missed miscarriage and it could have taken another 4 to 5 weeks for a miscarriage to happen naturally so I chose to go into hospital today and let them take my little one away as I could not bear to go through another 4 or 5 weeks waiting for the inevitable.

I am sad, upset, feel disbelief at times but am very lucky in that we still have 4 embryos frozen so we have another chance. We will get ourselves past this and come to terms with it as we have got past the ones before. I have all ready booked another appointment as this is now going into 7 years of treatment for us and I feel there has to be an end at some point, so I don't want to delay we pick ourselves up and carry on, sometimes I just don't understand gods plan for me!!

I have drawn such strength from the women on this board and know there are many others who have been through so much more than us so thankyou for all of you :D

Sunshine - hope your shot went ok you are getting closer and closer to your BFP :D Your follie sizes sound perfect and what a brilliant number you have as well :D Good luck for tommorrow its getting exciting for you now.

Hope - thankyou for your words on your last post, your in the dreaded 2ww again! It never gets easier does it! :D How are you feeling, was your progesterone check ok? Glad to hear your embies were ok with the thaw, make sure you take it easy, when is your test day?

Mally - Hi how are you? Good to hear from you, like you I will keep checking back in to see how you ladies are doing if thats ok.

lynniecat - how are you doing are those beta levels rising?

Take care

Oh Sara, I'm so sorry. :( But yes you're right, there is a plan for all of us. I feel the same way as you at times. IVF is the absolute worst for all of us I'm sure. Getting a negative doing it naturally or with IUI is nothing compared to seeing the little ones actually placed and just praying they stay.

I do feel so alone at times, but I have to say I feel good having others who are understand what I'm going through. This one I'm doing in near secret from the rest of my family. Very few people know, because they don't understand what all of us are going through. They have the best of intentions, but it falls short a lot of the time.

Well my HCG shot went well. Of course I feel like I have a charlie horse on my left butt cheek as well as my thighs. Grrr. Have acupuncture tonight. Then after going to talk about going in maybe 2 more times before the transfer. Not sure what day the transfer will take place. Last one I asked them to do a day 5, but they only take it under advisement. They only put in 2 so they might wait as long as they can. Because they won't put in more than that no matter how much longer they wait.

Prayers and good thoughts for all of us

Sara honey i am soooooooo sad and sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and can only hope you find your strength to continue to try since you have 4 frosties left.... What did your re say might have been the problem? were you taking enough estrogen and progesterone or was it the embryo itself. I am sorry again and you are in my thoughts...

my appoitmet went fine today. My lining is looking good the re said and my beta is on Christmas eve and he will call the results into me on Christmas day. then my second beta is on the 26th Not sure if i want to know christmas day though. I think i will take a hpt just to mentally prepare for the results.... i will keep you all posted.

Lynniecat- haven't heard from you... how did your beta go on Monday?

Hugs to you all :)

Hi

Thanks for your thoughts and replies, its funny how sometimes it all means so much more from you guys on here than from those around us as you truly know how it feels! We are a group of strangers and yet we are united by one thing that brings a whole community of women and sometimes men together!

Anyway enough of the slushy stuff!! I have an appt on 19th Jan so will have a chat with the consultant but I suspect he will say its just one of those things.

Oooh Hope results on christmas day it has to be a good omen, I think I would be doing a hpt aswell.

Sunshine thinking of your little embies do you have any idea of how many have fertilised yet?

Sending lots of christmas sparkle to you all.
