Hope I'm so happy for you!!! At this point who cares about the bloating? You're gonna be huge and will love it!!!

I'm not so much with cramping but more of feeling uncomfortable. Although it's been on and off all day. It was at it's worst this morning, but not so bad now. Acupuncture really helped me relax today. Tomorrow will be 7 days after a day 5 transfer. If I can make it past tomorrow without bleeding I think I should be in the clear. Praying.

Sunshine, you need to try and stay calm and positive, it helps a lot. All the same wishing you the very best of luck.

Sara30, this is my second failed ICSI, so I would like to take abreak for about 8months, and then try again with the remianing three embryos. We are also considering adoption, alongside trying, may be through that our blessing BFP will come.

Lynniecat, you are an inspiration to me, Congratulations!!!!!! Do share some tips with me and those of us in waiting, may be it might help us on our next trial.

Hope33 Congratulations!!!!!!!! I am so happy with you, may you sail through this pregnancy, successfully.

My little ones didn't stay :(

I started getting mild cramping New Year's Eve but tried to stay positive. New Year's morning I started spotting but it wasn't very bad, so I still hoped. This morning I started bleeding. Today was my blood test and was praying my condition was making my body act funky, but unfortunately my worse fears came true.

At this point I'm going to demand the doctor's treat my condition for the next 3 - 9 months before I try again. I only have one cycle left and don't want to lose it with the doc's constantly saying "it happens" when they've never really treated a woman who has diagnosed Adenomyosis.

Ladies thank you so much for all of your support. I will be checking in periodically to see how all of you are doing, and will be giving all of you progress reports on my treatment. Thank you so much for being there for me although we've never met

First I want to wish all of you a healthy and happy new year and may 2009 be the year where you all get you bfp's!

Sunshine- I am very very sorry about your bfn. I am sure it was very hard to go through especially since it was on new years... Did you ever go in 2 days after transfer to see what you hormone levels were? Last FET I did in june my hormone levels were very low and I think that is the main reason my pregnancy didn't stick. My re says it was the embryos but I feel it was the low progesterone. This time around my re didn't take any chances and has me on progesterone supp 5x a day 500mgs which I think is a lot. Maybe you needed more progesterone to keep the embies going? When are you trying again?

Lyinnecat- how are you doing?

Sara30. How did you ring in the new year?

Mally how are you doing? I had taken a 5 month break to mentally and physically prepare for this time around too. I think it is a good thing! Wishing this year is your year!

Hugs to all you ladies!

I am going in on monday for a sonogram so I will keep you posted til then....

Hi Sunshine I am so sorry to hear your BFN, no words can express how hard it is to hear that news. What can the doctors do to treat your condition, I am sorry I don't know much about it. Yes your embies are precious so you need to have all the info you can before you start again.

Hi Hope happy new year to you also, we took our foster children to the superbowl for the new year, it was quite difficult for me once midnight struck I couldn't quite get into the happiness of it all and had a cry in DH arms as all I wanted to do was be at home really but you carry on don't you when you have no choice but to. The children all had a good time tho and thats what counts.

Hi Mally I took a year out this time before we started again but we are now going to go for it and use all our embryos we have four more chances, hopefully with a BFP that sticks with one of them. We are into our 7th year now of doing this journey and I want it to end now this year one way or another so my life can move on. Here in the UK we have to wait for up to a year after fertility treatment before they will consider us for adoption, I am not sure what we will do if we do not get pregnant, we have moved children on to adoption as foster carers and it is amazing the relationships we have built with adoptive parents and seen how their lives become fulfilled with their children.

Hi lynniecat how are you?

Oooh so exciting your scan on Monday Hope,

Take Care all

Hello ladies.

I'm calling the doc's office on Monday for an appt. I'm going to speak to them about treating my condition, adenomyosis (the link to my blog is in my signature below if you're interested). I will also ask about the hormone levels. Because they didn't ask, I assumed all of that was fine. As far as I know everything is working fine, with the exception of my fallopian tubes and now I feel my uterus as well. My condition may not allow me to carry or even implant for that matter. Anyway take a look at my blog and it also has other links if you're interested in finding out more. I will check back soon to see how all of you are doing

Had my re appointment yesterday and there was 1 healthy looking sac there - no heartbeat yet but re said he thinks he sees a small fetalpole? The other embie didn't show up so we are assuming it didn't make it. My due date is 9-5-09 and he said that I was only 5 1/2 weeks. I thought I was further along but guess not. Now he has released me to an obgyn but my obgyn that delivered my ds does not do labor and delivery anymore just gyno stuff and is currenlty out on maternity leave due back in feb. Reaaly stinks. so I am in search of a new obgyn. I have 2 appointments with 2 differnet ones to see who I like more but they both won't see me til I am at least
7 _8 weeks along so seems I am in limbo til the 20th. Will keep you all posted. I had cramping last night and some cramping right now so trying to take it easy.
Will post again soon :)
Lynniecat how are you doing? What is your due date and are you still seeing your re? How $any weeks are you now and when was your tranfer done?

Hope, yes I scheduled yesterday. Have an appt with him on the 20th. I have 1 IVF cycle left. Maybe 2 if I can talk the insurance company into switching out my 3 remaining IUIs for a 1/2 IVF since I have 6 embryos in cryo. In the meantime I'm going to call my attorney and start the process for adoption. Since that takes so long I figured I might as well.

Hey Hope

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :D :D :D You and DH did it, so happy for you, I really want to learn how to do the sparkly stuff on here!! will have to give it ago. Let us know how you get on.

Sunshine we have our next appointments at the same time, mine is the 19th, I want to do a FET going to ask if there is any reason for my miscarriages or if they can do any tests to find out if there is anything else wrong with me!! Since this is not the first one.
Over here they will not allow you start the process for adoption until you have finished all IFV treatments for a year. Not sure if that is the same for all of the UK but it is in our local area.

Where are you lynnie?

Take Care

Hi Sara, no I don't believe that's the case here. I know of a few women who were trying and going through the adoption process as well. But I'll get all the specifics once I speak with my attorney. I'll probably make the call the same week of the appointment. I'm still digesting what happened, and don't want to overwhelm myself.
