Renee: To post a photo, I post it on photobucket first. www.photobucket.com/. The user name and password are both ivfgroup.
Once the photo is posted there, I copy the last link (there are three of them) to my post here. You can then do a preview to see if it works. Let me know if it works for you. There may be an easier way to do it and I'm sure there probably is, but this one works for me.

I think DH and I will try during my next cycle to get pregnant naturally. Of course this is a real long shot, but it does not hurt to try. I do not think I will do anymore fertility treatments. If we cannot get preggo naturally, I think we will just continue waiting and adopt from China. Of course our wait will be 1 - 1.5 years more. Andrew would really enjoy having a sibling. He did great around his 2nd cousins at Christmas. The youngest cousin is 10 and he tried to interact. It was cute and very touching.

Take care all,
Tammy

Renee, i wouldn't worry about the meds. I think they are fine.

I am confused about the obama thing.

I am going to kick your butt if you don't get the deed done.

Tammy, you know you can get pregnant and stay pregnant. All you need is one good one to pop out at the right time.

Hoping you both get preggers the old fashion way this month.

Hello everybody else.

I wish I was in Hawaii right now. I love it there! DH and I went for our honeymoon and then again a couple other times to just enjoy the warmth and the good food and beauty!

I had my ultrasound and it showed the fetal pole and an heartbeat of 136. I am 6.6 weeks and all looked good. I am finally feeling a bit relieved!

and the way it all started with bleeding and the low betas...man its been a rough ride!

Lynnie: That is the BEST news!!!!! I am so happy for you.

Renee/Lynnie: DH and I were married in Maui in 2004 and we absolutely love Hawaii. We are planning a family trip with Andrew there early summer 2010. He will be 3 years old then and will hopefully be easier to manage on a long plane ride.

Take care all,
Tammy

3rd ultrasound

Post by krisnerol »

Ladies,

I hate to be a downer, but our twins didn't make it. Needless to say my husband and I are dealing with many emotions. I'm scheduled for a d & e on 1/8 and a follow up consult with my dr. 1/26. I don't know what I want to do from here. Adoption? I don't know if I can do IVF again. This was only our 3rd IVF (1st successful, 2nd BFN), but this is our 4th m/c and over 16 yrs. of ttc off and on. At my church, I was one of 4 prego. women--the other 3 are all in their early 20's! One of the girls moms is only 4 yrs. older than me (and soon she'll be a grandma!). I'm feeling my age and I'm rather depressed. If it wasn't for my faith in God, I don't know what I'd do. Thanks for listening and I'll be sure to keep checking in on all the positive stories.
God bless,
Kris

krisnerol --

I am so very sorry! Are they sure? I guess they are or you would not be posting :-( So horrible, too many losses for you and so unfair!

Do they know why this is happening? Is it something immune or something about the uterus? Would a gestations surrogate help?

You are in my thoughts and I hope you are able to find a way through this and come up with a new plan. I wonder if they can check to see if the fetuses were genetically ok when they do the D&E -- that may give you a clue as to what to do next. I know friends have found that information heartbreaking, but helpful in terms of what to do next.

Again, sorry this has happened ....

Kris,

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I cannot imagine how devastating a miscarriage would be.

Take care,
Tammy

Kris, i am so sorry. I went through the same thing in July. It really knocked me on my A$$. I have been on antidepressants since then and i intent to stay on them throughout the ivf. I am glad you have your faith to help you keep things in perspective. On the next update i will put you down with Tammy as considering adoption. Let me know if that is not okay. Please keep us posted on your progress. HUGS

Lynnie, Congrats!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you.

NY, i think i took you off the list because i hadn't heard from you in awhile. This next update i will add you back on. Nothing personal i was just trying to simplify the list.

Dang it, i have never been to Hawaii. I probably never will go since all our money will be gone from pursuing ivf. Oh well, if it works it was money well spent. If it doesn't work

Hello, to everybody else. I will update the list later today.

Happy 2009!!!!!

Post by Hil »

Good morning, Ladies!

I am so excited about 2009...I have a good feeling about it!!!!!! Good-bye 2008!

Since I have last posted I converted to IUI b/cuz all my follicles were growing out of synch. My Re said I had somewhere between 3-8 follicles but I think he was trying to be positive. According to my calculations there were only "two" contenders.

Anyway, the funny thing is that I "feel" pregnant this cycle. I just did a pregnancy test though (9dpo) and it was negative. :-( I guess all the hormones from two cycles in a row have confused me.....;-)
For hope, I just went back and read Lynnie post from early December when she did NOT think she was prego and turned out seeing a line at day 13---so I am still hoping!!!!!! Oh, and CONGRATS Lynnie on the latest ultra sound!!!! Whoooooooo-Hooooooo!!!!!

And, happy New Year's Everyone and I hope all our wishes come true!!!!!

Hilary, what sizes were your follies when you triggered? You know 9 dpo is too early. You are still in it sister. Hoping you are our first BFP of the new year.

Okay, i suck. I know i said i would have the list updated by now but i am a slacker. You guys should know that by now.

Renee, hows it going? Did you get her done?

Kris, again, i am just so sorry for your loss.
