W4B... Good luck on your beta!! I think the wait for the results is as worst as the 2WW. I'm thinking of you!

KMHTTC...My RE is really extreme with the bed rest thing. He tells his patients to rest for 5 day. I know... crazy. Since my ET is tomorrow that means I'll be on bed rest Christmas day. But I guess it's all worth it if I get a BFP, right? We're going to see him tomorrow and see if I can at least go downstairs for the day to open presents.

NHY... I'm not sure how many we're putting back. I don't even know the status of the 17 embies since Saturday. I've been thinking how many will make it for tomorrow. DH and I want to put back 3, but since they are blasts my RE might say 2....we'll see! Keep us updated on how many follies and when your ET is scheduled... how exciting!!

KMHTTC - I think all RE's are different on bedrest but mine, like yours only requires 24 hours. I went back to work after my 24 hours and I just rested at night and when I could. I just took it easy. Nothing extreme but I didn't stop living either.

NHY - I'm thinking of you and hope all goes well! Keep us posted when you hear if when to trigger!

Ann D. - That's great about your little guys! 17 is a great number, that will be a 5 day transfer, right? Good luck tomorrow!!

KMHTTC - Sticky vibes to you!! Good luck in your wait!

sprouthaus - I would definatley check with the doc about the massage. The good thing is there is such a thing as a prenatal massage so maybe if they do one of those but I'm not sure??

wishing4baby - My nurse said they hear of patients getting false positives on HPT's. I'm telling you, I would not of done it if I knew that. I thought it was definate if it came back positive. I would wait for bloodwork, that's what is most important!!

Hope all is doing well, sounds like there are a lot of you with bad weather. Here in St. Louis it's just cold but if we get a little snow or ice the entire area freaks out! We wouldn't know what to do with 12 inches! I think it would shut down the entire town! :)

Ann D... Yeesh 5 days of bedrest is a lot but you are right it will all be worth it for a BFP! Good luck with your upcoming ET.

Hi KMHTTC my doctor didn't say anything about bedrest during2ww except for 24-36hrs after ER and possibly 24hrs after transfer.

Speaking of which... I get to trigger tomorrow!!! And my ER is Christmas morning. :D I am so excited and scared at the same time. I called my mom to postpone xmas dinner and I can't wait to hear the doctor tell me how many eggs they've retrieved.

Wish me luck ladies. Merry Christmas & Happy Hanukkah!

WFB... I'm so sorry for your news. I understand that you must be sad and angry at the same time. I have felt the same way before. Please know that I am thinking of you and it's okay to feel the way you do. This journey is so tough on us. Lean on DH for support. And I'm sending you big hugs along the way. Please keep us posted on what the RE says. ((((Hugs)))))

NHY...Good luck on your ER. Keep us posted on the eggs retrieved. I believe it's good luck, too, with it being on Christmas! I'm sending you lots of eggs dust!! (I created that term just on the spot. LOL!) But really... you will definitely be in my thoughts tomorrow.

Gigi and KHTTC... Thanks for the good luck vibes. I need it!
My ET is tomorrow morning. I'm going to acupuncture before the transfer to help me relax. I'm getting anxious about how my embies are looking. Please keep me in your thoughts girls... I'm kinda freaking out.

Sprouthaus... What did you decide on about the massage? If you went for it, hope you were able to de-stress!

W4B - I am so, so, so, so, so sorry to hear about your results. I can not even begin to comprehend how you must feel knowing that yet again you get so close...Please know that we are here to help you get through this - if you need to take time away, then do that. But we are here for you. I can't help but feel sad and angry for you/with you. Maybe it is the stress of the past few days (more on that later) or maybe it is just the stress of this process. ((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))

NHY - Congrats on the scheduling of your ER - it does sound very auspicious to have this on Christmas day.

NY4thT - Welcome to the pincushion club

As for bedrest - my RE does not require any after ET, but she does recommend relaxing as much as possible. Additionally, she says no lifting anything over 15 pounds. Do other REs require this? I am wondering what the thought is behind this rule. I am especially worried because we've had a family emergency over the past two days and I've had to step in and help with my 23 month old niece. She is definitely over 15 pounds and I've had to lift her multiple times among other activities. I would've preferred to keep to the instructions for 2ww, but when I got the call that my 2 month old nephew was being rushed to the emergency room with some sort of neurological problem (stroke maybe, tumor maybe, hydrocephalous maybe) - I didn't think twice about stepping in to help with their daughter. My worry for my nephew has helped me put this whole fertility process in perspective (yet again) and I think I am better prepared for whatever result I get.

For anyone out there that is religious or spiritual, please put my nephew in your prayers. I am so worried for him.

Someone has their beta tomorrow - I can't remember off the top of my head - but good luck, baby dust and miracles to you!

sprouthaus- I am praying for your nephew as well. I am sure things will be ok with you. Sometimes when something else gets our attention we take all focus off ourselves and somehow things work out better. Take care of others and the Lord will take care of you. I truely believe that.

wishing4baby - I'm so sorry and I understand how you feel. Just take it one breath, one step and one day at a time. I'm still in shock myself that it didn't work and I'm just looking for direction to get through all the emotions. If you ever want someone to talk to I'm always available. *hug*

sprouthaus - I think it will be ok that you stepped in to help your family when they needed you. There isn't any proven fact that lifting weight will prevent this from working. Stay positive and I'll be praying for your family.

As for me, still dealing with the fact that my first IVF didn't work. My cycle started last Thursday and I have to say this has been one of the worst cycles I've ever had. Hope this isn't TMI but I'm still bleeding really heavy and this isn't normal for me. I normally go heavy for 3 days and then very light for a couple of days. Also the cramps have been unbelievable. Normally I cramp for the first 3 days and then it's over. I guess it's just because of all the drugs they have us on during the IVF? It kind of feels like a slap in the face, like Haha, IVF Fails for you and you have to be in more pain. I'm just ready for it to be done so maybe I can enjoy Christmas a little bit.

I'm still reading and praying for all of you. I hope you all have a Blessed Holiday.
