I had the same thing. I suspect it is the mucus that help pave the way for the spem. I think that the drugs make it more noticable. I kept worrying that I would ov before they got my eggs.

thanks dagny... I too thought it was the bodily fluid they talk about around ovulation but I was trying to convince myself that (a) its too early for ov (b) and I"m on Lupron so hopefully I don't ovulate.

I got the call from my RE that 17 out of 19 fertilized. I know that's a really good number, but I can't help but be anxious to hear on Sunday how many continue to grow. A tentative date for Sunday 12/21 has been set for ET, but I will get a call that morning to see if we are going to go for ET on 12/23. We'll see...

JennJenn... Hang in there. I know what it's like to research every symptom. I've been there! I think have AF symptoms is a good sign but don't read too much into anything. I hear everyone is different.

Kyli... Was it AF that came? I'm surprised, especially if you're on progesterone. My nurse told me that AF wouldn't come b/c of the PIO shots. Hope you're doing okay.

NHY... LOL... I love that your husband has a sense of humor. DH and I go through similar tension when it comes to the shots. I think we're getting better though.

Sprouthaus... Be careful in the snow! I don't know how you ladies do it.

Hi everyone - Well, the trip to REs office was quite an adventure this morning. TG DH is such a good snow driver - the plows couldn't keep up and all roads were a mess. It took us 1.5 hours (normally 40 minutes) which didn't seem so bad. The worst part was that it was hard for me to guage when to start drinking water to make my bladder full - so by the time ET actually occurred, I was squirming!!!!

As for the ET itself - it went good (according to RE). My RE couldn't make it to the office in time, so her colleague did the transfer. According to him, I had a kink in my cervix and he had mucho problems getting the catheter in. Not fun. After 6 IUIs and 1 previous ET - I was surprised at how difficult it was for him. Oh well.

Spoke to the embryologist this morning and we actually had very good news. As of 7am, one embie was a perfect 4 cell and one was 3 cells dividing into 4 - and both were perfectly shaped. All of this is 'stage appropriate' given that it is 2dp ER.

Also - the two that didn't fertilize weren't mature yet - which is why they didn't fertilize. So - I actually had 'better' results than last cycle. Last cycle I had 10 eggs, 8 mature and fertilized - but only 2 of these made it to day 3. I've improved my quality from 25% of the mature eggs to 100% of the mature eggs. At least, that's how I'm choosing to look at it!

I'm sitting on the couch now drinking tea and relaxing. I see my acupuncturist again today at 3:30. I feel that I am able to breathe again now that these embies are in me. I was so worried we would get to the office today to find out both didn't make it through the night.

Again thank you to all for your support and positive thoughts. I couldn't have survived these past couple of days without it. Your support (and online shopping) help to keep me sane  Enough about me....

ann d. You are truly an insiration to us all! May they all develop into dat 5 blasts for transfer and freezing!

JJ - I'm glad to be joining you on the 2ww. Hopefully next week will fly by with Christmas. My beta is scheduled for 12/31. I'm THRILLED about this. If I get a positive - my RE told me to have a glass of champagne at midnight to celebrate (don't know if I'd do this though). And if I get a BFN - I'm getting SLOSHED! I'm glad to hear you are still feeling OK - no OHSS is a good thing! And CONGRATS on your 6 snow babies!

NHY - There is still time for those follies to grow. Every RE has a little different process they go through. Even though you aren't having twice the number of follies - perhaps these will be better quality with the extra FSH you are getting. How many days does RE think you will stim?

Sisi1 - I LOVE Canada. Where do you live? I have to admit - with 12 inches of fresh snow on the ground AND the next week off - I would normally be x-country skiing every day. It is quite a bummer that it is not an option for me in the 2ww.

W4B - I can't believe how close your beta is. I will be checking this board CONSTANTLY on Monday! :P

Congrats Sprouthaus glad to hear the two eggs were healthy. I haven't heard back from RE yet but I'm guessing I'll stim until Tues atleast.

The snow has started here! We're supposed to get 12" today and more on Sun. I told you about my 10hr commute last year during a snow storm, right? So this year I'm hunkering down at the office til traffic dies off.

Have a great weekend ladies!

Congrats Sprouthaus!! I knew those two would make it! I don't know how I knew, but I felt it. :D I'm glad you're going to see your acupuncturist today to relax, re-collect yourself, and get back on track with the PMA!

Wishing 4 baby... I can't believe your beta is coming up! How exciting! Your chances are great... you transferred blasts, right?? That's awesome!

Sisi... it's funny to hear someone call me Fertile Mertle b/c trust me, I definitely don't feel it considering I'm going through this IVF. Thank you for the compliment. It made me smile!! :D

Well I'm glad I took the day off from work. I've been feeling pretty uncomfortable all day and just plain tired. I gotta keep my mind busy so that I'm not just sitting here thinking of those embies.

Hi sweet girls.

It was AF that started yesterday, it was day 28 of my cycle and just like clockwork, every 28th day mine starts. I went ahead and had my beta done today just for confirmation and they confirmed that it was negative. I've had a really great support system surrounding me and it has really helped get me through this. It will take time to heal but we will make it. I think we are going to take about a 6 month break and then maybe try again. I'm trying not to worry about it right now I'm so physcially and emotionally wore out.

I'm still praying for each and every one of you. Thank you for all your kind words and the support you have given me. I feel like I'm friends with all of you and I'll be rooting for you. *hugs*

Kyli - I am so sorry to hear about your results. There is nothing I can say that will make your pain less, but please know I am thinking of you and I know that your baby will come to you.

Taking time off sounds like a great idea. I personally have found that for DH and I - we need time off in between. It gives us time to just live again and live for each other. Take all the time you need to heal before you jump back in.

JennJenn - I'll be joining you, my beta is on 12/29 also. It was supposed to be on the 26th, but we'll be out of town.

kyli - not sure if you will see this, but alot of us have been there. It's heartbreaking and I am so sorry that you have to go through it. I did IVF 2 years ago and it never had a heartbeat. This is an emotional rollercoaster. Don't give up!!!

I just took my fist HPT to make sure that the HCG trigger was out of my system and it is. I am not sure when of if I am going to take another one before my beta. Christmas Day is technically will be 10dp3dt. I definitely won't test on Christams, don't want to hose my whole day. I am considering testing the day before and/or maybe the day after. Arghhhhhhhhh.

sprouthaus - Thanks for keeping the list, here are my stats:
Stim start: 12/1
ER: 12/12 - 6 eggs, 4 fertilized
ET: 12/15 - 4 embies transferred
Beta: 12/29

I was looking for my post on giving a shot, is there some reason that it would have been taken down??? Someone was going to try my method and see if it worked. Let me know please, I am curious.
