Welcome prayingforBFP, I also found Christmas challenging, sounds like you worked it out :D .

I don't especially want to rain on anyone's parade but I just wanted to comment on sperm numbers. My RE told me you need at least 10 million to have a good chance of conception and I read posts about girls whose hubbys had 200 and 230 million per sample.

Thankfully my DH is in between those 2 numbers even the time when he has an "accident" on the way and spilled half his juices :P

Well Ladies

Hope everyone has had a good day I just know that the new year will bring us all lots of luck. I have been taking the Bravelle injections since Monday 3 vials a night and today after i got off work and came home I decided that I was going to take a nap and woke up and could feel a little like stabbing pains in my sides just wondering if thats the bravelle working or if I have just lost my mind.

Hi ladies...care if I join? I'm very new to this message board, just started reading some posts today.

This is our first IVF. We chose IVF because my husband had a vasectomy more than 10 yrs ago. We decided a reversal was not the option for us and so in vitro was our only other option! My husband has a son that is 14 and is severely handicapped...thus the vasectomy.

I started BCPs early in Dec and am currently on the Lupron injections and BCPs. I start Bravelle on Jan 9th, with an expected ER on Jan 20 and ET on Jan 23. Our only blip so far was during my saline sonogram showed that I have polycystic ovaries and I could be at a high risk for overstimulation. But, all my hormone bloodwork came back normal. We're hoping for the best!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!.... I sat here all hungover for the last hour catching up on personals. I don't know what I did and oushed the wrong button and it took me back to the homepage without sending reply..... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Well, now I am going to have to type what I remember and I apologize if I leave something out.

Well basically... mandeekins and prayin4BFP, welcome. Prayin, I'm sorry that u have to be on a new orum, but hopefully this will be your time to glow and mandeekins, hope u get the support u need and good luck.

Sisi1 and Espinoza... the pains and aches and swings all have to do with the meds. I hope it doesnt get to bad but just remember, it will all be worth it at the end. As for me, yes I am mexican, and the story was great. My DH got a big head when he found out his little ones were great. He always thought it was him since he had gotten into a real bad bike accident when he was younger.. Dr. even told him that there was a chance he wont be able to have kids, but he is fine. TG.

Well, ladies, I had fun yesterday. We did the drinking, dancing, eating, drinking, laughing, singing, drinking.. oops did I say that already  u get my point. especially since I had my friends and especially my family with me. I hope this year will bring all of us our Bundles of Joy.

My re appt is in 7 more day, I cant wait but I should be starting my AF any day now. I hope he doesnt tell me I have to delay or any bad news about starting cycle. In the meantime, starting Monday, I am going on a NO carb diet and hopefully I could lose a few punds by my next ER/ET. Maybe it will help.

Good Morning! Feeling like it is taking forever for AF to get here so I can start stims again...SIGH. Its not any longer than usual though but the days seem like years.
SiSi...I remember that bloated feeling. I looked like I had swallowed a basketball :) Wish I had some advice but it is a necessary evil.
Lady J...glad to hear you had a fun new year. We spent the evening watching Dick Clark and going to bed...yeah I know...we are mad party animals. :)
Well off to start my day...I am not working right now. I quit my job just before Christmas (actually the day after my ER) due to having the boss from hell. I just couldnt take it anymore. She was so judgmental about my IVF. I had to tell her because I had to rearrange my schedule for ER and ET but I always made sure there was coverage and all my work was done. She has lots of issues that I couldnt deal with anymore. I am lucky DH can carry the load for us both right now.

Good Morning Ladies. Well, I am back at work. Anyway, at least it is Friday and I have 2 more days off.

Espinozal23... Sorry about your lining. How thick do they want it and what do you have it at? As for the follies, that sounds great. I hope your lining thickens up in time. As for the depo, I don't know about that, sorry. How many days now have u been on stims?

praying4BFP... As for your AF... I feel u hun. Mine still has a few days for it to get here but it feels liuke it is dragging. I want to start BCPs already cuz it is still a whole month of that and Lupron before I even start stims. Aaaaar. I hope your AF can show up already so that u can get started on stims.... so u r looking at a Jan ER & ET? As for your job... wow, I hope u told your boss off when u left. That was very rude of her. Well, DH is great!

Sisi1... I am glad you are feeling better hun. The bloated part will stay there a bit longer. If u get a BFN (which I pray u don't), the bloated will subside after a couple of weeks. If u get your BFP (whic I pray and know u will), then the bloated will get bloatier  . SO when do u get an update?

BarbD... So how did your appointment go. Good Luck today!!!

Well, let me go and try to update the schedule so I can post.

Hi Ladies, and Happy New Year!

I was hoping I could join you. I am going for a consult with RE on 1/22, so I expect to be in a feb. or mar. cycle. If I am closer to march, i may start a new thread then, only b/c most of you will probably be a month or 2 pregnant by then!

I frequent this board everyday and love talking to all of the ladies here. I did my first ivf cycle in Dec of 2007 and it was successful. My beautiful Ella is now 4 months old! We have decided that we want to try for #2 sooner than later. Insurance will cover one more try in CT and we are paying for dh frozen sperm to be in storage. We were male factor due to low count/poor motility. I desperately want Ella to have a sibling to play with, so I think now is the time, while i am still out of work and still have all of the baby gear, and still used to getting up at the butt crack of dawn and always being tired.

Lady J- oh your poor post dissappeared! I have learned the hard way too many times on here, and now, everytime I post before i hit submit, I copy my post, just in case!

I am looking forward to getting to know you all here and following your stories.
