Allison, they live on Combs Lane just outside Stowmarket - this allows Mum to pretend she lives near Combs! Think Hyacinth Bucket! Bless!!! They moved up from London about 15 years for my step-father's job with no links to the county at all but now love Suffolk and wouldn't dream of moving.

Glad to hear ET is over and the dreaded 2ww has at least begun. Well done on managing to get a frostie out of the tmt too.

Bel, the different procedures leave me confused. How long will you have to have HCG jabs for? Are they self-administered? I always think of you in your new slides! Sandals are LIGHT-YEARS away for me here in the snow.

I'm on a daily gel/pessary and 3 x daily pills and am finally only 1 week away from my result but have started distinct bloating and AF type feelings today. I know, I know I mustn't get pessimistic but how long can 2 weeks last???????

MPMA (mega positive mental attitude!)
Debra.

I'm so sorry for you negative Dizzy. Take care of yourself.

I'm so sad, also, for my daughter. Against the advice, she did the hpt again today and got a BFN at 12dp3dt. She's sure it's over, just waiting for the beta. The faint pink line yesterday must have been an evaporation line.

Does PIO cause gas? She burps constantly, but she isn't nauseated. When will she begin to feel better?

To Dizzy,
So So So So Sorry. Life just seems so unfair doesn't it. You will be a Mum soon, but just be a bit more patient. Your time will come. I know that is no consolation at the moment but you have got a frostie which is going to come up trumps for you.
Massive hugs to you and dh. Do let yourself scream, cry and stamp your feet, as you are allowed. I know I will be if I get a -ive.

Grandma - your daughter still has another day before she should test, so tell her to keep on in there. If its still negative tomorrow then I will be sending cyber higs to you both. This 2ww is so hard, but she really wont know for sure until tomorrow.

Angelina - how did ec and et go. Keep us posted so we can cheer you on.

ReganKate - are you OK? I haven't heard from you since I told you to Chill out. I feel abit guilty now ... I was only joking. Have you gone back to work?

Alison, I am glad et went well. Make sure you talk to your embies, and imagine them implanting. I think you shower backwards to make sure you dont make your tummy too hot.

Debra - MPMA, MPMA ..... no negativity on this thread please!!!!. You have another week to imagine those embies bedding down. You seem to still be taking so many drugs - is that because you had a fet.

Miracle - hope you are surviving the 2ww. Keep on talking to those embies. Have you watched any good films? I am watching the worst movies on Sky at the moment - daytime kiddies movies, at least they all have happy endings.

Belinda/ Loopy / Kathryn - are we all day 5 today. Over a thrid of a way through. Hope you guys are feeling fine. My boobs are hurting again today, back ache and so many twinges. This is my last day of being lazy before I return to work. Gutted.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US. PMA PMA PMA PMA

Hi Jane,

Yep, I am still here!! 8)
I have sort of just been checking in once and a while reading everyone else's. Don't feel guilty.....I needed that. No one else around here knows to do that!!
I have gone back to work, started Monday. I am an Assistant Director to a preschool so it is not that stressful, sort of.............
I am on day "5" of my wait and I just want to cry. I hate waiting, but thankfully the week is going pretty fast.
Could you explain to me why the doctor has you not pick up anything more than 10 LBS??? What would that do if you did?
My boobs are stil VERY sore and I am a little crampy......Hope these are good signs, oh and VERY MOODY!!!!!!!
How are you hanging in??? Are YOU OK??
Thanks for checking on me!!!!

wish you all the BEST!!!!

Thanks, everybody, for the well wishes for tomorrow. Her appt. is at 2:00 p.m. and she is going to ask the dr. to call at 4:00 so her dh will be there to get the call with her. I'm soooo ready for her to get past tomorrow. This has taken such an emotional toll on her and she is my heart. I'll let you all know soon. Thanks so much for your support and blessings to you all.

Hi all,

First I need to apologise for my appalling spelling (don't even know if that's the correct spelling for appalling to be honest!), am soooo used to spell check, I'm completely lost without it!

Well fantastic cycle buddies, we're all progressing nicely me thinks!

Grandma - I agree with the other girls, day fourteen results are valid, prior to that doesn't count one little tiny bit, she's a really lucky girl to have such an amazing mum isn't she! :D

Lou - Tiredness is a good sign, as is breast sensitivity, PMA to you..GO GIRL!!! :D

Trace - Love your messages, you're so incredibly supportive of all of us, yep, am day five today and counting! I had accupuncture today so feeling positive about that!..Surviving the 2ww is sooooo hard, and doesn't seem to get any easier. Good luck to you too! :D

July-ann, am also guilty of boob pushing, last IVF cycle I pushed them so much they ended up sore, then I convinced myself that this was a good sign of pregnancy (am a dag at times I am!!! :? )

ReganKate, am on day five with you my dear!, not sure about the weight limitation, I think there's a higher chance of miscarriage with lifting heavy objects, but didn't ever know that was a magic number..all very strange. All the best to you on the 2ww..we will get through this! :D

Alison, glad that et went well, my clinic told me that you shower backwards 'cause the embies can break down if they get too hot..Good luck on the much dreaded 2ww! :D

Debra, am in slides again today, but don't be too envious of our weather, a cyclone is forecast for southeast Queensland this weekend, we're planning on staying instead and securing any objects that might fly away!! Keep up that mpma I say! :D . Sounds like there are slighly different protocols all over the palce with IVF. I have HcG injections into my bum on day 4 and day 7, is quite painful but a small price to pay I reckon! Have never had pessaries, they sound uncomfortable (and a tad unromantic!!)

Sorry if I've missed anyone (there are a few of us hey??)

Five days down for me and nine to go until testing hopefully! Am feeling bloated and a bit windy today, don't know what this is about!
Take it easy gals

Day 6 of the 2ww. Nearly half way there. I am not sleeping very well. Boobs dont hurt as much today. No pregnancy signs. A bit miserable. Starting back at work today. Oh what a bundle of joy I am at the moment. I bet you are all pleased you dont live with me!!
BelB - hope you dont get blown away this weekend.
Regan Kate - glad to see you are back. Don't worry I am very moody, esp every time I have to do a suppositry. I found out today that if we are pregnant we have to cont with them until week 9. BelB - you're right it does sort of kill any romantic sexy feelings - esp as they give you wind!! Ooh maybe its us lot in England on suppositries thats causing the cyclone.??
Angelina - how is everything going. Id on't think we've heard from you since ec. I hope you had some embies?? :D :D
Miracle - I hope you are feeling better today. Keep us posted. As stated in your other thread I think it is a positive sign. You've also got age on your side - you whipper snapper you!!!!
Hope all is well with everyone else on the 2ww- Alison / July Ann / LoopyLou / Debra / Kathryn.
Wendy - hope you are feeling OK.
And lastly but by no way least - hello Traci. Has af arrived yet?

Fingers crossed everyone.

Hi everyone,

Sounds like I am just a beginner on the 2WW. Day 3 today if ET is day 1. The rest of you are a couple of days or so ahead of me. I want you all to get BFPs and that will keep me going till the end.

Traci - No knicker checking and boob bashing yet but it wont be long. My boobs were sore around EC and ET but eased off now. How are you getting on - Has af arrived yet?

Debra/Jane/Regan/July Ann/Loopy - good luck and keep away from those hpts.

Grandma - Hope your daughter gets the result she wants.

Love Allison
