Hi sprouthaus-
Stims are going well but my tummy is bruised and today I'm having left side pain. But I've experienced that with previous cycles and it doesn't surprise me since i'm on double the dosage of GonalF. Just about one more week and we're done- I can't believe it. They couldn't tell me how many follicles yet but I go in again tomorrow for monitoring.
I don't know if any of you are from MA but there's going to be about 12" of snow tomorrow and I have to drive to the RE in the morning and that afternoon go to therapy. Ugh! The last time there was a huge snowstorm it took me nearly 10hrs to get home and I had to ditch my car and jump on a train. If traffic is horrendous by the time I leave therapy I'm just going to abandon my car at the office and take a train.

Gigi... Congratulations!! What a great Christmas gift!! Enjoy the moment!

Sprouthaus... Congrats on your four embies! Grow embies!!!

Wishing4baby... Your Beta is coming soon... how exciting!!! Are you going to POAS??

Not Hopeless Yet... I'm never going to complain about weather again... not after hearing what you have to go through with the snow. I'm sure it looks beautiful and makes a perfect holiday picture, but not if you have to drive in it. Wow... that's crazy. My tummy got a little brusing from stimming, too, and since I've triggered I've been feeling sore at my injection site.

As for me, my ER is today. I'm a little nervous, I admit. We leave in about 30 minutes. I'm trying to keep up PMA... I'm really trying!!

ann d. - Don't be nervous! ER is simple, simple - the drugs make it real nice and comfortable. Both times I've had ER, I've felt more uncomfortable the following day - not bad at all the day of ER. Go figure. Also - I too had tenderness at the site of injection from my trigger shot - it really hurt for two days and made walking difficult. OH what we go through!

NHY - I do not live in MA, but we here in Chicago are also expecting 12 inches of snow starting this evening. We had 6 inches the night before my ER and the drive to the office took us over an hour instead of the normal 45 minutes. It was a little worrisome - especially knowing how important the timing of ER is. It is too much stress and I told my husband if this cycle doesn't work - that we should take some time off before trying again. This way I'll be able to a) rest my body, b) not deal with winter emergencies and c) complete some overdue travel for work that I have been delaying. I'm not about to take fetility drugs with me on a plane to the Middle East!

Anyway - good luck with your winter weather. 10 hrs is definitely too long to be spending commuting!!!!!!!

you're exactly right Sprouthaus... I have family in Iowa and whatever the Midwest gets, we get a day or two later. So hunker down and rest before ET. :) and as far as ER goes if the weather is bad I will get up at 4am if I have to... hehehehehe.

Annd - can't wait to hear how you do today. Let us know how many embies you have. Are you feeling better from the cold?

NHY - sorry to hear about the trek you have to make tomorrow. What we do for our babies :-)...Let us know how you do and be careful.

KMHTTC - how are you doing? Let us know how the transfer goes.

sprouthaus - how are you feeling? How are your embies doing? Have you gotten an update?

Kyli - how are you doing?

I am off bed rest and back to work. Trying to stay positive. My DH and I were discussing taking a HPT. I still am fighting with myself. Maybe I will do one this weekend. I am feeling crampy this morning, which makes me nervous that my period is coming. But I also have never had cramping at this point after a transfer. AHHH...I can go crazy analyzing every twinge.

W4B - Analyzing every twinge and cramp is our perogative on the 2ww. I've got my hopes up for you - and I have a good feeling you will continue the trend Gigi started (BFP)!

I am feeling ok today - probably because my ovaries never got very big with only 5 follies. I just had lunch and of course I feel uncomfortable and full now - even though I didn't eat much. No word yet from the embryologist. Still praying they all fertilized (or at least some...)

NHY - I know how you feel. I made my husband leave 1 1/2 hours early for our appt because I couldn't deal with the idea of being late! No sign of snow yet here - predictions say anywhere between 3pm and midnight for it to start. At the first sign of snowflakes - I'm leaving work.

Well natasha first of all congrats on FET date in Feb!

As for Lupron, yes see I started BCPs and after a few weeks they put me on Lupron 10units. I soon got off BCPs, got my period, all while continuing Lupron 10units. Then I dropped down to 5units until I started stims. I'm still on stims as well as Lupron 5units. Hope that answer helps you. :)

Natashasmom - I got my period every time I was on lupron - after about a week of being on lupron, AF would come. I'm pretty sure they expect this because they want your body to be fully supressed on lupron - which means a lining of like zero.

Still no call from the embryologist. I hate being this impatient!

NHY - Thanks for the support! You know how it is - I keep thinking about last cycle and how they called before noon....and since they haven't called yet - there MUST be bad news and they are waiting for my RE to become available to call. :?

Trying not to think this way - but sometimes the thoughts creep in anyway! Then again - the lab could just be really busy as this is basically the only week between thanksgiving and christmas they do ER and ET.....
