Okay I seemed to have answered my own question. I've only used this site to hear from and speak to the ladies in this forum, and not for the rich amount of information that it comes with. I found that the little ones implant within 3 - 4 days after transfer ( http://www.ivf-infertility.com/ivf/stan ... cement.php ). So technically this feeling I have can also be from implantation since today would be 3 days after transfer.

sunshine. Here is wishing you tons of sticky vibes! Will you be taking a HPT? Sending you tons of plus vibes too

I my 2nd beta number came in today at 95.6. So I think we are safe so far. My re is not in next week so my next visit will be on jan 5 for a sonogram. Hopefully next week will be uneventful.
Lynnie when are you going in for another sono?

My second beta was 96! I went from 34 to 96 in two days and felt some relief there. Its funny how the stress does not end!

My second sono is Monday morning (West Coast time). I am dreading it. I have almost no morning sickness when I always had it before. I do have a touch of it and the bitter taste I get in my mouth, I am tired and I am getting horrid headaches and peeing a lot. But without debilitating m/s I worry! It would be awesome if things were ok and I felt this good, but I am really nervous that sono will show bad news!

Its been a very very rough week waiting!

Linnie the higher the beta the better right? I don't know that much of the terms in regards to IVF. All I know is I'm supposed to go in Friday to find out if my blood test is positive.

Hope I really want to take an HPT but I'm so afraid it will be a false positive that I figured I'd wait until next Friday for the blood test provided I don't get my period btwn now and then. My crampy feeling went away this morning, so that's making me feel better, although every time I pee, I'm afraid I'll see pink. BTW don't take the digital test by Clear Blue. Very accurate, but the fact that it says in bold NOT PREGNANT is disheartening. When I was on IUI and I took it and saw that it was like a slap in the face. So now I'll only use the good old fashioned "+" or "-" tests.

Here's to all of us and a nice + sign

WIth the beta, the higher the better within reason. I think sometimes you can have a beta that is too high and indicates issues, never know anyone that had that happen though.

I think doubling every 24 hours is great, but you just need it to double every 72 to be still ok I believe.

I used the clear blue and it said not pregnant when my other test was positive. Only accurate to 50 and I was 34 that day....so I will only use FRER from now on!

Hello everyone!!

I can feel the nerves getting to you all!!

Lynniecat good luck for your scan tommorrow, swallow your stress and put it away in a little box, get it out every now and again to say Hi and then put it away again!!

Hope great news on your beta, :D jan 5th will come round quicker than you think with new year inbetween.

Sunshine sending you lots of positive energy this week to make your little embies stick, thats so cool you got a picture of your embies :D

Well we have been run off our feet, with a house full over xmas. We also had a young lady who is disabled who I have looked after since she was 4 she is 23 now from xmas night as well as our other children who were here. She is going to the hospice tommorow for a couple of weeks and one of our other children is going for a few days respite over the new year so it will be a bit quieter here.

Quite an eventful week coming up for you guys so will check in to see how you are doing.

Take Care

Just wanted to post quickly and wish lynniecat all the best today. I am sure you will see the fetal pole today! I read somewhere that the beta number needs to be a certain number before you can see it that is why you probably haven't seen it yet. Nonetheless I know you are nervous. Please post as soon as you know I will check in later. I am sure everything is fine :) sending tons of hugs!

Okay I'm really scared right now. I'm starting to suffer from the usual discomfort that occurs just before my period starts. Tomorrow will mark 7 days after my transfer and I'm so close to tears becuase this is what happened last time. I haven't seen any pink or red indication that I'm getting my period, but this is my first day back in the office since Monday and I don't know what to do with myself.

sunshine,

oh honey, it might not be anything. If i were you i would leave the office and just say you are not feeling well. and go lay down at home . it might be that you are stressed out being in the office and not knowing what is going on yet but def. go home and relax maybe that will help. call your re office. are you taking progesterone shots or supp? my re has told me if i feel cramping to put another supp of progesterone in. go home though and try to relax....

Hope I'm taking the prometrium suppositories. Two a day. The feeling started in the shower, and I put one in after. I've decided to stay in the office. I've been home since Tuesday, and really needed to get out of the house. I am taking it easy though.

Sunshine, do not get upset too early. Remember I had bleeding starting 10 days after transfer, I also had cramps and pressure. It was the embyro implanting. Pleas let us know how you are doing.

Were you a 3 or 5 day transfer .. I am forgetting at the moment. Have you POAS. If you do, get a FRER (make sure it says early result)!

Hope --

Once the beta is over 1000 my clinic stops checking and schedules the ultrasound. I heard over 2000 is when you will see the gestational sac, but you won't see a fetal pole for sure till the middle of the 6th week and even then you might not see it even if things are fine!

I went for my second u/s and saw the fetal pole and the heartbeat!!!! It was 136! WOOOHOOOO! I feel so much better today! Waiting to hear from the doctor for the next step!

Sunshine like lynnie said cramping like your period is going to start is not a bad sign its also the feeling you get when implantation is happening, thats what is so bad about all this IVF stuff the feelings are all the same, please try not to worry you are another day closer to your test day so hang on in there.

lynnie sooooooo happy for you amazing, fantastic, happy days!!!! Let us know what happens next.

Hi Hope, how you doing?

Nice to hear from you mally, whats your next steps going to be?

Take care of all of you, your babies and your embies :D

Linnie & Sara - I had gotten a Day 5 transfer and today marks 6 days after transfer so that's why I'm so worried since I saw on this site that typical implantation after transfer is day 3 or 4.

I have acupuncture today so I'm hoping it will help zen me out. I was so relaxed until today.

Linnie such great news!!! I can't wait til I'm there too!

Lynniecat- I am sooooooo happpppyyyyyy For you yippeeeee! How exciting! I am sure you are breathing easier today! I knew everything was going to be ok. How is everything measuring? My first u/s is on monday and I will feel so much better once I see what is going on in there. So what is next now? Do you have to find an obgyn or does your clinic also do labor and delivery?
Sunshine how are you feeling? Have you gone back for a hormone check to see how your progesterone is? I had gone 2 days after transfer. Just be sure to call your re if you are still cramping b/c you may need more progesterone since you are taking it 2x a day. They could up it to 3x a day if your levels are low. Make sure you rest and I am praying for sticky vibes for you.
I am feeling pretty good. I am extemely bloated. I already look 4 months pregnant. I am trying to keep it to myself until I am past my first trimester but at the rate I am going won't be able to keep it a secret much longer.
