I am 29 and DH is 41 and we live in Utah. DH had a vasectomy over 10 years ago as a result of an unplanned pregnancy. The pregnancy and delivery were normal, however, at about 6 months of age, my stepson started having seizures and it was downhill from there. The mother walked away from her son and left my husband a single father of a severely handicapped little boy. The genetic tests were inconclusive so my husband said he'd never have another and went and got clipped.
When we were dating and even when we got married, I understood his decision and was ok with not having children. However, one day I asked him what he'd say if I wanted just one child. He agreed and the pg bug hit big time! We met with a urologist and were told our only options were a reversal or IVF with ICSI. We decided that IVF was our best option and so our journey has begun.
I started BCPs on December 9th and the Lupron injections on Dec 26th. Luckily, my husband is a paramedic and is completely comfortable shooting me up! I start Bravelle on Jan 9th with expected ER Jan 20 and ET on Jan 23. This process just seems so slow at this point!
On a side note, I'm surfing the internet on New Year's Eve because my DH is at work at the fire department

Looking forward to meeting some new friends online and hearing your stories...Mandee
