Good morning, Ladies,
Well I just got back from my U/S and more follicles are growing BUT everyone is growing on their own schedule. I guess that is what happens when you do back to back cycles, do not give your ovaries ANY rest, and do not "prime the pump"....Anyway, my two lead follicles are now 17 and I now have 4 smaller ones in the 13 range.I guess we have decided to loose the 17's inorder to catch the 4 other follicles. It looks like my IUI/ER will be Wednesday or Thursday.

I am leaning towards doing an IUI (as you all suggested :-) ).I realize I really should have given my body time to recover from the last cycle and that I would rather save the money for another cycle at CCRM if this one does not work.....Oh boy...If only I had waited.....I realize though this was my way of dealing with my grief from the previous failed IVF cycle. It is only now that the disappointment of that cycle has really set in.....

Anyway, on a much more positive note....Congrats Lynnie. Your HCG levels are SOOOOOOO strong! I cannot wait for you to see the U/S and hear the h/b so you can relax (at least a little!)

Sisi1: Welcome to the board! And I think you are right--my lead follicles always tend to be on my right ovary. I also generally get more "action" on my right ovary than my left.

SunMoon&Stars: Welcome aboard too! And congrats on your luck--I hope it continues your entire cycle.

Tammy-It is WAY to tell..So try, try, try to stay positive!!! Remember Lynnie did not feel pregnant at day 11!

Kris, I am hoping you have a HUGE smile on your face after the u/s tomorrow!

And lastly, Kelly, thank you so much for keeping this list!!! How are YOU doing?

Baby Dust and Miracles to all!

Hil and Kelly: Thanks for the PMA. I took another HPT this morning and it was a BFN. It is looking more and more like a bust. I guess I will be sure tomorrow.

Regards,
Tammy

Teachertam--

I did not get a BFP till 13 DPO and got a BFN at 14 DPO with a digital.

Use a FRER (early result, not early response)! They are the ones that worked reliably for me!

Hil, about right versus left ovary. I can't belief I am the first to notice this but I can't find any discussion about this anywhere?

That is crazy because for me there is so much difference it would almost not be worth it to go through with ivf at the wrong cycle-you would think this is the kind of information everyone needs to know about!

I have asked a couple of Dr as well but they are just confused and tell me not to worry! ARG!!! :?

Girls... talk to me, is one side more active then the other?

Lynnie: Thanks so much for the encouraging words! I used a FRER yesterday (11 dpo) and a clear blue easy (digital) this morning (12 dpo).
I've prepared myself for the worst and will be pleasantly surprised if it is good news tomorrow. I will not take a HPT tomorrow morning, as I will just wait for the official word to come after I get the results from my beta.

Take care,
Tammy

Tammy i hope you have good news to share with us today. :D

I posted last night but it didn't make it some how. I am in a huge hurry this morning but i will rewrite it today. I will catch up with you all then.

A couple things i would like to add are how many cycles for you pregnant gals before you BFP and your EDC.

Mitch1968 do you have any plans yet for me to add?

Anybody else want me to add them? Does anybody want me to change things? Any suggestions?

Lynnie: I'm so sorry to hear about your ultrasound. It seemed a little soon to have it, so try to remain calm. I know it is easier said than done.

I got my beta back today. As I expected it was a BFN. DH and I will just be thankful for our little DS, Andrew. He really is a joy.

Take care all,
Tammy

Kelly:
Thanks so much for the kind words about my BFN. DH and I talked last night about proceeding with our plans for adoption from China and we also talked about the possibility of embryo adoption. I am 44 and the chances of my eggs being genetically abnormal keep increasing. When I had Andrew my chances of having a baby with Downs Syndrome was 1 in 70, but at 45 years old it is 1 in 30. That concerns me.

Take care,
Tammy

Tammy, i have a neighbor with 2 beautiful little girls from China. But the wait list is getting to be a lot longer. Even though an agency tells you it will be a year less than a year once you get all your paper work in it will actually be 2 plus years. That is what i was told anyway. But there is a way around that. If you will take a "special needs" child. And by that i mean one with amputated finger, cleft lip, ASD. I mean basically normal kids. There are others with much worse health problems but on the paper work you choice what you would be willing to take. You will get those kids in under a year. Also, one sex is easier to get than the other. I believe if you want a boy it is quicker too. Just FYI.

Also, on another paid site i am on there have been several women that have done multiple failed donor cycles before getting a BFP. The reason is that via CGH they have found that over 60 % of donor eggs are chromosomally abnormal too. So keep that in mind when you think about the best bang for the buck. Keep us posted.

Merry Christmas to everybody!!!

Kelly: Thanks for the info. We are already in line to adopt from China. We have been "logged in" since June 9, 2006. For us, it has already been a 2.5 year wait. Right after we turned in our paperwork for adoption, I got pregnant with Andrew! He really is my little miracle baby. It seems that it will still be another 1-1.5 year wait for us.

Take care,
Tammy

I am so glad you are way ahead of the game. You little stinker. Let us know when you get a match or if you decide to do DE. You know there are places that you can get PGD tested donor eggs but that is not 100%. Now if you could get CGH tested donor eggs that would be the way to go it you are still interested in that. CCRM and SIRM both have donor programs and do CGH so you may check with them if you decide to look closer at that.

TeacherTam--

So sorry about your BFN, I know who much it sucks, oh how I know! I love that you have a backup plan already going! That is so smart! A lady after my own heart. The backup plan is the way to save yourself from despair ! I wish I had one right now, but best I can do is to hope that this PG makes it. Also, since you had your miracle, it might not be as awful, I am not sure. I keep thinking, just one, just one and then I will never complain. Ha! Sure I won't!

Anyway, got a call from my doctor who said my ultrasound was fine. She expects a fetal pole and heartbeat next Monday. Said this ultrasound was to make sure we saw a sac in the uterus.

Hard not to worry though...
